What I carry on a everyday basis at work. Belt does not weigh much. It does change here and there as I replace worn pouches, or newer, lighter gear comes out on the market. Word of advice to all new CO's. You will not find the perfect belt setup right away. Play with pouches and setups, give it about 2 weeks, then change it. It took me 3 and a half years to finally get a setup that I love.

In criminal justice, particularly in North America, correction, corrections, and correctional, are umbrella terms describing a variety of functions typically carried out by government agencies, and involving the punishment, treatment, and supervision of persons who have been convicted of crimes. These functions commonly include imprisonment, parole and probation. A typical correctional institution is a prison. A correctional system, also known as a penal system, thus refers to a network of agencies that administer a jurisdiction's prisons and community-based programs like parole and probation boards; this system is part of the larger criminal justice system, which additionally includes police, prosecution and courts. Jurisdictions throughout Canada and the US have ministries or departments, respectively, of corrections, correctional services, or similarly named agencies.
Corrections is also the name of a field of academic study concerned with the theories, polices, and programs pertaining to the practice of corrections. Its object of study includes personnel training and management as well as the experiences of those on the other side of the fence — the unwilling subjects of the correctional process. Stohr and colleagues write that "Earlier scholars were more honest, calling what we now call corrections by the name penology, which means the study of punishment for crime."

William Leonard Roberts II (born January 28, 1976), better known by his stage name Rick Ross (often stylized as RICK RO$$), is an American rapper. He derived his stage name from the drug trafficker "Freeway" Ricky Ross, to whom he has no connection. Ross founded the record label Maybach Music Group, on which he released his studio albums Deeper Than Rap and Teflon Don, Ross was also the first artist signed to Diddy's management company Ciroc Entertainment. In early 2012, MTV named Ross as the Hottest MC In The Game.
William Leonard Roberts II was born in Coahoma County, Mississippi. and raised in Carol City, Florida, near Miami. After graduating from Carol City Senior High School, he later attended the historically black college Albany State University on a football scholarship.
After being signed to Suave House Records, former label for rap duo 8Ball & MJG, he eventually signed a deal with Slip-n-Slide Records, which has been under the Def Jam umbrella since 2006. While signed to Slip-n-Slide, Ross toured with fellow rapper Trick Daddy and made guest performances on other Slip-n-Slide albums.

When a photograph of Rick Ross as a correctional officer was revealed in 2008, the rapper said it was likely altered and that "online hackers" placed his face on another man's body. Eventually, however, his past as a CO was verified by the rapper.
Ross appears to address this matter on Mastermind. "Feds tore the crew apart," Ross raps on the "Rich Is Gangsta." "That's why I had to play my part, nigga / That wasn't me, it was just a job, nigga."
"That particular line most definitely referred to me being a CO," Ross says in a recent MTV interview.
His past as a CO is not one he would change, the rapper says.
"I wouldn't change nothing 'cause to me it's about who Rozay is," Ross says. "It's about me. Anywhere I go, when I step in the room, I put it down. People know it's authentic right here. They know it's real. So it was nothing that I was personally threatened with. I was just ready to move on. Let's go get this money. Let's make this music.
"And right now, to feed my family, I'd do it again," Ross continues. "To feed my kids, I'd go get it. We gon' get it. My whole team gon' go get it. We gon' win. And that's with everything we ever did. I been winning, though."

Alabama Prison Uprising Leads To Stabbing Of Warden
Hours after a violent uprising left two prison officials injured, a prison in southern Alabama that serves as the state's only execution facility was on lockdown Saturday. Alabama Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Horton said the prison warden and a corrections officer were stabbed in the uprising at one of the dormitories at the William C. It's unclear what time the unrest started. Repeated efforts to reach prison officials for comment were unsuccessful. Correctional officers who answered the phone said they were too busy to talk. After a violent riot broke out at the facility, a southern Alabama prison was locked down late on Friday night. Alabama Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Horton said the warden and a corrections officer were stabbed after prisoners tried to take control of one of the dormitories at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in southern Alabama, just outside of Atmore. Their injuries were not life-threatening. Images and videos shared from inside the building show fires burning and inmates moving freely around the prison's dormitories.

It's unclear what time the unrest started. Repeated efforts to reach prison officials for comment were unsuccessful. Correctional officers who answered the phone said they were too busy to talk. The warden at Holman is Carter Davenport.
Atmore police said they were "not at liberty to discuss" the situation, and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office in Alabama said there was a "riot" and the inmates were "contained" but no additional information was immediately available.
Photos and video of the reported uprising have surfaced on social media. The images show fires at the prison, and inmates with their faces covered. Inmates are reporting that the "gates are rolled up" and beds have been overturned.
One man posted this on Facebook: "Attention: We need yall help here at Holman Correction Facility Prison. The police down here beating on and jus treating us any kind way. We down here fighting for are lifes. Please contact the News, Newspaper, Radio station. NCAAP. Help please."
Zannice Houston posted this on her Facebook page: "Please pray for my son in Holman Prison. A riot lord Jesus."
Houston told AL.com that her son, Jamario J.E. Houston, called via collect call two hours ago and said that prisoners have built a wall, and they are waiting for more authorities to come to the prison. "Yes, right now it's not under control, Lord Jesus," Houston said. She said she hasn't heard from her son since then.
Another woman posted this: "I know its late. But i need help from my family and friends especially from my Sister and Brothers in Christ. I need Prayers to go up for Holman Prison the inmates the guard everyone down there in that facility. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Thank You!!!!!!"

The William C. Holman Correctional Facility was constructed in 1968 and 1969. The facility was officially open in December, 1969, at a cost of five million dollars. The first prisoner was received on December 15, 1969.
Holman Correctional Facility houses Death Row inmates and is the only facility in the state that carries out executions. Additional housing of Death Row inmates is located at the William C. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Jefferson County.
The present population of Holman consists of minimum through closed custody inmates, including life without parole and Death Row inmates, according to the Department of Corrections website. The living quarters have a total capacity of 998 available beds. There are 630 population beds with Housing Units A-D having a capacity of 114 each and Housing Unit E with a capacity of 174. There are 7 infirmary beds. There are 200 segregation unit beds and Death Row has a capacity of 194 for a total of 1031 beds.
Holman is located ten miles north of Atmore, Alabama, just east of Highway 21 on Ross Road. The perimeter of the security compound is surrounded by two fences. The inner fence is taut wire fence with the outer fence being chain link. The compound has six towers and two perimeter vehicles, which operate twenty four hours a day. During the hours of darkness, the perimeter is fully lighted, according to the website.

Community corrections researchers and practitioners face many barriers when trying to implement evidence-based programs and practices in the field. This webinar offers some practical strategies for improving the implementation process and achieving better program results. James Bonta describes the efforts of the research team at Public Safety Canada to develop the Strategic Training Initiative in Community Supervision (STICS) model and the large-scale, systematic steps taken to help ensure successful implementation of the program. STICS focuses on the role of probation officers, and works to improve the effectiveness of their day-to-day interactions with offenders. Kimberly Sperber discusses risk-based dosage, or how much treatment is required to impact recidivism of offenders. Knowing that high-risk offenders should receive more services and supervision is not the same as knowing how much more services and supervision are needed to yield the maximum reductions in recidivism. Practitioners too often have little guidance on "how much is enough," which can hinder adherence to the principles of effective correctional intervention.

In regards to the crime wave in Europe, this video is not meant to awaken hate in you towards any group of people (even the worst ones need help, not hate), just on the opposite, the MAIN victims of these crimes are the genuine war refugees (there are such amongst the immigrants)
this crime wave has nothing to do with islam (muslim religion is the one the strictest punishments for crimes!), the people who tell you to tolerate these crimes under the flag of “religious” tolerance are simply looking for an excuse to encourage crime. that is why they hide information about the extent of crimes, because if it is revealed more people will fugure out that the immigrant exodus has nothing to
do with protecting innocent people, but just the opposite, it organises the expansion of the areas affected by the horrors of bloody crimes.
this crimes information is suppressed the mass media under the excuse that it will cause islamofobia. but in reality Prophet Mohammad appeared to give laws against crime. so if they really wanted to protect islam they should be prosecuting the criminals instead of hiding them. actually encouraging crime by hiding it is dishonouring ALL the religions of goodness (christianity, buddsism, islam, etc) as condemning crimes is an universal value, it does not copyrighted by a single religion. the people who mistakenly connect the crime publicity suppression with islamofobia, not only consent to tolerating crime, but also help spreading dangerous misconceptions about all religions. those misconception in their turn will perpetuate the bloody crimes in future.

Although I do encourage voting, still it will be very hard to find the best option to vote for mainly because most political parties simply lie and even if their manifesto seems ok there is no guarantee that they will do the promised.
Still wherever honest party is not avilable I urge to vote for the smallest of all evils … which as of my opinion would be those who are likely to take practical steps(this is different from flowery talk) about 1. reducing the war budget,
2. making a country independent of international organisations 3. banning GMO 4. reducing the harmful medicine/vaccines poisoning (humanity is in such a deep ignorance that at this point we can’t
even have the option to vote for return to the natural non_poisonous medicine!!! and we have to be content if no new poisons are being made compulsory… MY GOD!!!)
