Doc Carlson
Henry Clifford "Doc" Carlson (July 4, 1894 – November 1, 1964) is a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee as the men's college basketball coach of his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, from 1922 to 1953. At Pitt he compiled a record of 367–247 record (.595). His 1927–28 team finished the season with a 21–0 record and was retroactively named the national champion by the Helms Athletic Foundation and the Premo-Porretta Power Poll; Carlson's Panthers would receive retroactive recognition as the Helms national champion for the 1929–30 season as well. Carlson also led Pitt to the Final Four in 1941. As a student at the university, Carlson was also a First Team All-American end on Pitt's football team under coach "Pop" Warner. Carlson also lettered in basketball and baseball.
Biography
Carlson was born in Murray City, Ohio. He played high school football, basketball, and baseball (1910–1914) at Bellefonte Academy in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. During his undergraduate years at the University of Pittsburgh (1914–1918) he earned three letters in basketball, two in baseball, four in football. He played on the 1916 Pitt football team that is widely regarded as that season's national champion and was selected as an All-American football player while playing for Pitt's undefeated 1917 team.

Andra and The BackBone
Andra and The BackBone is a rock band from Indonesia and the solo project of Andra Ramadhan, guitarist of the band Dewa 19. Ramadhan also formed part of fellow Dewa band member Ahmad Dhani's Ahmad Band project.
In addition to Ramadhan, the band also consists of Deddi Suryadi, Stevie Item.
The band released its self-titled debut album in 2007 on EMI Indonesia. The album was also released in Malaysia but with different artwork.
The album's first single, "Musnah", became a big hit in Indonesia, reaching the top of many national radio playlists. The video clip also received heavy rotation on MTV.

Military Honors for Clifford Carlson
The family of Clifford Carlson has requested the Patriot Guard to pay Honors to this American Hero. It will be our Honor to do so. Clifford was always brought up to be a hard worker and to be a very forgiving individual. He lived hard, and worked hard. Being brought up a Wisconsin farm boy he learned very quickly how to work the land, and how to build things with his hands out of practically nothing. Clifford also learned a lot working in a rock quarry in Milwaukee. Clifford joined the Army Air Corp in Sept. 1942 and was honorably discharged on Sept. 1945. During that time he was assigned to a group of airmen that flew B-24 Liberators. They were based out of Papua New Guinea and fought against the Japanese held islands in the Pacific. The family of Clifford Carlson has requested the Patriot Guard to pay Honors to this American Hero. It will be our Honor to do so.
Clifford was always brought up to be a hard worker and to be a very forgiving individual. He lived hard, and worked hard. Being brought up a Wisconsin farm boy he learned very quickly how to work the land, and how to build things with his hands out of practically nothing. Clifford also learned a lot working in a rock quarry in Milwaukee.
Clifford joined the Army Air Corp in Sept. 1942 and was honorably discharged on Sept. 1945. During that time he was assigned to a group of airmen that flew B-24 Liberators.
They were based out of Papua New Guinea and fought against the Japanese held islands in the Pacific. Clifford was a tail gunner. During one mission while on a bombing run,Clifford's plane was hit with a 90mm round. The round went thru the plane, went from the front of the aircraft and came out the back. It went thru Clifford's rear gun turret, blowing out not only the window that protected Clifford but took the top part of his seat with it. He still carried a part of the sheathing from the shell in a plastic bag up until the day he passed. He always told everyone he met that he had some first class mail delivered to him from Japan while he was en-route to his destination.
Clifford's crew was the only crew that flew 54 missions, had the same plane and never lost a crew member, even thou the plane was shot up numerous times, they always made it home. The name of his plane was the Kay - O... for "Knockout".
I have been, and always will be proud to call Clifford my friend...
Clifford leaves behind his wife Joanne.
