Richard Kline (born April 29, 1944) is an American actor and television director. He is best known for his role of Larry Dallas on the ABC sitcom Three's Company.
Richard Kline was born in New York City. He was raised in Queens by parents who practiced Reform Judaism. He attended Queens College and has a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater from Northwestern University. After he graduated, he served with the United States Army in the Vietnam War.
Kline became involved in theater and made his professional debut in 1971 as part of the Lincoln Center Repertory Company. Regional theater productions during this period included Chemin de Fer (in Chicago with actor Dennis Franz), Death of a Salesman, and Love's Labour's Lost. A classically trained singer, Kline made his Broadway career debut in City of Angels, a musical (1990).
In addition to his television and big screen appearances, Kline has hosted two game show pilots, Jumble in 1988 and To Tell the Truth in 1990. The show's rights were then sold to NBC with Gordon Elliott, then Lynn Swann and Alex Trebek later hosting. Kline's TTTT pilot did air on the East Coast as a mistake on September 3, 1990, the day the show debuted. He also subbed for Charles Nelson Reilly as a guest panelist on Sweethearts for a week of shows in December 1988. His game show celebrity appearances included both The $25,000 and $100,000 Pyramid, Super Password, All New All-Star Beat the Clock, and Body Language. Kline also won $10,000 on The $10,000 Pyramid as a civilian contestant in 1974. Kline told SitcomsOnline.com he would like to compete on Jeopardy!.
Three's Company is an American sitcom television series that aired eight seasons from March 15, 1977, to September 18, 1984, on ABC. It is based on the British sitcom Man About the House.
The story revolves around three single roommates: Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt), Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers), and Jack Tripper (John Ritter), who all platonically live together in a Santa Monica, California, apartment building owned by Stanley and Helen Roper. Following Somers' departure, Jenilee Harrison joined the cast as Cindy Snow, who was soon replaced by Priscilla Barnes as Terri Alden. After the Ropers left the series for their own sitcom, Don Knotts joined the cast as the roommates' new landlord Ralph Furley.
The show, a comedy of errors, chronicles the escapades and hijinks of the trio's constant misunderstandings, social lives, and financial struggles, such as keeping the rent current, living arrangements and breakout characters. A top ten hit from 1977 to 1983, the series has remained popular in syndication and through DVD releases.

"Richard" is a common name in many Germanic languages, including English, German, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Icelandic, and Dutch. It can also be used as a French, Hungarian, Finnish, and Estonian name.

Plot: 'Three's Company', the comedy centered on two attractive, young women who made the rent on their Santa Monica beach-side apartment by taking in a third roommate - a male forced to pretend he's gay to fool the landlords and the girls' parents. The series rocketed in the ratings as an instant hit - despite the outcry of critics and moralists - who objected to the double-entendres and quasi-sexual hijinks on the show. However, the true behind-the-scenes story of 'Three's Company' will expose a once idyllic workplace that deteriorated into a battleground beset by business dealings, contact disputes, cast rivalries, clashes between producers and network executives and finally, a round of cast replacements which hastened the demise of the show.

The fabulous Joyce DeWitt, Richard Kline, Priscilla Barnes and Jenilee Harrison having some fun and posing for a photo op at the Hollywood Show in Chicago. Ironically, 1 day before the 13th anniversary of John Ritter's death. As always, it's good to see this talented cast reunited! On a funny note, at one point Jenilee left and came back at a point later and tripped and almost fell, leaving me to shout out "Clumsy Cindy"...It would have been hilarious if she knocked down the backdrop in that instant.

As with "Silver Bullet", my other S4 upload (the only other one as of now, but more are forthcoming!), this is actually from the rare US set. Rare because it was released as a standalone season DVD until it was largely removed from the market to be put in the Complete Series set only. (Thanks, eBay!) You'll notice this has the previews. For the record, the German DVDs also have those, but they can be viewed or omitted, and my DVD ripper must like omitting them! Also of note, I also - for completeness - now have the German S4, too - but this was the set easiest to get to right now. And since there doesn't seem to be any real difference musically unlike other seasons... Anyway, this episode features Dann Florek, who would, just three years after this, go on to a very different cop show, on ...

Suburban housewife Barbara Eden is the prime suspect when her husband is murdered. Shortly afterward, Eden's best friend turns up dead-and this time she's arrested.
