This week a new Pokémon Center opens in Kyoto. At first glance it looks like any other Pokémon Center found in Japan, but it’s not. This is the most traditionally Japanese of them all. According to casualty reports from the Central Emergency Operation Center, the victim was identified as a 50-year-old man surnamed Hsu (許) in Taitung County’s Beinan Township (卑南) ... The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) yesterday said that it could issue a sea alert for Tropical Storm Fung-Wong (鳳凰) around noon today as it is approaching the nation’s east coast, although it might issue a land alert if the storm delays in moving northward.
