Genres: Crime,Look what we've done
with little or none.
Dreams are a bet,
hard work and luck.
Where losers can win,
while winners strike out.
It's part of the game
we play each day.
So much for love
that pays from above.
It starts with a look;
then it walks, then it runs.
Next comes the talks,
the needs and the wants.
So much for love.
Life doesn't ask
your name, your age.
You're here by chance
of failure or fame?
The mirror doesn't lie,
for the truth is inside.
The soul sings the songs
with the lows and the highs.
So much for love
that doesn't give up.
You do not complain
when there's nothing to say.
Here by your side
when others went away.
So much for love.
If you have nothing
you still have a lot.
Ourside is a world
that gives so much.
You are the one
to get the job done.
You can smell it in the air,
on your way to get there.
So much for love
when life won't work out.
Yet, here you still are
alive and with pride.
We can see it on your face,
your style and your grace.
So much for love.
