The City of Pasadena Public Works department is nearing completion of a project that will connect Preston Street to Genoa Red Bluff. In the past, Preston Street has always ended at Beltway 8. With this new extension drivers will no longer have to travel the Beltway 8 feeder road to get to Genoa Red Bluff. This project should improve traffic conditions in and around the Preston Street/Genoa Red Bluff area.

Pete doesn't quite know how my minifeeders work: instead of going straight to the feeding port, which in this case is located on the other side of the feeder (located at the top of the bluff with Long Island Sound below), he's going for the traces of nectar that seep from the cap-feeder junction. You can see his brilliant green back. At the end he quickly dives down the bluff to escape possible attack by Fred, who is zealously guarding all his scattered feeders.

Here we see that Pete, the nondominant male hummer at the Baiting Hollow Hummingbird Sanctuary, has figured out how to use his favorite feeder, located at the bluff edge where he can rapidly scoot down to cover. But he still investigates the entire edge of the cap, not convinced yet that the port is the way to go. Notice that as well as uncertain about the way the feeder should be used, he spends much longer at the feeder than Fred does. Fred just liked to quickly sample, just to check that it's a functioning nectar source which he needs to guard. But now I've got quite a few scattered feeders up, and so he's forced to patrol a larger territory, allowing Pete to sneak in.

The geomorphological term feeder bluff is not a standard, widely-accepted geologic term; its use has been limited to the Puget Sound region. The concept was apparently first discussed at Western Washington University. The term feeder bluff has been applied to certain coastal cliffs or headlands that provide sediment to beaches down current as the result of wave action on the bluff.
A bluff will be more susceptible to erosion if the sediment is unconsolidated, and more resistant in crystalline rocks, like granite. Rocks that are heavily fractured are also very likely to suffer from erosion because the water can flow between the cracks to speed up the process. A bluff will retreat towards land as the erosion processes continue.
The term has not been extensively researched; specific criteria have not been developed to distinguish "feeder bluffs" from other types of bluffs; and quantities and rates of sediment supply to beaches and the littoral drift are unspecified and unknown. The overall contribution of "feeder bluffs" to beach processes, unlike the well-researched effects of sediment from rivers, is still undetermined.

Feeder are an alternative rock band from Newport, Wales, formed in 1991. Feeder's line-up from 1994 had consisted of founding members vocalist and guitarist Grant Nicholas alongside drummer Jon Lee, before the line-up was later completed with bassist Taka Hirose. The band had previously employed Simon Blight from Raindancer, a previous Feeder incarnation. On January 7, 2002 Jon took his own life in his Miami home, which saw the band keep out of the public eye for the rest of the year until August, when they made their live return with then former Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson, who also recorded with the band. In May 2009, Mark parted company with Feeder to return to a reformed Skunk Anansie, before Karl Brazil took over as the band's studio and live drummer. Although the band have also employed Damon Wilson and former Mexicolas member Tim Trotter for live duties, Tim has recorded with the band on occasions.
Feeder first attracted national attention with the 2001 album Echo Park, due to the popularity and frequent airplay of its lead and UK top 5 single "Buck Rogers", although the band had released two albums before this being Polythene (1997) and Yesterday Went Too Soon (1999). Feeder's overall mainstream success is seen as moderate in comparison to their peers, but have seen very positive critical reviews for their early work, which includes a perfect 10/10 score for Yesterday Went Too Soon by Metal Hammer magazine. Two years previously Polythene was their album of the year, while in November 2004 Kerrang!'s writers have also approved of "Buck Rogers" as one of their "666 Songs You Must Own". Feeder's chart successes up until the end of 2006, enabled them to become one of the most successful UK chart acts between 1952-2006 based on the ranking system used in the now defunct Guinness publication British Hit Singles & Albums. Total combined domestic sales from all their albums that have been certified at least gold, currently stands at over 1.5 million.

Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by the stage name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper. He released his debut album, Show and Prove, in 2006, and signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2007. His Eurodance-influenced single, "Say Yeah", received urban radio airplay, charting on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks charts in 2008. Khalifa parted with Warner Bros. and released his second album, Deal or No Deal, in November 2009. He released the mixtape Kush and Orange Juice as a free download in April 2010; he then signed with Atlantic Records. He is also well known for his debut single for Atlantic, "Black and Yellow", which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Khalifa was born on September 8, 1987 to a mother and a father serving in the military. His parents divorced when Khalifa was about three years old. His parents' military service caused him to move regularly: Khalifa lived in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan before settling in Pittsburgh where he attended Taylor Allderdice High School.

Fred, the dominant male hummingbird at the Baiting Hollow sanctuary, is actively monitoring and guarding a large number of feeders scattered over the 3.4 acre property (except on the bluff face). He does this by perching near a feeder, and watching briefly. He then scoots off to another location, where he can watch other feeders. He sometimes quickly samples from the feeder to check that there's nectar. In this video, he starts by perching on a branch, and flicking out his long silvery tongue. Then he briefly darts left, as I start to zoom outand then quickly comes back to his perch. He chooses this and similar perches because he can watch all the activity down in the western valley, part of which you can see as I zoom out. 1080P HD, 2X slo mo.

Pete doesn't quite know how my minifeeders work: instead of going straight to the feeding port, which in this case is located on the other side of the feeder (located at the top of the bluff with Long Island Sound below), he's going for the traces of nectar that seep from the cap-feeder junction. You can see his brilliant green back. At the end he quickly dives down the bluff to escape possible attack by Fred, who is zealously guarding all his scattered feeders. -

MVI 1682 Pete gets the hang of it, in Baiting Hollow
Here we see that Pete, the nondominant male hummer at the Baiting Hollow Hummingbird Sanctuary, has figured out how to use his favorite feeder, located at the bluff edge where he can rapidly scoot down to cover. But he still investigates the entire edge of the cap, not convinced yet that the port is the way to go. Notice that as well as uncertain about the way the feeder should be used, he spends much longer at the feeder than Fred does. Fred just liked to quickly sample, just to check that it's a functioning nectar source which he needs to guard. But now I've got quite a few scattered feeders up, and so he's forced to patrol a larger territory, allowing Pete to sneak in. -

MVI 1696 Fred sticks his tongue out
Fred, the dominant male hummingbird at the Baiting Hollow sanctuary, is actively monitoring and guarding a large number of feeders scattered over the 3.4 acre property (except on the bluff face). He does this by perching near a feeder, and watching briefly. He then scoots off to another location, where he can watch other feeders. He sometimes quickly samples from the feeder to check that there's nectar. In this video, he starts by perching on a branch, and flicking out his long silvery tongue. Then he briefly darts left, as I start to zoom outand then quickly comes back to his perch. He chooses this and similar perches because he can watch all the activity down in the western valley, part of which you can see as I zoom out. 1080P HD, 2X slo mo. -

Pete doesn't quite know how my minifeeders work: instead of going straight to the feeding port, which in this case is located on the other side of the feeder (located at the top of the bluff with Long Island Sound below), he's going for the traces of nectar that seep from the cap-feeder junction. You can see his brilliant green back. At the end he quickly dives down the bluff to escape possible attack by Fred, who is zealously guarding all his scattered feeders.

If you live in the Tehama County area and raise chickens then you should get one of the great automatic chicken feeders to save yourself time and money.
If you have spent time looking after chickens you will have noted that there are two main problems that crop up.
• If you want to get good eggs on a regular basis then you need to feed them a regular supply of grain. This requires you to ensure that they get fed every day or else your egg supply diminishes and they can even go off the lay for some time if they are not fed
• Chickens are incredibly wasteful birds at times and can scatter their feed into the dirt where they scratch and disperse it. They can easily lose a quarter of their food at times by scratching, competition from other critters and getting the food wet.
At times there can be a variety of birds and larger rodents such as rats collecting the pellets or mash you put out for your chickens. You won't see mice and insects unless they creep in at night for chickens will race to gobble down mice and most insects.
Using an automatic chicken feeder allows you to provide grain for your chickens to eat whenever they want and not be tied to having to be home for daily chores every day. You can set up an automatic chicken feeder with a week or more of food for your chickens. Sure you may need more than one if you have a lot of chickens but this saves you an incredible amount of time
Keeping the chickens food in a good quality galvanised chicken feeder separates the grain from contaminating their water supply also. Again this saves you time and effort.
If you look at the bare bones economics of the amount of food your chickens waste then it does not take long to pay off a good chicken feeder with the savings you make on food.

Both men were accounted for in the video. We do not know who or what this is as no one else was there with us. It has a cloth of some sort. The previous August, there were a lot of firefighters in this area. This was shot in October. Perhaps it got the cloth during the fires.
