In "Cooked: A Natural History of Transformation," Michael Pollan explores the previously uncharted territory of his own kitchen. Here, he discovers the enduring power of the four classical elements—fire, water, air, and earth— to transform the stuff of nature into delicious things to eat and drink. Apprenticing himself to a succession of culinary masters, Pollan learns how to grill with fire, cook with liquid, bake bread, and ferment everything from cheese to beer. In the course of his journey, he discovers that the cook occupies a special place in the world, standing squarely between nature and culture. Both realms are transformed by cooking, and so, in the process, is the cook.
Compilation of Cleveland's bathtub(and non-bathtub) mishaps. Oh yeah, and Loretta's gross boobs. All credits go to FOX and Family Guy/Cleveland Show *I also messed up on my editing in a few spots(like at 2:05 was supposed to extend about 7 more seconds), so just ignore that ;) Here is a link to the rest of that clip that was cut out in my other FG video. http://youtu.be/9oXtdx7y39M?t=5m6s

Since 1963, West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind has been Creating Jobs and Changing Lives for the blind and visually impaired. That mission and purpose led us in 2016 to start up LighthouseOfficeSupply.com so that we could promote and hire blind and visually impaired employees to customer service and sales positions. But we didn't only want to make it great for our employees, so we made it great for our customers too: easy shopping, low prices, fantastic customer service, and pretty much everything else you would want in an online store. Try us out and help us make a real difference.

The first in our series of inspiring stories, Lighthouse employee, Marilyn Parsons describes what her life was like before working at the Lighthouse and how her life has changed since.
When the self-proclaimed Mahdi (“Guided One”) gathered Islamic forces and kicked the Anglo-Egyptians out of the Sudan, he unleashed a backlash. With the image of the heroic General Charles Gordon dying at Khartoum, the British public was ready to support a war to reclaim the lost territories. And when the political time was right, a British-Egyptian-Sudanese expedition led by the redoubtable Herbert Kitchener set out to do just that. The river involved was the Nile. For millennia, its annual flood has made habitable a slender strip, though hundreds of miles of deserts, between its tributaries and its delta. Through this desolate region, man and beast struggled to supply the bare essentials of life. Though this same region, the expedition had to find and defeat an enemy several times large...
