Terry Dexter (born 1978) is an American contemporary R&B singer-songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist.
Dexter was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1978. She has one twin sister, and she describes her ethnicity simply as interracial. She began singing in her church's gospel choir at the age of 6, and continued until age 14.
From the age of 9 to 14, Dexter was a member of local girl group Tristar. She began singing background for other artists at age 11, most notably for Simply Red. At age 13 she signed to Elektra Records, but an album on the label never materalized. Dexter signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1998 at the age of 19, and she released her eponymous debut album in 1999 (although her debut single, "You'll Never Miss Me ('Til I'm Gone)", was released via Warner Bros. subsidiary Reprise Records). She then moved to A&M Records but left the label without having released an album. Dexter's sophomore album, Listen, was released independently in 2008.

Along the way, the Princess is Kidnapped, they meet Mother Goose, Blip finds true love, and Terry is corrupted (only to be turned back to normal later)... in a fantastic, kaleidoscopic series of adventures.

The way you try to play with me
Lets me know you're not taking my love seriously
So now my guard is up because
I've been hurt before and I'm not gonna hurt no more
See I've already given you more than you deserve
And I love you but I'm no fool
Now if you don't get yourself together
Then I'm gonna leave you
If you just think you're gonna do anything you wanna do
Well, I got news for you
I don't need you, I can find somebody else
I don't need you
If you just think you're gonna do anything you wanna do
Well, I've got news for you
I don't need you, I'm gonna find somebody else
I don't need you
I try to change my point of view on another [Incomprehensible]
And you said you'd do the same for me
We women stress so easily
I won't put up with your infidelity
Boy you had me where you wanted me
But no more, I've gotta move on, yes, I'm moving on
It's true that love makes no sense
I won't get caught up in this mess 'cause I'm moving on, yeah
If you just think you're gonna do anything you wanna do
Well, I got news for you
I don't need you, I can find somebody else
I don't need you
If you just think you're gonna do anything you wanna do
Well, I got news for you
I don't need you, I'm gonna find somebody else
I don't need you
You're gonna miss the love I gave you
No one else can make you feel the way I do
When making love to them you think about me
'Cause I was good to you
If you just think you're gonna do
I don't need you, I can find somebody else
I don't need you
If you just think you're gonna do
I don't need you, I'm gonna find somebody else
I don't need you
I don't need you, I can find somebody else
I don't need you
I don't need you, I'm gonna find somebody else
I don't need you
I don't need you, I'm gonna find somebody else
