Search Methods

We find most search engines over-hyped--short on speed & comprehensiveness promised. We test & update comments on each, particularly for the book related world. Some may be fast, while others are lost in space...

For used books, recommended is Advanced Book Exchange (over 10,000 used book dealers listing 50 million books) or AddAll.com . It's where most book search services begin, so why shouldn't you?

Multiple Search Engines:Some services provide a simultaneous search via multiple popular search engines. We are online searching various materials hours a day, & our favorite, hands down is Google; another we liked a couple years ago was Inference (now defunct).

| Dog Pile | Motherload has degenerated, but their Insane Search used to be fun for in-depth & wierd results | Metafind |
