Trailer for the 66th and final Republic Pictures' serial, KING OF THE CARNIVAL (1955), starring Harry Lauter, Fran Bennett and Rick Vallin.
Shot in just 17 days and built around liberal use of stock footage from Republic's previous serial, DAREDEVILS OF THE RED CIRCLE (1939) and the 1937 feature film, CIRCUS GIRL, the economies were well evident even to the causal moviegoer.
Though a 67th serial, PHANTOM OF THE RACE TRACK, was announced as part of the studio's 1956 release schedule, the production was cancelled. Republic did, however, maintain a steady theatrical re-release schedule for its cliffhangers through 198, starting with DICK TRACY'S G-MEN and ending with ZORRO'S FIGHTING LEGION.
35mm and 16mm prints of Republic serials continue to be available through a variety of third party distributors even today.

Harry Lauter
Herman Arthur "Harry" Lauter (June 19, 1914 – October 30, 1990) was an American character actor. He is not to be confused with Harry Lauder.
Life and career
Lauter was born in White Plains, New York. He came to be a familiar presence in low-budget films, serials (where he was often cast because of his facial resemblance to stuntman Tom Steele, who would double for him), and television programs in the 1950s, though he only once really came close to stardom, as Clay Morgan, one of the leads in the CBS television series, Tales of the Texas Rangers, which aired fifty-two episodes from 1955 to 1958. His co-star was Willard Parker as Ranger Jace Pearson.
Lauter made appearances on many television programs, particularly westerns: The Gene Autry Show (sixteen episodes), Annie Oakley (twelve episodes), The Lone Ranger and The Range Rider (eleven episodes each), Gunsmoke and Rawhide (ten episodes each), Death Valley Days and The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (seven episodes each), Laramie and Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater (six episodes each), The Virginian and State Trooper (five times each), and Cheyenne, Bonanza, and Maverick (three episodes each).

Roy Rogers
Roy Rogers (born Leonard Franklin Slye; November 5, 1911 – July 6, 1998) was an American singer and cowboy actor who was one of the most popular Western stars of his era. Known as the "King of the Cowboys", he appeared in over 100 films and numerous radio and television episodes of The Roy Rogers Show. In many of his films and television episodes, he appeared with his wife Dale Evans, his golden palomino Trigger, and his German Shepherd dog Bullet. His show ran on radio for nine years before moving to television from 1951 through 1957. His productions usually featured a sidekick, often Pat Brady, Andy Devine, or George "Gabby" Hayes. In his later years, Rogers lent his name to the Roy Rogers Restaurants franchised chain.
Biography
Early life
Rogers (Leonard Slye) was born to Mattie (née Womack) and Andrew "Andy" Slye in Cincinnati, Ohio. The family lived in a tenement building on 2nd Street, where Riverfront Stadium would later be constructed (Rogers would later joke that he was born at second base). Dissatisfied with his job and city life, Andy and his brother Will built a 12-by-50-foot (3.7 m × 15.2 m) houseboat from salvage lumber, and in July 1912 the Slye family traveled up the Ohio River towards Portsmouth, Ohio. Desiring a more stable existence in Portsmouth, they purchased land on which to build a house, but the Great Flood of 1913 allowed them to move the houseboat to their property and continue living in it on dry land.

Shot in just 17 days and built around liberal use of stock footage from Republic's previous serial, DAREDEVILS OF THE RED CIRCLE (1939) and the 1937 feature film, CIRCUS GIRL, the economies were well evident even to the causal moviegoer.
Though a 67th serial, PHANTOM OF THE RACE TRACK, was announced as part of the studio's 1956 release schedule, the production was cancelled. Annie Oakley is an American Western television series that fictionalized the life of famous sharpshooter Annie Oakley. It ran from January 1954 to February 1957 in syndication, for a total of 81 black and white episodes, each 25 minutes long. ABC showed reruns on Saturday and Sunday daytime from 1959 to 1960 and from 1964 to 1965.

Duke and his gang frame Sam plus kidnap Linda to keep him from proving his innocence. Annie and Lofty must stop a lynch mob lead by Howard, save Linda while proving Duke's guilt with Tagg's ventriloquism helping.

He worked for such designers as Montana, Mugler, Boss,Cerruti, Versace, Jaene Barnes and was published in the magazines Vogue, Elle, Max, Interview, Cosmopolitan and later, he established himself as a international Top Model.
Later, Bernhardt moved to New York where he was cast to co-star with Jean-Claude Van Damme in Bruce Weber's TV spot "Looking for Kicks" for Gianni Versace. Producer Marc Di Salle who launched Van Damme's carrier with Bloodsport and Kickboxer, discovered Daniel Bernhardt and cast him to star in the sequel Bloodsport II (1996) which was his debut, opposite such actors as Pat Morita and James Hong, including comic relief big guy Donald Gibb and Taekwondo champion Philip Tan. His next films were Future War (1997), opposite Robert Z'Dar, Black Sea Raid (1997), True Vengance (1997), with Miles O'Keeffe and Beverly Johnson and Perfect Target (1997) with Robert Englund and Brian Thompson. After these films, Daniel's interest in acting became bigger and he started to study acting in Los Angeles under Harry Mastrogeorge. So, he continued with G2 (1998), again with James Hong, Bloodsport 4: The Dark Kumite (1999), the last one in the series, this time against Brazilian JuJutsu champion Stefanos Miltsakakis.
He appeared on TV series "Mortal Kombat: Conquest", as Siro, and it was followed by Global Effect (2002) and a mega hit "Matrix" sequel Matrix Reloaded (2003), where he appeared as upgraded agent Johnson, where he had an awesome fighting scene with Laurence Fishburne on the large truck, he has worked with other great names in this film, such as Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, Monica Bellucci, Lambert Willson and Jada Pinket Smith. He also lent his voice to agent Johnson in Enter The Matrix video game.

Daraufhin wurde ich noch röter.
V: Darf ich zum Interview mitkommen?
N: Ich hab nacher eine Überraschung für dich. Und damit sie geheim bleibt, wirst du hier bleiben, und das Interview im Fernsehen sehen.
Ich zog einen Schmollmund, was Niall dazu veranlasste mich zu umarmen.
N: Außerdem kannst du dann vielleicht die Freundinnen, bzw die fast-Freundinnen der Jungs besser kennen lernen.
Ich nickte.

Die Jungs waren zu ihrem Interview abgefahren, und wir Mädchen saßen auf der Couch und warteten darauf dass das Interview anfing.
Eleanor, Perrie und Sophia wirkten wirklich nett. Wir schalteten den Fernseher ein. Bis das Interview anfing, unterhielten wir uns noch. Perrie, Eleanor und Sophia wollten unbedingt wissen wie Valerie und ich Harry und Niall kennengelernt hatten. Nachdem wir ihnen lang und ausführlich alles erzählt hatten, sprachen wir noch über alles mögliche. Die drei wahren wirklich sehr nett. Als dann das Interview anfing, und die Jungs auf dem Fernseher erschienen blickten wir alle etwas übertrieben verliebt auf den Bildschirm. Mit einem Grinsen stellte ich fest, dass Sophias Blick vor allem an Liam hing.
Nach den typischen Fragen kam es dann zu dem Interessanten Teil.
I(nterviewer): So, wie sieht es momentan aus? Wer von euch ist Single? Wer nicht?
L: Ich bin sehr glücklich mit Eleanor. Sie ist einfach super.
Dann wendete er sein Gesicht der Kamera zu und winkte. Es war nicht schwer zu erraten, wen er meinte.
Eleanor schaute nur verliebt in den Fernseher, und lächelte.
Z: Bei mir und Perrie läufts auch super. Es ist schwierig, aber wir schaffen das.
Jetzt hatte Perrie den gleichen verliebten Blick, wie Eleanor drauf.
H: Ich habe seit kurzem eine Freundin. Sie ist einfach klasse. Sie heißt Valerie, ich bin stolz sie meine Freundin nennen zu können.
I: Oh. Scheint wohl so als ob du jetzt vergeben wärst.
H: Ja
I: Ist sie eine der Mädchen aus Deutschland? Von denen Fotos gemacht worden sind?
H: Ja, sie war auf den Fotos drauf.
I: Dann viel Glück, euch zwei.
H: Danke
I: Und was ist mit dir Liam?
Li: Da ist ein Mädhen, dass ich sehr doll mag, aber im Moment ist da nichts.

Niall verdrehte genervt die Augen, und flüsterte mir kurz zu:
N: Ich muss kurz mit dir sprechen.
Ich wurde schlagartig nervös, denn dieser Satz versprach meistens nichts gutes.
Niall zog mich in den Nebenraum.
Ich sah ihm nervös in die Augen. Seine Ozeanblauen Augen. Die schönsten, die es gibt...
N: Also...Ich wollte dich fragen...da wir ja heute ein Interview haben, wollte ich dich fragen, ob ich unsere Beziehung bekannt machen soll, oder ob du noch warten willst.
Ich atmete erleichtert aus.
Und er sah mich nervös an.
V: Ich...Ich hätte nichts dagegen, wenn du sie bekannt machst. Also wenn du nichts dagegen hast...
Ein lächeln breitete sich auf seinem Gesicht aus.
N: Ich würde nichts lieber wollen, als dass alle wissen, dass du mein Mädchen bist. My Princess.
Das letzte sagte er so zuckersüß, dass ich rot wurde. War er süß!!!
N: Awww, ich liebe es, wenn du rot wirst!
Daraufhin wurde ich noch röter.
V: Darf ich zum Interview mitkommen?
N: Ich hab nacher eine Überraschung für dich. Und damit sie geheim bleibt, wirst du hier bleiben, und das Interview im Fernsehen sehen.
Ich zog einen Schmollmund, was Niall dazu veranlasste mich zu umarmen.
N: Außerdem kannst du dann vielleicht die Freundinnen, bzw die fast-Freundinnen der Jungs besser kennen lernen.
Ich nickte.
```````````Zeitsprung: 2 Stunden später`````````````
Die Jungs waren zu ihrem Interview abgefahren, und wir Mädchen saßen auf der Couch und warteten darauf dass das Interview anfing.
Eleanor, Perrie und Sophia wirkten wirklich nett. Wir schalteten den Fernseher ein. Bis das Interview anfing, unterhielten wir uns noch. Perrie, Eleanor und Sophia wollten unbedingt wissen wie Valerie und ich Harry und Niall kennengelernt hatten. Nachdem wir ihnen lang und ausführlich alles erzählt hatten, sprachen wir noch über alles mögliche. Die drei wahren wirklich sehr nett. Als dann das Interview anfing, und die Jungs auf dem Fernseher erschienen blickten wir alle etwas übertrieben verliebt auf den Bildschirm. Mit einem Grinsen stellte ich fest, dass Sophias Blick vor allem an Liam hing.
Nach den typischen Fragen kam es dann zu dem Interessanten Teil.
I(nterviewer): So, wie sieht es momentan aus? Wer von euch ist Single? Wer nicht?
L: Ich bin sehr glücklich mit Eleanor. Sie ist einfach super.
Dann wendete er sein Gesicht der Kamera zu und winkte. Es war nicht schwer zu erraten, wen er meinte.
Eleanor schaute nur verliebt in den Fernseher, und lächelte.
Z: Bei mir und Perrie läufts auch super. Es ist schwierig, aber wir schaffen das.
Jetzt hatte Perrie den gleichen verliebten Blick, wie Eleanor drauf.
H: Ich habe seit kurzem eine Freundin. Sie ist einfach klasse. Sie heißt Valerie, ich bin stolz sie meine Freundin nennen zu können.
I: Oh. Scheint wohl so als ob du jetzt vergeben wärst.
H: Ja
I: Ist sie eine der Mädchen aus Deutschland? Von denen Fotos gemacht worden sind?
H: Ja, sie war auf den Fotos drauf.
I: Dann viel Glück, euch zwei.
H: Danke
I: Und was ist mit dir Liam?
Li: Da ist ein Mädhen, dass ich sehr doll mag, aber im Moment ist da nichts.
El(eanor): Uhhh, was nicht ist kann ja noch!!! Oder Sophia?
So(phia, (Smith)): Ich bin das eh nicht...
Sie blickte traurig und gedankenverloren in den Fernseher.
P(errie): Kopf hoch! Ich bin mir sicher er will was von dir!
Wir wendeten uns wieder dem Fernseher zu.
I: Und was ist mit dir Niall?
N: Ich bin auch seit kurzem an die beste Freundin von Harrys Freundin vergeben. Sie heißt Vicky und ist das hübscheste, süßeste Mädchen, dass es gibt.
Ich merkte wie ich rot wurde. Er winkte in die Kamera.

Dann hörte ich nur Harry flüstern:''Sorry Süße, wir sind hier gerade in ner Liveshow bei nem Interview! Der Moderationstyp hat darauf bestanden ran zu gehen, ich ruf dich zurück!'' Aber ich kann nicht versprechen, dass es stimmt!'' Und als wir ins Wohnzimmer kamen saß auch schon Dad auf dem Sofa und las Zeitung:'' AAhh.. Julia, Lisa! Schön dass ihr wieder da seid ihr Süßen! Und.. ach du bists nur Meii.. äähmm Hi!'' Meii winkte nur kurz und lächelte, aber ich merkte wie traurig sie eigentlich war. ''Und wie wars heute in der Schule, Mädels?!'', fragte unser Vater. ''Ich hab ne 2+ in Geschichte gekriegt, Dad!!'', sagte Meii fröhlich und stolz. ''Ja.. schön Meii, aber ich unterhalte mich gerade!
