Bayerische Motoren Werke AG pronunciation (help·info) (BMW; English: Bavarian Motor Works) is a German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company founded in 1917. BMW is headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It also owns and produces the Mini marque, and is the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. BMW produces motorcycles under BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna brands. In 2010, the BMW group produced 1,481,253 automobiles and 112,271 motorcycles across all its brands.
BMW was established as a business entity following a restructuring of the Rapp Motorenwerke aircraft engine manufacturing firm in 1917. After the end of World War I in 1918, BMW was forced to cease aircraft engine production by the terms of the Versailles Armistice Treaty. The company consequently shifted to motorcycle production in 1923, once the restrictions of the treaty started to be lifted, followed by automobiles in 1928–29.
The first car which BMW successfully produced and the car which launched BMW on the road to automobile production was the Dixi, it was based on the Austin 7 and licensed from the Austin Motor Company in Birmingham, England.

Plot: Anjali (Amrita Rao) an Indian girl, born & brought up in London, starts having a feel that her past is coming back to her. She learns that her love from previous life is calling her and she must come to India. She comes to India in pursuit of her lover. Over to India, she is welcomed by her DCP Uncle (Danny) who wants her to return back. She somehow manages to evade him and comes across Karan (Arya Babbar) who is a car thief. They somehow bump into each other a number of times and she tells him about her quest. Karan doesn't believe in rebirth but decides to help her. It so happens that Karan too happens to gain knowledge of his previous birth and learns that he and Anjali were lovers in previous life (Abhay Singh & Nandini). They both were freedom fighters. In freedom struggle against the Britishers, an Indian Police officer who is loyal to the British Raj kills Abhay. Nandini too kills herself in the grief. Next, they learn that the officer is still alive and has become a minister. Karan plans to revenge his death. He plans a conspiracy to kill the minister. Anjali's uncle DCP Baksh also helps them in their mission. And as good triumphs over evil, they too are successful.
