Hey or Hey! may refer to:
A fell (from Old Norse fell, fjall, "mountain") is a high and barren landscape feature, such as a mountain range or moor-covered hills. The term is most often employed in Fennoscandia, the Isle of Man, parts of Northern England, and Scotland.
The English word fell comes from Old Norse fell, fjall (both forms existed). It is cognate with Icelandic fjall/fell, Faroese fjall, Danish fjeld, Swedish fjäll, and Norwegian fjell, all referring to mountains rising above the alpine tree line.
In Northern England, especially in the Lake District and in the Pennine Dales, the word fell originally referred to an area of uncultivated high ground used as common grazing. This meaning is found in the names of various breeds of livestock, bred for life on the uplands, such as Rough Fell sheep and Fell ponies. It is also found in many place names across the North of England, often attached to the name of a community; thus Seathwaite Fell, for example, would be the common grazing land used by the farmers of Seathwaite. The fellgate marks the road from a settlement onto the fell (see photograph for example).
A drop or droplet is a small column of liquid, bounded completely or almost completely by free surfaces. A drop may form when liquid accumulates at the lower end of a tube or other surface boundary, producing a hanging drop called a pendant drop. Drops may also be formed by the condensation of a vapor or by atomization of a larger mass of liquid.
Liquid forms drops because the liquid exhibits surface tension.
A simple way to form a drop is to allow liquid to flow slowly from the lower end of a vertical tube of small diameter. The surface tension of the liquid causes the liquid to hang from the tube, forming a pendant. When the drop exceeds a certain size it is no longer stable and detaches itself. The falling liquid is also a drop held together by surface tension.
In the pendant drop test, a drop of liquid is suspended from the end of a tube by surface tension. The force due to surface tension is proportional to the length of the boundary between the liquid and the tube, with the proportionality constant usually denoted . Since the length of this boundary is the circumference of the tube, the force due to surface tension is given by
My Head was a grunge/alternative rock power trio from Los Angeles, California, United States formed in 1993 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Adam Siegel and drummer Greg Saenz. Due to its member's past on Excel, My Head's sound was influenced by early 1980s Crossover Thrash music, but also by the growing grunge movement impulsed by bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Even after its dissolution My Head recorded three tracks for two different Mike Muir's releases: Pneumonia (EP later included on the album Mas Borracho by Infectious Grooves) and Friends & Family, Vol. 2 by Suicidal Tendencies.
Harry Alonzo Longabaugh (1867 – November 7, 1908), better known as the Sundance Kid, was an outlaw and member of Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch in the American Old West. Longabaugh likely met Butch Cassidy (real name Robert Leroy Parker) after Parker was released from prison around 1896. Together with the other members of "The Wild Bunch" gang, they performed the longest string of successful train and bank robberies in American history.
After pursuing a career in crime for several years in the United States, the pressures of being pursued, notably by the Pinkerton Detective Agency, forced Longabaugh, his girlfriend Etta Place, and Cassidy to abandon the United States. The trio fled first to Argentina and then to Bolivia, where Parker and Longabaugh were reportedly killed in a shootout in November 1908.
Longabaugh was born in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania in 1867, the son of Pennsylvania natives Josiah and Annie G. (née Place) Longabaugh. He was the youngest of five children (his older siblings were Ellwood, Samanna, Emma and Harvey). Longabaugh was of mostly English and German ancestry and was also part Welsh. At age 15, Longabaugh traveled westward in a covered wagon with his cousin George. In 1887, Longabaugh stole a gun, horse and saddle from a ranch in Sundance, Wyoming. While attempting to flee, he was captured by authorities and was convicted and sentenced to 18 months in jail by Judge William L. Maginnis. During this jail time, he adopted the nickname of the Sundance Kid. After his release, he went back to working as a ranch hand, and in 1891, as a 25-year-old, he worked at the Bar U Ranch in what is today Alberta, Canada, which was one of the largest commercial ranches of the time.
Once I was swept away by a glance Came to some pearly gates holy land (and all) Could of earned some grace if I cared But of that bread I've tasted my share (it burns) Mine was the life of a snug embryo Yet my dreams blazed with fire blood and pain (it's so) And I realized it was death I saw it all just staring helpless As raindrops fell... I lost an eye contemplating the past There'll be no statue to honor those days (the last) I was snubbing life and it's word Just savorig the greenest of grass (absurd) As raindrops fell...

Lyrics: And the raincoat shone into the sun As we walked down the street as one Into the [all pleasant ?] bloom Of a Saturday afternoon And we strolled the walls and kicked our heels Upon the grass on which we fell and sang a song We loved to sing so well And the raindrops came on down on Sally's head As she cuddled up inside a coat of red and said "Hey, where are you? Where you goin' to? yeah, yeah Oh, why can't I come too? 'stead of leavin' me here Oh so lonely, lonely, lonely, wait on me Wait on me Wait on me." And into the trees and forest we did roam The way we danced into the sparkling foam shining our light into the days of blooming wonder And the gray man at the bus station raised his head into the sky and said, "Have you got your ticket?" I said, "I got it, how? But I got it." "P...
This record is just crazy cool! I originally bought it for the flip side, but i didn't care for it so i flipped the 45 over to this side and was floored! Both sides of the 45 were covers of Classics IV tunes (and why not? it was produced by Buddy Buie -- the flipside, btw is his version of 24 Hours Of Loneliness), and I just fell in love with this song! This comes years after his hits, Raindrops, Hey Little Girl and Just Keep It Up....and doesn't even sound like the same guy but it sure is the one and only Dee Clark singing here! From 1970, I hope you dig this one because I think it's one of his best songs! You can hear great records like this one live every night on www.topshelfoldies.com!
