Qufu is a city in southwestern Shandong province, People's Republic of China.
The three most famous cultural sites of the city, collectively known as San Kong.
It is always the case where Unesco world heritage site is located I will surely wanted to visit the city to see it from my own eyes.
The city is famous for its Confucius sites, are the Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion

My whole view of Qufu Shaolin kung fu school has completely changed since the "Headmaster" Wei invited criminal syndicate and brutally kicked one of master inside school was too far for me. The worst part is that one of the ganglands who came to beat the master is now teaching at the school!!

The Temple of Confucius (simplified Chinese: 孔庙; traditional Chinese: 孔廟; pinyin: Kǒng Miào) in Qufu, Shandong Province of China, is the "original", largest and most famous of the temples of Confucius in China and East Asia.
Since 1994, the Temple of Confucius has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu". The two other parts of the site are the nearby Kong Family Mansion (Chinese: 孔府; pinyin: Kǒng Fǔ), where Confucius descendants lived, and the Cemetery of Confucius (Chinese: 孔林; pinyin: Kǒng Lín) a couple kilometers to the north, where Confucius and many of his descendant are buried. The three sites are collectively known in Qufu as San Kong (三孔), i.e. "The Three Confucian [sites]".

Qufu (Chinese: 曲阜; pinyin: Qūfù; Wade–Giles: Ch'ü1-fu4) is a city in southwestern Shandong province, People's Republic of China. It is located at 35° 36′ northern latitude and 117° 02′ east, about 130 kilometres (81 mi) south of the provincial capital Jinan and 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of the prefecture seat at Jining. Qufu has an urban population of about 60,000, the entire administrative region has about 650,000 inhabitants.
Qufu is the hometown of Confucius, who is traditionally believed to have been born at the nearby Mount Ni. The city contains numerous historic palaces, temples and cemeteries. The three most famous cultural sites of the city, collectively known as San Kong (三孔), i.e. "The Three Confucian [sites]", are the Temple of Confucius (Chinese: 孔庙; pinyin: Kǒngmiào), the Cemetery of Confucius (Chinese: 孔林; pinyin: Kǒnglín), and the Kong Family Mansion (Chinese: 孔府; pinyin: Kǒngfǔ). Film ten jest rozszerzoną wersją filmu „Szkoła Kung - Fu Shaolin w Chinach", opublikowanego przeze mnie w dniu 14/01/2012. Tamta, pierwsza wersja była krótsza, gdyż przesyłane wówczas na You Tube treści nie mogły trwać dłużej niż 15 minut. Jednak cieszyła się bardzo duża popularnością (ponad 7400 obejrzeń!!!). Mam nadzieję, że ta, najnowsza wersja filmu, spotka się z podobnym zainteresowaniem.

Père Lachaise is the largest cemetery in Paris and one of the most famous in the world. Many, many famous people are buried here among these grand monuments and mausoleums. Everybody knows Carmen. Here is the man who wrote the music, the famous composer Georges Bizet. Here is the grave of French novelist, Honoré de Balzac. All the French students know him because they have to read his books in high school. His most famous work is La Comédie humaine, The Human Comedy. It is a collection of novels.
"Père Lachaise is interesting because it has got a beautiful ambience. After you go to the galleries then you go to the final resting place of some of the great artists." In the cemetery, there are 5,000 trees. It is almost like a park! Not all people who are buried here are French. For instance, Jim Morrison, the singer of The Doors, is American, and he has his grave here because he died in Paris. This winged statue marks the site where Irish playwright Oscar Wilde is buried. As you can see, he has a lot of admirers who come and kiss his grave.
Père Lachaise was the first cemetery in France to have its own crematorium. It was built in the 1880s in Byzantine style. This is Mur des Fédérés, the Communards' Wall. In 1871, 150 people got shot here. Along this same wall are monuments dedicated to those who lost their lives in the Holocaust. "For younger people who do not know a lot about the history behind it, it is really good learning. As a teacher, you can talk about the people and what they did and why they are important, and even if you do not know about them, you can make that sort of connection with the French culture." Beautiful Places in China With RockDaniRoll
In this trip I visit 7 different cities from Shenzhen to Qufu, I spend more than 60 hours in 5 different trains and more than 30 hours in buses to find these places.
I went to Guilin, Yangshuo and XingPingZhen for some nice landscapes, to Chengdu to see some pandas, to Jiuzhaigou to see the water in different colors, to Leshan to visit the largest stone Buddha in the world, to Emei Mountain to see the sunset and the sunrise above the clouds, for that I had to climb stairs over 11 hours and deal with some wild and unfriendly monkeys of the area. Then I went to Xian to see the Terracotta Warriors and after that, I finally take the last two trains to get to Qufu and start my new adventure training Shaolin Kung Fu.

The private sector is getting in on the action too, setting up a Smart Commute Toronto initiative to increase the city's transit efficiency.
1. The smartest city in the world is Vienna - Vienna was the only city that ranked in the top 10 in every category. It is establishing bold smart-city targets and tracking their progress to reach these goals with programs like Smart Energy Vision 2050, Roadmap 2020, and Action Plan 2012-2015.
A smart city is defined as using information and communication technologies to be more intelligent and efficient in the use of resources, resulting in cost and energy savings, improved service delivery and quality of life, and reduced environmental footprint--all supporting innovation and the low-carbon economy.
