Sunday 18 September 2016, 2.15 kick off on a mild autumnal day. We win easily but where oh where is Alice?! Stoke are rooted to the bottom of the table and it all goes wrong for them. We get two quick scrambled goals from corners, another from a deflected shot by McArthur and a fine goal from Townsend, but we concede right at the end. 4–1.
13 August 2016. A sunny Saturday afternoon, our first game of the season, but it doesn't feel very fresh, except for Alice's fine new dance. We look bereft of ideas and are perhaps seeing some of our pivotal players for the last time (Bolasie and Jedinak?). WBA use a double pronged attack - of resurrecting the Berlin Wall of 55 years ago and of sending our players to sleep. They score late on from a free kick near the corner flag and we lose 0–1. SuperAl receives some boos at the end of the match.
Saturday 9 April 2016, a bright blustery April day. We desperately needed a win. Alice was on her knees and with the help of Eddie Wizard and George Clooney (?) we snaffled the 3 points with a transcendent Jason Puncheon goal against a neat'n'snappy Norwich side. We win 1–0 but hope Norwich stay up.
Saturday 19 March 2016. A dull afternoon, but hope springs eternal (for 34 minutes). The league leaders look crisp, confident and energetic, though we manage to hold them to a 0–1 win ....
2 February 2016. A cold Tuesday evening and our dismal run continues, but the Bournemouth fans are buoyant - "We are staying up" and "We'll keep the red flag flying here". Oh well, good for them, hope we're staying up too! Adebayor makes his debut but we lose 1–2.
I just started started recording a concert I went to. It was a great one though. Alice Cooper - he's a real theatrical guy, ain't he? Anyway, the video is just a set of clips I stitched together - my phone camera can only record for a time before stopping. I think it's because the sensor overheats if it's on for too long. Anyway, yeah, was a good concert.

A place of power's rising
A place so deep within
In that stormy night when I came in
The fence that penned me in
In times when my heart tried to flee
From the serpent camouflage's melody
[pre-chorus]
The corridors I'm walking the walls point waits at me
The pictures in their ancient frames
Have eyes but will not see
[chorus]
One silent scream
Came straight into my dream am I still here in these
Unwritten pages of stories
The spoken word
Is often quite unheard
In this old gallery
Of splendid unbroken memory
I can hear
The palace in your heart will grow
Uncovered the rivers will flow
Plastic balls of forlorn memories
Rolling on and on
For one more wish you're yearning and they're gone
The valleys of your soul
They still can let the light shine in
The symmetry of your heart grows within
[pre-chorus]
The mourning hours are history
In my enchanted land
The belfry dies away down here
The road shall have no end
[chorus]
For years I've tried to feel
For years I've turned the wheel
For all that's said and done it is so clear
The crystal moments shine above eternal nights of fearin' here
