Allmyapps is an application store for Microsoft Windows. The service allows users to install, update and organize 1,500 desktop applications.

Allmypps developed an application manager for Ubuntu before entering Microsoft's IDEEs program and receiving 1 million euro from Elaia Partners in 2010.^[2]^[3] The company launched the first Windows application store as a beta version at LeWeb in December 2010, for which it won the Startup Pich competition.^[4]

In December 2011, Allmyapps announced 2.5 millions registered users ^[5]

Allmyapps supports the Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems.

The service lets users initiate the installation of applications from its website and from its desktop client. The desktop client can detects software already installed on the computer in order to update them via the application store and to save the list online as a backup.

Are there any trustworthy sources for downloading software?

Phil got caught by some crapware bundled with a Windows program from Download.com. What are some alternative sources? ... Photograph. Wellness GM/flickr. Jack Schofield. Thursday 29 January 2015 10.20 GMT ... It isn’t ... Phil ... There are also some independent stores, such as Ninite and AllMyApps ... As far as I know, they still are trustworthy, but both use downloaders, and I can no longer see how to download individual programs from AllMyApps ... Topics ... ....

I enjoyed your article about buying a Dell Vostro as a good, no-nonsense option, and I am thinking of doing that to replace an old Dell Dimension E520 ... Richard Lynas ... You'll probably need the version from here ... ....
