Olavi Virta (originally to 1926 Oskari Olavi Ilmén) (27 February 1915 in Sysmä, Finland – 14 July 1972 in Tampere, Finland) was a Finnish singer, acclaimed as the king of Finnish tango. Between 1939 and 1966 he recorded almost 600 songs, many of which are classics of Finnish popular music, and appeared in many films and theatrical productions. Of his most acclaimed tangos are Punatukkaiselle tytölleni (For my red haired girl), Ennen kuolemaa (Before death) (Avant de mourir) and Täysikuu (Full moon; video), while standouts from his other popular music are Poika varjoisalta kujalta (Boy from a shady alley) (Guaglione), Hopeinen kuu, (Silver moon, Guarda Che Luna; video), Eva and Kultainen nuoruus (The golden youth). He was also the second tenor of the quartet Kipparikvartetti in the early 1950s.
At the beginning of his career he received three gold records for the songs Ennen kuolemaa, Tulisuudelma (El Choclo) and La Cumparsita.
Olavi Virta's career was cut short by a scandalous arrest for drunken driving in 1962, after which the press mockingly called him "The Singing Meatball." Ten years later he succumbed to alcoholism, living his final years in poverty.

The story behind: I love Finland! Always have, always will. Even as a little kid Finland made a deep impression on me. My memory is failing with age, but still I do remember how my family and I took the ferry over to Vaasa for the very first time in the 80s. And there have been many trips to our neighbors across the sea over the years. On holiday(s) with my family and touring with various bands. I only have great memories from my trips and tours in Finland. Like this time when I met a couple outside Vastavirta-klubi who claimed that they knew a guy who had killed a bear with only his two hands. Or like when it was so cold that the heating system in the car gave up and we had to scrape ice on the car windows from the inside. We sat in our sleeping bags on newspaper and cartons not to freez...
Diane Jarvi on kolmannen polven amerikansuomalainen laulaja-lauluntekijä. Jarvi syntyi Minnesotan Minneapoliksen St.Paulissa jossa myös asuu edelleen. Dianen sukujuuret juontavat mm. Etelä-Pohjanmaalla.
[Intro]
Awwww, yeah, K-Diggity Dawg

[Mad One]
From la Lucha Libre to the WCW

And from the oh la lay esse to the yes yes yall
who wants to step to my homeboy K-Dawg
and get slammed on the mat
gets your whole head cracked
the women whistlin locos on a future soul track
[Konnan]
I step to the ring yelling "ORALE!"
from Me-xi-co all the way to the USA
Puttin gauchos and stasso in lassos
Gettin scuffed up, boy I'll freakin ruff up
Tequila Sunrise you watch them burn
what we do was shot the bottle
and we eat the worm
and now its our turn
[Mad One]
Bald heads, tatoos and pinto tents
from the Sons of DV for the world to see me
then back to the ghetto
again the world to sin
the mother keeps crying
cuz the children keeps dying
[Konnan]
In this hot evil pot we all melt
how can I help the world
if I can't help myself
so call it quits or get hit
and get your wig split
who the hell you think you are dealin with, esse?
[CHORUS x2]
[Mad One]
What do you know
about Tequila Sunrise
and what do you know
about the ghetto life
the K the D the O the G
down with the M the A the D O-N-E
[Konnan]
So punk the future
from the revolution
I feel like an animal
I'll eat you like a cannibal
That's how it is
and that's how it's gonna be
I represent the La Razza
cuz I also represent me
[Mad One]
So I open up my eyes
I can't be livin in the dark
I gotta be careful
when I take my daughter to the park
Ballios and vallio
and block after block
there's hyperdermic needles
in the children's sandbox
I stop on the rewind
the blancha just hates me
It always amaze me
why they look at me crazy
[Konnan]
When there is no help
and there is no second chance
cuz this chain around my neck
won't let this pedro dance
[Mad One]
Bow wow wow
yippie yo yippie yay
la needles su needles
all day every day
oh how I love it
I just can't just get enough
Mad One and K-Dawg
so what's up doc?
[CHORUS x2]
[Fade out]
Bow wow wow
yippie yo yippie yay
Bow wow wow
