Time Square, full of lights, packed with people an quint-essential big city experience. I am not talking about that Time Square. I am talking about this one. Hong Kong's Time Square. Hong Kong's Time Square may not have the abundance of neon lights of New York's Time Square, however it does rival the one in New York in terms of crowds and activity.
Located in the Cosway Bay area, this is the center of Hong Kong's commercial activity, especially in the evenings. You notice the magnitude of this place as soon as you walk in. This huge building here has major upscale brand outlets, restaurants and offices. On the lower levels the place caters to shopaholics. But only those who are big spenders.
They did not forget the food part here. There are plenty of restaurants on the upper floor. Time Square is more than just this mall. Some might say the real action is outside on the streets. This is where you experience everyday Hong Kong life. This place is absolutely buzzing with energy. There are about a million people here going about their daily activities. This is Rosanna Wilcox, showing you Hong Kong.

The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is the rapid transit railway system in Hong Kong. It is one of the most profitable systems in the world, with a high farebox recovery ratio of 186%.[3] Opened in 1979, the system now includes 218.2 km (135.6 mi) of rail with 152 stations, including 84 railway stations and 68 light rail stops. The MTR system is operated by MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL).
With the high level of daily passenger traffic, facilities of the MTR stations are built with durability and accessibility in mind. After extensive retrofitting, the MTR system has become, in general, disabled-friendly — the trains have dedicated wheelchair space, the stations have special floor tiles to guide the blind safely on the platforms, and there are extra wide entry and exit gates for wheelchairs as well. On board the rolling stock, there are also flashing system maps on select trains while Active Line Diagrams and traditional route maps are installed on the others. Infopanels as well as on Newsline Express TVs onboard trains display important messages such as next station announcements as well as operational messages.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Tsim Sha Tsui is an MTR station on the Tsuen Wan Line. The station, originally opened in 1979 on the Kwun Tong Line, serves the area of Tsim Sha Tsui.
East Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the West Rail Line, opened on 24 October 2004, is connected to this station. The station serves as an interchange station between the Tsuen Wan and West Rail Lines.
Tsim Sha Tsui Station was featured in a brief chase sequence featuring Brigitte Lin in Wong Kar-wai's 1994 film, Chungking Express.
Tsim Sha Tsui Station was also featured in Clifton Ko's 1987 film, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
The Tsuen Wan Line is one of the ten lines of the metro network in Hong Kong's MTR. It is indicated in red on the MTR map.
The Tsuen Wan Line starts at Central station on Hong Kong Island and runs through western Kowloon to the southwestern New Territories, where it ends at Tsuen Wan station. It currently travels through 16 stations in 30 minutes along its route. Because it travels under Victoria Harbour from Central and into the busy areas on Nathan Road (Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei, and Mong Kok) continuing into densely populated Sham Shui Po, it is a very heavily travelled line.

The Octopus card is a reusable contactless stored value smart card for making electronic payments in online or offline systems in Hong Kong. Launched in September 1997 to collect fares for the territory's mass transit system, the Octopus card system is the second contactless smart card system in the world, after the Korean Upass, and has since grown into a widely used payment system for all public transport in Hong Kong, leading to the development of Oyster Card in London.
The Octopus has also grown to be used for payment in many retail shops in Hong Kong, from convenience stores, supermarkets, fast-food restaurants, on-street parking meters, car parks, to other point-of-sale applications such as service stations and vending machines.

Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially known as Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is a region on the southern coast of China geographically enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour, and with a land mass of 1,104 km2 (426 sq mi) and a population of over seven million people, is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
Hong Kong was established as a colony of the British Empire after the First Opium War (1839–42). Hong Kong Island was first ceded in perpetuity to Great Britain, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and then the New Territories were put under lease in 1898.
As a result of the negotiations and the 1984 agreement between China and Britain, Hong Kong was handed over to the People's Republic of China and became its first Special Administrative Region on 1 July 1997, under the principle of "one country, two systems" (the other special region, Macau, attained that status when Portugal handed it over in December 1999).
