I did not have a drink and was simply waiting for my friend in the bathroom. Some of what I am saying is incorrect but when the camera went on the BPD officers both completely changed their attitude.

http://www.vladtv.com - A Seattle man reached a settlement with the city’s police department after a group of cops were caught using excessive force during an unlawful arrest.
According to Seattle Pi, Isaac Ocak was brutally beaten by four cops in 2010. Ocak was driving his girlfriend’s car at the time when police pulled him over in West Seattle’s Westwood Village shopping mall.
After police demanded the then 23-year-old to call his girlfriend to solidify his story, he was was choked and punched in the face several times by the officers. At the time of the arrest, the officers claimed Ocak tried to harm them and was charged with “contempt of cop” and fourth-degree assault.
Dashcam footage proved the SPD wrong and the city dropped the charges. Ocak was awarded $70,000 last month and the men remained on the force. The Seattle native believes the officers aren’t aware or might not even care that they did anything wrong.
“I do not believe the officers involved regret their actions,” Ocak said. “They may feel bad for the consequences they caused the city and how their image looks but they do not regret specifically what they did to me.”
He also says how troubling it is to be reminded everyday by people in his community about the incident.
“Since this event I have tried to move and put it all behind me however it is sometimes difficult when I get called out in my community as ‘the guy that got beat up by the police,” he said.
“It's also difficult to see the same four officers still patrolling my neighborhood and not knowing what could happen if one of them ever detains me and they choose to leave video off.”

Chandler officer 'illegally' enters woman's home, arrests her while she is naked.
A woman handcuffed naked by a Chandler police officer who entered her home illegally is planning to file a lawsuit against the city.
“I felt helpless. I felt violated. And honestly, I felt molested,” said Esmeralda Rossi.
Chandler Police launched an internal investigation after the incident. One of the officers involved retired in the middle of that investigation.
Police arrived at Rossi’s home after receiving a call about an argument between her and her estranged husband.
“I was in the shower,” Rossi said. “My daughter came to the shower and said there are two officers at the door. So I just grabbed a towel.”
When she answered the door, there were two Chandler Police officers. One of those officers was Doug Rose.
Rossi said Rose became very aggressive and she told him to wait at the door so she could go get a cell phone.
“It made me very uncomfortable,” Rossi said. “So I closed the door. I turn to go into my living room, and I probably get about five steps in; and all of a sudden, I just hear boots running in after me, telling me stop or I’ll arrest you.”
At that point, both Rossi and her daughter begin recording. That’s when things turned south.
WATCH WHAT HAPPENS IN THE VIDEO ABOVE.
“This was not the proper treatment of a citizen,” said Marc Victor, Rossi’s attorney. “This was disgusting. This was barbaric.”
Police records show that investigators believed Rossi was trying to agitate Rose.
Rossi also admits she took an attitude with the officer after he illegally entered her home.
“Any one of us would be upset if a police officer barged into our homes without permission,” Victor said. “She had a right to be upset.”
READ THE CHANDLER POLICE INTERNAL INVESTIGATION
The cell phone video was influential evidence in the internal investigation. Unedited copies were provided to ABC15 by Rossi and her attorney.
Rossi was never charged with a crime, records show.
After reviewing the incident, Chandler Police internal investigators determined Rose entered the home illegally and without probable cause. The investigation also determined that Rose didn’t document arresting or un-arresting the woman or the fact that she was naked.
There was also no video from his body camera for the call, records show.
After the incident, the other officer involved immediately contacted his supervisor to raise questions about Rose’s actions. The second officer was cleared of wrongdoing.
Chandler Police declined to comment, citing the potential lawsuit. Rose also didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Last night me and a friend walked up on two squad cars pulling over a young Muslim couple. As we approached we heard one of the officers, a woman, yell at the woman suspect to, "shut up, bitch. Go back to your own city." We immediately started filming with our phones, at which point they told us they were holding the couple as shooting suspects and that we should be thanking them.
After conferring for a moment, they turned their flashlights and squad car lights onto us to block our ability to film. At one point the female officer asked "oh, this is because we're white, right?" to which I responded that so was one of the people filming. As we continued to film, it became apparent that the couple had done nothing wrong and were told to go home, at which point the woman burst into angry tears, claiming she had been disrespected and done nothing wrong. The female officer called her a bitch again and everyone began to depart. The officers refused to give me a badge number or name before driving off, telling me to find better things to do. All of this is on film.
I contacted the police with one of the two squad car numbers and the disinterested, aloof dispatcher informed me that an email would be sent to the Sargent at some point. In other words, nothing was going to happen.
I've been harassed by police at my employment for Facebook posts in the past, and pulled over multiple times for having "a resemblance to a carjacking suspect" which usually just means running my license for priors and letting me go if nothing comes up.
I don't know what to do with the video, I don't know what to do with the fact that my complaint probably won't reach anyone who cares or could call the officers out. I don't know what the next step is or even if there is one. But I do know that having a faceless, unchecked set of bullies with the support of tax payer money wandering the streets calling innocent citizens bitches and refusing to identify themselves is about as lawless as you can get. Turns out only one group of people in that situation had guns and they weren't the ones that subjected their names or identification to scrutiny.

A man who pleaded guilty to stealing is suing Kansas City police, claiming they used excessive force in arresting him.
Manuel Palacio, 24, alleges that officers kneed him in the back, beat him in the ribs and made verbal threats during the arrest on the morning of May 2, 2014, at Independence and East Cypress avenues.
The lawsuit names Officers Shannon Hansen and Jacob Harris and Sgt. Todd Hall. Hansen is no longer with the department. According to a court record and a police statement, Harris and Hall are on administrative assignments during a criminal investigation.
Palacio matched the description of a suspect in a reported armed street robbery when police spotted him. A dashcam video shows police driving onto the sidewalk and striking Palacio with the vehicle before an officer gets out with his gun drawn. Placio complies with an order to get on the ground and police handcuff him.
“Defendant Officer Harris then told Plaintiff not to say another word, and if Plaintiff did, he was ‘going to the hospital,’ ” according to the lawsuit.
“Defendant Officer Hansen then yelled at Plaintiff that Hansen was giving the alleged (robbery) victim ‘your address, and you mom’s (expletive) address and everybody’s address that you know and I hope his family comes over and takes a (expletive) ball bat to your (expletive) head, mother (expletive).”
The suit contends Palacio did not resist arrest and was unarmed.
The police department issued a terse response.
“The department became aware of a possible case of police misconduct several weeks ago,” the statement said. “KCPD immediately initiated a criminal investigation, and it is ongoing at this time.”
According to court documents in the criminal case against Palacio, the police department gave the video to his attorney in April. The prosecutor’s office did not view it until September. When it did, the office advised the police department that it warranted an investigation. Police advised prosecutors on Oct. 5 that the department was investigating the matter.
That same day the state asked the court to seal the video, but Palacio pleaded guilty to one count of stealing before the court ruled on that motion. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS read http://policecrimes.com/police.html - To the Police: You Are NOT the Enemy (Unless You Choose to Be.) The Supreme Court recommends you DON'T talk to police officers, but you must say out loud "I'M GOING TO REMAIN SILENT."
