Writer-director Mickey Keating is back with his second feature film, Pod. It stars Dean Cates and Lauren Ashley Carter as Ed and Lyla, two siblings who get a disturbingly cryptic message from their brother Martin (Brian Morvant). Concerned about Martin’s well-being, they’ve got no choice but to drive out to their secluded family lake house to find out what’s going on. When they arrive, they’re shocked to find the home an unrecognizable mess. However, a disgusting kitchen and bizarre drawings all over the walls are nothing compared to what Martin insists is in their basement.
While in Austin for the Pod world premiere at SXSW, I got to sit down with Keating, Cates, Morvant and composer Giona Ostinelli to talk about locking a location first and then building a story around it, Cates and Morvant’s first impression of the script and their especially intense characters, incorporating flash frames in post-production and more. Morvant
Morvant (pronounced, in the local English dialect, "Morva") is a community in Trinidad and Tobago located east of Port of Spain and west of Barataria.
Location
Morvant is located in the southern foothills of the Northern Range of the island of Trinidad. It is bordered by the Lady Young Road on the North and penetrates the communities of Mon Repos on the North East, Barataria on the East, Laventille on the South West and Belmont on the West.
Morvant was originally a village that housed many working-class families who made their livelihoods within the homes and businesses of the (relatively) more affluent middle-class people living in the nearby capital city of Port of Spain. Fortunately, there are still many older Trinidadians who can remember and tell the stories about how, in the late 1940s and early 1950s -- long before the political advent of Eric Williams and the PNM -- the Trinidad Government undertook in Morvant an innovative community-based housing development program that brought greater prosperity and stability to Morvant. The program was patterned on the community development and housing strategy that was being used in Puerto Rico and, some years later, was used in Cuba. Through this program, the government solicited the interest of several Morvant families and encouraged them to assist one another in restoring older homes and in building new homes in Morvant. As a result of this housing development approach, many new families joined the older Morvant residents and came to belong and strengthen this vibrant, resourceful and proud working-class community.

Ashley Carter (born 12 September 1995) is a professional English footballer who plays as a defender for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Career
Carter signed his first professional contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2014. He joined League One side Chesterfield on a month-long youth loan on 2 February 2015.
While on loan, the defender made his senior debut on 17 February 2015 in a 0–2 defeat to Scunthorpe. His loan was subsequently extended to run until the end of the season.

Lauren Ashley Carter is an American actress and producer.
Personal life
Carter grew up in Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music in 2008. She is a fan of horror and science fiction.
Career
Variety described her acting in Jug Face as "a fine performance", and The New York Times wrote of her acting in The Woman that it was "dexterously understated".

Mickey Keating
Mickey Keating (April 12, 1931 – January 19, 2004) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and executive. While a player, he played the defenceman position. After his playing career, he became Coach and General Manager of the Flin Flon Bombers and was an Assistant General Manager with the New York Rangers. Keating was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Writer-director Mickey Keating is back with his second feature film, Pod. It stars Dean Cates and Lauren Ashley Carter as Ed and Lyla, two siblings who get a disturbingly cryptic message from their brother Martin (Brian Morvant). Picnic Dinner at Prey Pros Lake in Kampong Thom Province
Along the way from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh crossing Kampong Thom province, we need to travel on National Highway 6A. We stopped at Prey Prors Lake for dinner as we want to relax a bit getting some fresh air from this lake and enjoy a very romantic picnic dinner next to a beautiful lake with sunset. It's so beautiful sunset and dinner is wonderful as we had fried crocodile meat with steamed rice. Thanks to the owner of this place for letting us getting in for dinner. We stopped at Prey Prors Lake for dinner as we want to relax a bit getting some fresh air from this lake and enjoy a very romantic picnic dinner next to a beautiful lake with sunset. It's so beautiful sunset and dinner is wonderful as we had fried crocodile meat with steamed rice. Thanks to the owner of this place for letting us getting in for dinner. It's Sok Khorn Prey Pros Restaurant next to the big lake. We had dinner and stayed till the sun set down to the west.
