In the near future, the capital of Sweden has turned into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. We join four soldiers on a routine mission in ‘Zone 3’, with the assignment to investigate an old surveillance tower that just went offline. That’s the setting in first-time director Andrée Wallin’s short film, who also wrote and production designed it.
Produced by Claire Fleming, the film was shot in London with an international cast, while all exteriors were shot in Stockholm. The VFX is done by Bläck (blackstudios.se)

Daniel struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, while coping with the loss of everything he once knew and loved.
- (PLEASE READ *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*) We worked on this film as high school seniors with the intent of it being our very first feature length film back in 2011. It was made with a non existent budget, and we did what we could with what we had. Several times the production came to a halt and then picked back up once again, until it finally came to an end completely. We didn't get to shoot roughly 1/3 of the film, but I was able to salvage what we had shot in order to create it into what you see here. Some scenes had to be moved around, while some were never finished and had to be cut. So if you notice some inconsistencies or continuity errors that's most likely why, but we figured it was better to make due with what we had shot instead of the project going to waste completely.
Many have been asking about the ending, what truly happened, and whether or not there will be a sequel. Unfortunately, the answer is no. At least not with the same cast due to the main actor moving and losing contact with him. We may one day try to rework the script and reshoot it but I do not wish to make any false promises. We are currently working on a post-apocalyptic series that may share some similarities with this film due to us not thinking this was ever going to see the light of day at the beginning of shooting. We wish to have some of it release by summers end, so if you would like to see that please consider subscribing.
As for the ending, we realize now that the ending can be and has been taken many different ways by many people, which is totally fine with us.

Jewish apocalypticism holds a doctrine that there are two eras of history: the present era, which is ruled over by evil, and a coming era to be ruled over by God. At the time of the coming era, there will be a messiah who will deliver the faithful into the new era. Due to incidents arising very early on in Jewish history, predictions about the time of the coming of the Jewish messiah were highly discouraged, lest people lose faith when the predictions did not come true during the lifespan of the believer.

Daniel struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, while coping with the loss of everything he once knew and loved. - (PLEASE READ *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*) We worked on this film as high school seniors with the intent of it being our very first feature length film back in 2011. It was made with a non existent budget, and we did what we could with what we had. Several times the production came to a halt and then picked back up once again, until it finally came to an end completely. We didn't get to shoot roughly 1/3 of the film, but I was able to salvage what we had shot in order to create it into what you see here. Some scenes had to be moved around, while some were never finished and had to be cut. So if you notice some inconsistencies or continuity errors that's most likely why, but we figured it was better to make due with what we had shot instead of the project going to waste completely. Many have been asking about the ending, what truly happened, and whether or not there will be a sequel. Unfortunately, the answer is no. At least not with the same cast due to the main actor moving and losing contact with him. We may one day try to rework the script and reshoot it but I do not wish to make any false promises. We are currently working on a post-apocalyptic series that may share some similarities with this film due to us not thinking this was ever going to see the light of day at the beginning of shooting. We wish to have some of it release by summers end, so if you would like to see that please consider subscribing. As for the ending, we realize now that the ending can be and has been taken many different ways by many people, which is totally fine with us. -

Called “Earthships” - brainchild of architect Mike Reynolds in the 1970s- they’re nearly completely self-sufficient homes: no electrical grid, no water lines, no sewer. The Greater World Earthship Community, about 70 passive solar homes built from earth and trash on 633 acres, had a rough start; they were shut down as an illegal subdivision in 1997 and it took them 7 years to come to compliance. Though today, the county fully cooperates with Reynolds and his Earthship Biotecture operation to turn trash (tires, cans, glass bottles) into shelters and has even given them 2 acres to experiment with housing in anyway they like (they also provide their recycling). Sixteen years ago, Tom Duke had just finished over a decade on the pro volleyball circuit when he bought a bit of land here with his wife and began to build a tiny Earthship the size of a storage shed. When their first son was born they built their dream house on the property, a two bedroom that, like other Earthships, collects rainwater, uses its water four times (the plants in the indoor greenhouse filter the greywater) and even processes its own sewage. In this video, Tom takes us on a tour of his home, his original “Earthship survival pod”, the “nest” ($50,000 studio apartment), the “Simple Survival Earthship” (aimed mainly at the developing world), a custom home designed to feed a family of four (including a tilapia pond in the greenhouse) and the “BMW of Earthships”, the “Global" (aimed at the typical American family). Daniel struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, while coping with the loss of everything he once knew and loved. - (PLEASE READ *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*) We worked on this film as high school seniors with the intent of it being our very first feature length film back in 2011. It was made with a non existent budget, and we did what we could with what we had. Several times the production came to a halt and then picked back up once again, until it finally came to an end completely. We didn't get to shoot roughly 1/3 of the film, but I was able to salvage what we had shot in order to create it into what you see here. Daniel struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, while coping with the loss of everything he once knew and loved.
- (PLEASE READ *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*) We worked on this film as high school seniors with the intent of it being our very first feature length film back in 2011. It was made with a non existent budget, and we did what we could with what we had. Several times the production came to a halt and then picked back up once again, until it finally came to an end completely. We didn't get to shoot roughly 1/3 of the film, but I was able to salvage what we had shot in order to create it into what you see here. Some scenes had to be moved around, while some were never finished and had to be cut. So if you notice some inconsistencies or continuity errors that's most likely why, but we figured it was better to make due with what we had shot instead of the project going to waste completely.
Many have been asking about the ending, what truly happened, and whether or not there will be a sequel. Unfortunately, the answer is no. At least not with the same cast due to the main actor moving and losing contact with him. We may one day try to rework the script and reshoot it but I do not wish to make any false promises. We are currently working on a post-apocalyptic series that may share some similarities with this film due to us not thinking this was ever going to see the light of day at the beginning of shooting. We wish to have some of it release by summers end, so if you would like to see that please consider subscribing.
As for the ending, we realize now that the ending can be and has been taken many different ways by many people, which is totally fine with us.

On the desert mesa of New Mexico, miles from the nearest town of Taos (pop. 5,700), Star-Wars-like shelters rise from the earth, half-buried and covered in adobe. Called “Earthships” - brainchild of architect Mike Reynolds in the 1970s- they’re nearly completely self-sufficient homes: no electrical grid, no water lines, no sewer.
The Greater World Earthship Community, about 70 passive solar homes built from earth and trash on 633 acres, had a rough start; they were shut down as an illegal subdivision in 1997 and it took them 7 years to come to compliance. Though today, the county fully cooperates with Reynolds and his Earthship Biotecture operation to turn trash (tires, cans, glass bottles) into shelters and has even given them 2 acres to experiment with housing in anyway they like (they also provide their recycling).
Sixteen years ago, Tom Duke had just finished over a decade on the pro volleyball circuit when he bought a bit of land here with his wife and began to build a tiny Earthship the size of a storage shed. When their first son was born they built their dream house on the property, a two bedroom that, like other Earthships, collects rainwater, uses its water four times (the plants in the indoor greenhouse filter the greywater) and even processes its own sewage.
In this video, Tom takes us on a tour of his home, his original “Earthship survival pod”, the “nest” ($50,000 studio apartment), the “Simple Survival Earthship” (aimed mainly at the developing world), a custom home designed to feed a family of four (including a tilapia pond in the greenhouse) and the “BMW of Earthships”, the “Global" (aimed at the typical American family).

When their first son was born they built their dream house on the property, a two bedroom that, like other Earthships, collects rainwater, uses its water four times (the plants in the indoor greenhouse filter the greywater) and even processes its own sewage.
In this video, Tom takes us on a tour of his home, his original “Earthship survival pod”, the “nest” ($50,000 studio apartment), the “Simple Survival Earthship” (aimed mainly at the developing world), a custom home designed to feed a family of four (including a tilapia pond in the greenhouse) and the “BMW of Earthships”, the “Global" (aimed at the typical American family).

Carbon dioxide making earth greener, reveals new research

NEW DELHI. The earth is getting greener because of higher carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere, new research shows. Observations by Nasa satellites over the past 33 years show that there has been a steady increase in leaves on plants and trees, which scientists think is because of the higher CO2 levels. Leaves absorb CO2 and combine it with water to produce food for the plants ... It is the chief culprit of climate change ... ....
