Robert Wallace Forster, Jr. (born July 13, 1941), known professionally as Robert Forster, is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as John Cassellis in Haskell Wexler's Medium Cool and Max Cherry in Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has since appeared in films such as Mulholland Drive, The Descendants, Olympus Has Fallen, and its upcoming sequel London Has Fallen. He has also appeared in television series such as Heroes, Alcatraz, Last Man Standing, and Breaking Bad. He is a member of the Triple Nine Society.
Forster was born in Rochester, New York, the son of Grace Dorothy (née Montanarella) and Robert Wallace Forster, Sr., who worked as an elephant trainer for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and later as an executive for a baking supply company. His mother was Italian American, while his father was of English and Irish descent. The two divorced in 1949. As a tribute to his father, Forster hung one of his father's Barnum & Bailey Circus posters in the office of his character in Jackie Brown.

Robert Forster (The Go-Betweens) with Kiko Amat in Barcelona. Aired: Sunday, February 6, 2013. Mapa sonoro (sonic map). La2, TVE. From "rtve a a carta".
We were treated to more Robert Forster when he was here in December but this time he was with a band! He said he'd not brought a band here since 2008 which means I've only ever seen him solo with a guitar. I've always enjoyed that, mainly because of his acerbic wit, but I've longed to hear those songs with a full band as they are meant to be heard. I wish I'd recorded 'Head Full of Steam' whose funky bassline was so much fun live but here's a good one of Robert's classics. The set list was fantastic. A great combination of his newest album and Go-Betweens stuff from the 80s and early 00s.
Spend the evening with Robert Forster as he chats with renowned music journalist Noel Mengel, reflecting on the band dynamic of The Go-Betweens, their UK exile and lingering Queensland influences, and the band's musical legacy and ongoing pop culture sway. The Go Betweens was formed when Robert Forster and Grant McLennan met at a theatre course at The University of Queensland. They played their first public gig at the Baroona Hall in Paddington in 1978, but departed a year later for the UK and Europe. McLennan and Forster's collaboration over the next decade would bring about six albums including their most successful, 16 Lovers Lane, which climbed the music charts in the UK, USA and Australia. At the height of their partnership, they were dubbed by legendary Village Voice critic, Robert ...

FORSTER STRUCTURE PROGRAM© STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY https://vimeo.com/ondemand/forsterstructureprogram Honed over the last thirty five years in the results driven world of elite athletics, and every day with clients just like you, we know that the essential foundation of exercise is the FORSTER STRUCTURE PROGRAM© Strength and Flexibility Training. The vital component of fitness is healthy resilient joints and muscles, with increasing flexibility and strength to adapt to life, sport, and aging. When his wife is attacked and son killed by gang members, an outraged family man (Robert Forster) joins a co-worker's (Fred Williamson) vigilantes against the New York street gang.
You say, you want to take a lover
Although you're satisfied with me
We have to open our horizons, my love
We can, but you'll do it without me
You can call me old-fashioned
You can call me straight laced
I'm not going to sit here and let another man take my
place
So go and see him, what will be will be
Every man for the rest of your life will be less than
me
I want you to stay
You search for a worthwhile need
But why not do the searching around here and try to
involve me?
You say there's nothing wrong with us
That what we have here is good
But you have more needs and the fire cannot burn on the
same old wood
So excuse me if I look tired
So excuse me if I just look at the sun
You see I wanted to be blinded
And I wanted to be your only one
The yellow time of autumn comes
The dying sound of distant drums
The old me that sit on doorsteps know I am an
unfortunate man
And on a road that's made of stones
The road that's made of Baby Stones
There's an arrow made of stones
That points away from this home
I missed the turning back, I walked on by
Old situations can make you want to lie down and die
I want you to stay
You search for a worthwhile need
But why not do the searching around here and try to
involve me?
And on a road that's made of stones
The road that's made of Baby Stones
There's an arrow made of stones
That points away from this home
