Make a Three-Dimensional Figures and Their Nets with KOSEKOMA Делаем объемные фигуры и их развертки вместе с KOSEKOMA ----- Archimedean solids: Great Rhombicosidodecahedron. The great rhombicosidodecahedron is a 3D uniform polyhedron bounded by 20 hexagons, 30 squares, and 12 decagons. It may be constructed by radially expanding the decagonal faces of the truncated dodecahedron outwards, or equivalently, radially expanding the hexagonal faces of the truncated icosahedron, or the square faces of the rhombicosidodecahedron. The great rhombicosidodecahedron is also known as the truncated icosidodecahedron; however, this name is a misnomer, because truncating the icosidodecahedron does not yield a uniform polyhedron, only a non-uniform topological equivalent of the great rhombicosidodecahedron. The correct derivation is as described above. Note also that there is a non-convex polyhedron known as the "great rhombicosidodecahedron", which should not be confused with this convex polyhedron. ------ Архимедовы тела: Ромбоусечённый икосододекаэдр. Make a Three-Dimensional Figures and Their Nets with KOSEKOMA Делаем объемные фигуры и их развертки вместе с KOSEKOMA ----- Archimedean solids: Rhombicosidodecahedron. the rhombicosidodecahedron, or small rhombicosidodecahedron, is an Archimedean solid, one of thirteen convex isogonal nonprismatic solids constructed of two or more types of regular polygon faces. It has 20 regular triangular faces, 30 square faces, 12 regular pentagonal faces, 60 vertices and 120 edges. The name rhombicosidodecahedron refers to the fact that the 30 square faces lie in the same planes as the 30 faces of the rhombic triacontahedron which is dual to the icosidodecahedron. It can also be called an expanded or cantellated dodecahedron or icosahedron, from truncation operations on either uniform polyhedron. ------ Архимедовы тела: Ромбоикосидодекаэдр. Ромбоикосододекаэдр — полуправильный многогранник, состоящий из 12 правильных пятиугольников, 30 квадратов и 20 треугольников. Имеет икосаэдрический тип симметрии. Тhe snub dodecahedron, or snub icosidodecahedron, is an Archimedean solid, one of thirteen convex isogonal nonprismatic solids constructed by two or more types of regular polygon faces. The snub dodecahedron has 92 faces (the most of any convex uniform polyhedron other than prisms and antiprisms), of which 12 are pentagons and the other 80 are equilateral triangles. It also has 150 edges, and 60 vertices. It has two distinct forms, which are mirror images (or "enantiomorphs") of each other. Архимедовы тела: Курносый додекаэдр (плосконосый додекаэдр).
