The US is the most powerful nation on earth, but its position of global supremacy is being challenged - economically, militarily and politically. Bradford is at the heart of the UK and it was once the wealthiest city in Britain, riding the wave of the industrial revolution, its mills churning out textiles that dressed the world. But Great Britain is no longer the great empire that it once was, and today, the city of Bradford is not defined by industrial or political power but by poverty, inequality and social decline.
Another thing that has changed is the make-up of the residents themselves. White Christian Anglo-Saxons used to be the only racial and religious denomination in Bradford. But then the children of the empire started migrating to the UK in search of better lives - and stayed. British society became multi-racial and multi-cultural.
Britain embraced multiculturalism, mosques jostled with church spires on some city skylines and Chicken Tikka Masala became the nation's favourite dish.
The problems started when the once colourful minority became, in places like Bradford, the majority. Native Britons felt left behind, especially as times got tougher. There were race riots in Bradford in 2001.
The so-called white working class is angry and alienated and the divide between communities seems to be growing. Add the threat of home-grown terrorism and religious extremism and it becomes a volatile cocktail.
The Cafe discusses multiculturalism, race riots, poverty and Islamophobia and what it really means to be British in the 21st century.

Palestinians have lived under Israeli occupation for more than 60 years. Their homes and land have been stolen and their status reduced to that of refugees in their own country. But instead of uniting against a common enemy, Palestinians are divided, between the Islamists in Hamas who rule Gaza, and the Palestinian Authority (PA) that governs the West Bank. Many accuse the PA of being Israeli stooges and their mismanagement of everything from unemployment, sky-rocketing prices, water rights, taxation and border issues have made them deeply unpopular. Postponing elections simply prolongs the crisis. The paradox is that Ramallah, the unofficial capital of the occupied territories, is booming, with aid money pouring in to assuage the world's guilty consciences. Many worry that this is breeding an aid-dependent culture and further weakening Palestinian resistance. And what hope is there of any permanent solution? The ancient Greeks invented the word chaos to describe complete disorder and confusion. They did not think they would be living with it for so long.
Greece is the economic basket-case of Europe, gone from junk status to even "junkier". The country's debt is 145 per cent of GDP and it is the ordinary people who are paying the price.
One-third of Greeks live below the poverty line. Anger has turned into violence and despair, and suicides have increased by 40 per cent since the crisis began.
Plummeting salaries and pensions, never-ending tax hikes and ever-deeper spending cuts have pushed the country to the brink of economic and social collapse. Queues at soup kitchens are lengthening, the number of homeless people is mounting, and critical medical supplies are in short supply.
The Greeks also invented democracy, but inconclusive election results with no outright majority could simply prolong the crisis.
Some say the Greeks have brought it all on themselves, and call for harsher measures. But can the latest government cut further and deeper? Can Greece survive the euro? Can the euro survive Greece? Or is this the end of the European dream?

I Went to LA's First Cat Cafe!
Location: Crumbs & Whiskers in Los Angeles Music: My Way Remix Music is not mine. Went to LA's first cat cafe and made a video of it! 75min def wasn't enough time to hang out with the cats, but I'll be back! I think they are all rescue cats so they are up for adoption. The cafe was really cute and cozy with friendly cats playing/ lounging. They group you into sessions so you have to make a reservation online then be on time. Overall it was a really good experience! I wish I could take one home!!

I have made pour over coffee almost every day for the past few years but I was recently gifted a La Pavoni Europiccola (pre millennium) and have started getting into the world of espresso drinks. Chijioke Dozie and Ngozi Dozie are two brothers who started a cafe called ‘Cafe Neo’ in 2012.
