Hello and welcome to the Dane County Regional Airport. On behalf of the Dane County Executive, I want to welcome you to our beautiful facility, designed with your ease and comfort in mind. Dane County Regional Airport is located on International Lane on Madison's north side and is just minutes from many of the county's largest employers and some of the best attractions in south central Wisconsin. Upon arrival, you will notice the Prairie Style architecture inspired by the designs of Wisconsin-native, Frank Lloyd Wright. Even our landscaping speaks to our natural, prairie-like surroundings. As you drive into the complex, signs direct you to our parking facilities. Near the terminal there are four lanes for dropping off and picking up passengers, and two more lanes for commercial service vehicles. You will also find plenty of parking options, both in our ramp and in our surface lots directly across from the terminal. There's also a "park and walk" economy lot. And for ease in picking up passengers, there is a free cell phone lot south of the terminal. A separate holding bay for taxis, a rental car area, and an exit for pass through traffic are at the north end of the parking area. Inside, the Prairie Style theme has been incorporated throughout the terminal, giving the space a more home-like, personal feel than you will find at most other airports. There is an expansive ticket lobby....and 13 new passenger loading gates...11 with bridges...and state-of-the-art security. Business travelers appreciate the services the Dane County Regional Airport provides, like WI-FI wireless internet capability, individual work stations, and conference rooms. Leisure travelers, especially those with children, appreciate the family and mother's lounges. Comfortable leather seating can be found throughout the terminal, especially in our cozy "Meeters and Greeters" lounge. There are also a variety of shops and restaurants, including Lake Country Market and Wisconsin Marketplace, and local dining favorites like The Great Dane Brew Pub and Ancora Coffee, among others. There's also a bit of the unexpected at the Dane County Regional Airport, including our Art Court, which features exhibits from around the area and across the world. The exhibits are free and open to the public... And the Corben Super Ace plane suspended from the ceiling on the south end of the terminal.
