After a day of ultimate stress Joy finally decides to finish off all his paperwork and stand proud in front of his partners for a board meeting that will definitely change his life. Almost after 5 hours of the firing incident, the final two hours in the office is a stressful event. The real time depiction of the horrific time spent by JOY at the empty office filled with the curse of people who have been recently fired is the crux of the film FIRED. It's a supernatural influence that keeps JOY haunted in his own empty office, and also the twin demons of PROZAC and insecurity that turn a happy go lucky man into a stark-raving suicidal guy. In a matter of couple of hours the strong man Joy turns into a pleading mad guy seeing ghosts of his lover and her kid at every nook and corner. Everything around in the seemingly nondescript office become the targets of his paranoia, fed by the crazy hallucinatory effects of his anti depressant pills. FIRED is a real time depiction of the last two hours in the life of a CEO who has recently fired almost half his employees, set in an empty office space, which also acts as a major character, enhancing the suspense of the film. It is through the invention (and 2004 launch) of his hugely popular social media tool, Facebook, that users have been able to easily keep in touch with friends, share videos, photos and news of life experiences, engage in discourse over matters both serious and silly and engineer social plans. Indeed, Facebook, whose development was chronicled in the 2010 film “The Social Network”, has had a profound influence in changing the way we communicate and exchange information. That’s not always a good thing, though. Facebook has come under fire for, among other things, the widening exposure of information on those who own Facebook profiles, the company’s immediate ownership claim of any photos or videos shared on the site and concerns about the security of private user data on the site. The company has navigated its way through a fair share of family public snafus, most notably the introduction of the Beacon product which shared users' purchases with their friends and the change in privacy settings which seemed to encourage users to reveal more of their data. Zuckerberg, the Facebook co-founder, chairman and CEO, made headlines in 2010 when he declared that “privacy is dead”. For all the legitimate concerns related to Facebook, the biggest and most dangerous drawback for many is the freedom offered through its blank canvas. In a letter sent to prospective investors when the company went public in 2012, Zuckerberg lauded the limitless opportunity afforded by the tool, saying, "a more open world is a better world because people with more information can make better decisions and have a greater impact." Of course, it is that same open communication that can prove so perilous to those who don't use it in a smart, sensible manner. Take these people, for instance. You won’t see too many ‘better decisions’ here, but their words certainly carried a great impact. In each case, the people included here had the mental capacity to hold down (at the time, anyway) a decent, respectable job - and in some cases, a downright esteemed, coveted position. Those whose Facebook misuse led to their professional downfall include an emergency responder, a radio host and even a Buckingham Palace guard. And still, regardless of profession, all of the individuals listed here flunked a basic Facebook 101 lesson, failing to grasp the permanence and widespread accessibility of the social media tool. Their bullying, company-bashing and generally ill-advised, irresponsible posting was quickly and easily flagged by their employers, resulting in swift termination. If there's a lesson to be learned here - and there probably should be - it's that you continue to represent your workplace even outside of business hours, just as you remain visible even in the comfort of your own PC. As these people quickly found out, Facebook giveth, but Facebook can also taketh away. Maybe next time they’ll think before they post. March 8, 2016 (Persian calendar 1394/12/18) The Aerospace Division of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is holding the final stage of large-scale missile drills. The final phase of the exercises, codenamed Eqtedar-e-Velayat اقتدار ولايت, saw ballistic missiles fired from silo-based launchers in different locations across the country on Tuesday. The maneuvers are aimed at displaying Iran’s “deterrence power” and the country’s “full readiness to confront all kinds of threats against the Revolution, establishment and territorial integrity,” the IRGC said. IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari سرلشگر محمدعلي جعفري and commander of the IRGC Aerospace Division Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh سرتيپ اميرعلي حاجي زاده oversaw parts of the drills. Last October, Iran successfully test-fired its precision-guided long-range Emad عماد missile, sparking an uproar among US politicians. In January, the US Department of the Treasury imposed new sanctions against Iranian citizens and companies over the country’s ballistic missile program. Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan سرتيپ حسين دهقان has asserted that the Emad missile is a conventional weapon. Last December, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif وزير امورخارجه محمدجواد ظريف defended Iran’s right to carry out missile tests, saying none of Iranian missiles are capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

A Sears store employee in Winnipeg has been fired after a racially charged exchange with a customer that was recorded by a witness and posted to YouTube. The incident at a mall outlet allegedly began after an employee told a customer to get off a child lawnmower. The video starts with a Sears worker saying he's called security. "Let me guess, you came from Domo," the man says. "You came off a boat?" the employee responds before saying something about being threatened.
