http://tidyurl.com/trainingmeetstu Overheard On A Saltmarsh is a poem that describes and conversation between and nymph and a goblin, who really wants the green glass beads that belong to the nymph, but she will not let him have them. Overheard On A Saltmarsh bring back many childhood memories, because my Mother loved poetry and would often read to me and my sisters and we quite enjoyed this. In the 1970s when I was growing up I am not sure just how common this was - if you shared this experience or similar please comment in the box below this blog. Because my Mother loved poetry and read it so well my older sister Debbie called her 'Poem Teeth' and we often heard this said around the time we were going to hear another poem.
