I am not exactly sure where I am on Highway 17, I am somewhere between Marathon and Terrace Bay. This is probably one of the last trains that will run on the Heron Bay Sub for a few days, based on the lack of traffic on the Lakehead division I observed later on
I uploaded the original .dv file, it was shot on a Canon ZR930 miniDV camera. I thought the quality would be better than it is, given the elimination of an intermediate format (.wmv, .m4v, etc.)

Thunder Bay District is a district and census division in Northwestern Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario. The district seat is Thunder Bay.
In 2011, the population was 146,057. The land area is 103,719.51 square kilometres (40,046.33 sq mi); the population density was 1.4 per square kilometre (3.6 /sq mi). Most of the district (93.5%) is unincorporated and part of the Unorganized Thunder Bay District.
Thunder Bay District was created in 1871 by provincial statute from the western half of Algoma District, named after a large bay on the north shore of Lake Superior. Its northern and western boundaries were uncertain until Ontario's right to Northwestern Ontario was determined by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Until about 1902 it was often called Algoma West from the name of the provincial constituency established in 1885.
The following districts include areas that were formerly part of Thunder Bay District:
Almost 80 per cent of the district's population lives in the city of Thunder Bay Census Metropolitan Area; no other community in the district exceeds 7,000 in population.

John Winston Howard, OM, AC, SSI, (born 26 July 1939) was the 25th Prime Minister of Australia, from 11 March 1996 to 3 December 2007. He was the second-longest serving Australian Prime Minister after Sir Robert Menzies.
Howard was a member of the House of Representatives from 1974 to 2007, representing the Division of Bennelong, New South Wales. He served as Treasurer in the Fraser government of from 1977 to 1983. He was Leader of the Liberal Party and Coalition Opposition from 1985 to 1989, which included the 1987 federal election against Bob Hawke. He was re-elected as Leader of the Opposition in 1995.
Howard led the Liberal-National coalition to victory at the 1996 federal election, defeating Paul Keating's Labor government and ending a record 13 years of Coalition opposition. The Howard Government was re-elected at the 1998, 2001 and 2004 elections, presiding over a period of strong economic growth and prosperity. Major issues for the Howard Government included taxation, industrial relations, immigration, the Iraq war, and Aboriginal relations. Howard's coalition government was defeated at the 2007 election by the Labor Party led by Kevin Rudd. Howard also lost his own parliamentary seat at the election; he was the second Australian Prime Minister, after Stanley Bruce in 1929, to do so.

Youth suicide is when a young person deliberately ends his or her own life. Rates of attempted and completed youth suicide in Western societies are high. For example, in Australia suicide is second only to motor vehicle accidents as the leading cause of death for people aged 15–24, and according to the National Institute for Mental Health, suicide is the third leading cause of death among teens in the United States. It is a much bigger problem in other countries: in India, one-third of suicides are young people 15–29. In 2002, 154,000 suicides were recorded in India.
According to research carried out by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian in 2007, 39% of all youth suicides are completed by young people who have lost someone of influence or significance to them to suicide. The Commission terms this suicide contagion and makes several recommendations as to the importance of safe guarding young people and communities from suicide contagion.
In 2011 the Australian Federal Parliament Standing Committee for Health and Ageing Inquiry into Youth Suicide met in a round table forum with young representatives from three organisations at the forefront of preventing youth suicide, including Sunnykids, Inspire, and Boys Town. The Standing Committee has since released a discussion paper highlighting the findings of their inquiry and will seek to make final recommendations on the most effective means for reducing youth suicide at the conclusion of their inquiry.

I am not exactly sure where I am on Highway 17, I am somewhere between Marathon and Terrace Bay. This is probably one of the last trains that will run on the Heron Bay Sub for a few days, based on the lack of traffic on the Lakehead division I observed later on
I uploaded the original .dv file, it was shot on a Canon ZR930 miniDV camera. I thought the quality would be better than it is, given the elimination of an intermediate format (.wmv, .m4v, etc.)

Moving to a new place is always a challenge. Hear what youth have to say about the journey into new places and spaces.From consultation with over 250 youth, we know that the transition to Thunder Bay from remote communities remains a time of anxiety and stress for many First Nations youth. For many students, this is their first time away from their community and their family and one of their first times in Thunder Bay. Not only are students experiencing a transition to high school but also are learning to live in a new and different community. The Welcome Path is a video created with hopes of addressing and alleviating some of this anxiety. This video is a culmination of information gained from surveys, youth workshops and conversations had with Northern First Nations, both youth and adults, about their experiences coming to Thunder Bay. The video identifies common worries youth experience, what can alleviate some of the worries and how youth can use their own personal resiliency and strengths to overcome the challenges that moving to a new city may cause. First Nations youth worked closely with this project.

Here is description relate to Koh Rong Island:
Koh Rong (Khmer: កោះរ៉ុង, also romanized as Kaôh Rōng or Kos Rong), is the second largest island of Cambodia. The word Rong might refer to an old term for cave or tunnel (រូង - roong in Khmer), although some islanders say Rong refers to a historical person's name. It can also be referred to the old Khmer word for shelter, e.g. shelter island.
Located in Commune (Sangkat) No. 5, or Sangkat Koh Rong of Mittakpheap district in Sihanoukville Province about 25 kilometers off the coast in the Gulf of Thailand, the island has an area of approximately 78 km2 and 43 km of its entire coastline of 61 km are beaches. Four village communities exist on the island: Koh Tuich, Doeum D'keuw, Prek Svay and Sok San.
In recent years the island has become home to an increasing but still moderate number of foreign-run guesthouses and bungalow resorts. As the island's South-Eastern tip around Koh Tuich Village is the point of arrival it has developed into the island's largest settlement center. in absence of even the most basic infrastructure, transport by boat is required to all settlements and holiday resorts, which are scattered all over the many beaches.
Koh Rong island is a relatively new commune, only established in 2000. In order to boost development, Koh Rong has had a land concession issued by the Cambodian government. A Cambodian consortium, the Royal Group has been granted a 99-year lease. In 2008 it has revealed plans to build "Asia’s first environmentally planned resort island."
The island has also played host to the popular reality program, Survivor. In 2012, a special All Star season of the French edition of the program; Koh-Lanta, was filmed on Koh Rong, near Sok San village. Production returned to the island in 2013 for another season, however it ended abruptly after the death of a contestant. More recently, American edition of Survivor is produced Season 31 and 32 of the program on Koh Rong over the course of four months between March to July 2015. The sixteenth edition of Expedition Robinson, Sweden's Survivor, was also filmed on Koh Rong. I hope you will enjoy with this video.

Koh Rong (Khmer: កោះរ៉ុង, also romanized as Kaôh Rōng or Kos Rong), is the second largest island of Cambodia. The word Rong might refer to an old term for cave or tunnel (រូង - roong in Khmer), although some islanders say Rong refers to a historical person's name. It can also be referred to the old Khmer word for shelter, e.g. shelter island.
Located in Commune (Sangkat) No. 5, or Sangkat Koh Rong of Mittakpheap district in Sihanoukville Province about 25 kilometers off the coast in the Gulf of Thailand, the island has an area of approximately 78 km2 and 43 km of its entire coastline of 61 km are beaches. Four village communities exist on the island: Koh Tuich, Doeum D'keuw, Prek Svay and Sok San.
In recent years the island has become home to an increasing but still moderate number of foreign-run guesthouses and bungalow resorts. As the island's South-Eastern tip around Koh Tuich Village is the point of arrival it has developed into the island's largest settlement center. in absence of even the most basic infrastructure, transport by boat is required to all settlements and holiday resorts, which are scattered all over the many beaches.
Koh Rong island is a relatively new commune, only established in 2000. In order to boost development, Koh Rong has had a land concession issued by the Cambodian government. A Cambodian consortium, the Royal Group has been granted a 99-year lease. In 2008 it has revealed plans to build "Asia’s first environmentally planned resort island."
The island has also played host to the popular reality program, Survivor. In 2012, a special All Star season of the French edition of the program; Koh-Lanta, was filmed on Koh Rong, near Sok San village. Production returned to the island in 2013 for another season, however it ended abruptly after the death of a contestant. More recently, American edition of Survivor is produced Season 31 and 32 of the program on Koh Rong over the course of four months between March to July 2015. The sixteenth edition of Expedition Robinson, Sweden's Survivor, was also filmed on Koh Rong. I hope you will enjoy with this video.

The word "Sanloem" translates to: 1. drowsiness and to: 2. far out and hard to discern, in a wider sense.[3] Inconsistencies on how to spell the island's name in its Latinized version date back to the 19th century. The first controversial spelling variants were issued by map makers during French rule. Alternatives have since become widespread and are in common usage. Often confusion ensues as Google Maps offers the phonetically most consistent variant, whereas Google Search redirects to an alternative.
Koh Rong Sanloem lies within Sihanoukville province's Mittakpheap district in Commune 5 (Sangkat Koh Rong). Alongside its sister-island Koh Rong it has developed into a popular holiday destination for individual travelers. With respect to the island's very tiny population, the tourism sector is by 2014 the core economy.
Geography
The island resembles its northern sister, Koh Rong in many ways, although it has noticeably less landmass in relation to its coastline. The terrain is predominantly hilly with a few mountains of moderate size (e.g. La Chameau - The camel). The interior is almost entirely covered in dense jungle. The coastline is characterized by a succession of sandstone rock formations and beautiful beaches. There are three yellow sand beaches at the island's long western coast. Its eastern side, facing towards the mainland and less exposed to the weather and the monsoon, is characterized by bays and headlands. A very attractive feature is the crescent shaped Saracen Beach bay with an inner diameter of around 3 kilometers. Saracen bay got its name from a British survey brig, HMS Saracen that charted the area in the late nineteenth century.[8] North of the island lies the uninhabited Koh Koun island, followed by Koh Rong.
Tourism
More than a dozen guest houses and bungalow resorts have been established by 2014. Although most of these businesses are scattered all over the whole island, Saracen beach has become the primary place of arrival and departure with the highest number and density of resorts followed by Ma-pay Bay located at the northern end of the island. Accommodation and prices range from cheap dorm beds to well furnished solid bungalows.[11] There are a few daily scheduled ferries (around 2-2.5 hours) and 2 speed ferries (25 min and 45 min) to the island. Departure is at the local port of Sihanoukville and the piers at Serendipity beach and Victory beach.
Wildlife
The island's formidable jungle is the ideal habitat for a great variety of endemic Invertebrate species. Vertebrates are less abundant and, typically for island populations, are small in comparison. Amphibians and reptiles are the most numerous and the island's brooks, ponds and streams are home to a variety of small freshwater fish. Birds include the Great hornbill, theKing Fisher and the Osprey. There is a group of Macaques living on the island and rodents are very common as a consequence of human activities. Small reefs and the rocky surface of the surrounding waters are home to a remarkable variety of marine species. Divers and Snorkelers regularly emphasize the presence of delicate miniature Eco-systems, seahorses andnudibranches are particularly diverse

Its distance from the local port of Sihanoukville is 25 kilometers (beeline) and 23 kilometers (beeline) from the Serendipity/Ochheuteal beach pier. The word "Sanloem" translates to: 1. drowsiness and to: 2. far out and hard to discern, in a wider sense.[3] Inconsistencies on how to spell the island's name in its Latinized version date back to the 19th century. The first controversial spelling variants were issued by map makers during French rule. Alternatives have since become widespread and are in common usage. Often confusion ensues as Google Maps offers the phonetically most consistent variant, whereas Google Search redirects to an alternative.
Koh Rong Sanloem lies within Sihanoukville province's Mittakpheap district in Commune 5 (Sangkat Koh Rong). Alongside its sister-island Koh Rong it has developed into a popular holiday destination for individual travelers. With respect to the island's very tiny population, the tourism sector is by 2014 the core economy.
Geography
The island resembles its northern sister, Koh Rong in many ways, although it has noticeably less landmass in relation to its coastline. The terrain is predominantly hilly with a few mountains of moderate size (e.g. La Chameau - The camel). The interior is almost entirely covered in dense jungle. The coastline is characterized by a succession of sandstone rock formations and beautiful beaches. There are three yellow sand beaches at the island's long western coast. Its eastern side, facing towards the mainland and less exposed to the weather and the monsoon, is characterized by bays and headlands. A very attractive feature is the crescent shaped Saracen Beach bay with an inner diameter of around 3 kilometers. Saracen bay got its name from a British survey brig, HMS Saracen that charted the area in the late nineteenth century.[8] North of the island lies the uninhabited Koh Koun island, followed by Koh Rong.
Tourism
More than a dozen guest houses and bungalow resorts have been established by 2014. Although most of these businesses are scattered all over the whole island, Saracen beach has become the primary place of arrival and departure with the highest number and density of resorts followed by Ma-pay Bay located at the northern end of the island. Accommodation and prices range from cheap dorm beds to well furnished solid bungalows.[11] There are a few daily scheduled ferries (around 2-2.5 hours) and 2 speed ferries (25 min and 45 min) to the island. Departure is at the local port of Sihanoukville and the piers at Serendipity beach and Victory beach.
Wildlife
The island's formidable jungle is the ideal habitat for a great variety of endemic Invertebrate species. Vertebrates are less abundant and, typically for island populations, are small in comparison. Amphibians and reptiles are the most numerous and the island's brooks, ponds and streams are home to a variety of small freshwater fish. Birds include the Great hornbill, theKing Fisher and the Osprey. There is a group of Macaques living on the island and rodents are very common as a consequence of human activities. Small reefs and the rocky surface of the surrounding waters are home to a remarkable variety of marine species. Divers and Snorkelers regularly emphasize the presence of delicate miniature Eco-systems, seahorses andnudibranches are particularly diverse

"We have made it to Thailand! It is very hot and humid and there was a lot of thunder and lightning in Bangkok. The temples in Bangkok are really beautiful. There are a lot of foreigners here compared to Japan and China. Bangkok is surpisingly modern and clean, a very nice city. We have been eating a lot of Thai food, greenn curries are v nice. We went to the cinema and had to stand before the film for the Thai National Anthem! Why don't they do that in the UK/BVI/Canada!? Seroiusly though, they are very patriotic.
We flew down to Phuket (they pronounce it Foo-Kett) to have a break from temples and museums and big cities. We have seen a bit of rain but it has generally been pretty nice. We played crazy golf (or Mini Putt for the Canadians) in a bizarre dinosaur themed amusement park. We have seen a few of the beaches, which are nice but not as clean as the BVI beaches. We have found a nice guesthouse run by a a German/Thai couple. Our orginal "bungalow" did not have hot water so we decided to upgrade for obvious reasons. We are in a town called Kata which is full of Scandanavians, there are Swedish flags and blond people all over the place! Julie went diving and I did a bit of snorkelling. We are going to Ko Phi Phi (where they filmed "The Beach") for a night tomorrow before heading up to Chang Mai (the "northern capital") for a bit more culture (and elephant riding).

Dur d'oublier ce restoquand a la fin du repas c'est un Condom qu'on te remet au lieu d'une traditionnelle menthe. Tous les profits de ce resto vont en effet a une association qui a pour mission de sensibiliser les gens au port du condom. On a egalement vu un elephant se promener, en pleine ville (la vie d'un elephant semble s'approcher de la vie d'un humain... ils commencent a travailler a 5 ans et le gouvernement de la Thailande oblige les proprios des elephants a les remettre en retraite a 61 ans. Esperance de vie = 80 ans).
Lendemain, visite traditionnelle avec navette sur la riviere, temple Wat Aron (super-a-pic ou je ne croyais pas que mes nerfs seraient capables de tenir durant la descente). Grand palais, et bouddha en emeraude. Lunch dans le district des packpackers (lire ici, pleins de kiosque ou on essaie de te vendre a tout prix). On a aussi utilise les tuktuks, la visite traditionnelle, quoi! En fin de journee, on a decide d'aller au cinema voir un film pas trop bon avec Angelina Jolie (surement que les hommes auraient su apprecie... un peu trop d'actions). Fait cocasse, avant toutes representations au cinema, on doit se tenir debout lorsqu'un presentation en l'honneur du roi est faite et ou on ecoute l'hymne national.
Le lendemain, autre visite d'un gros bouddha en or... Puis depart de Bangkok pour Phuket. Depuis notre arrivee a Kata (sur l'ile de Phuket), on se sent vraiment en vacances. Plage vendredi! Plongee samedi (super-professionelle comme compagnie). Dimanche, plage et mini-putt "pierrafeux" (on se serait cru a Atlantic City sur la cote est). Aujourd'hui, nous sommes alles a la ville de Phuket (1hrs d'autobus pour faire 11 km, relax, hen?) et plage encore. On s'en lasse pas! Demain, on part pour une autre ile, Phi Phi, ou on va passer une nuit. On s'en vient vraiment plus zen!
On mange vraiment bien ici! C'est a Bangkok que j'ai mange ma meilleure mangue a vie! On adore la Thailande... facile de s'imaginer pourquoi certains y reviennennt passer des vacances.

"We have made it to Thailand! It is very hot and humid and there was a lot of thunder and lightning in Bangkok. The temples in Bangkok are really beautiful. There are a lot of foreigners here compared to Japan and China. Bangkok is surpisingly modern and clean, a very nice city. We have been eating a lot of Thai food, greenn curries are v nice. We went to the cinema and had to stand before the film for the Thai National Anthem! Why don't they do that in the UK/BVI/Canada!? Seroiusly though, they are very patriotic.
We flew down to Phuket (they pronounce it Foo-Kett) to have a break from temples and museums and big cities. We have seen a bit of rain but it has generally been pretty nice. We played crazy golf (or Mini Putt for the Canadians) in a bizarre dinosaur themed amusement park. We have seen a few of the beaches, which are nice but not as clean as the BVI beaches. We have found a nice guesthouse run by a a German/Thai couple. Our orginal "bungalow" did not have hot water so we decided to upgrade for obvious reasons. We are in a town called Kata which is full of Scandanavians, there are Swedish flags and blond people all over the place! Julie went diving and I did a bit of snorkelling. We are going to Ko Phi Phi (where they filmed "The Beach") for a night tomorrow before heading up to Chang Mai (the "northern capital") for a bit more culture (and elephant riding).
