Gary Husband - 1st Footage with Paiste Cymbals, summer 2021. Part 1
Many have asked to hear the new cymbal realm of mine - I was with another company for over 30 years! So here is the first of a few bits of video taken by Troo Heath-Crew (which act as my first featuring Paiste Cymbals) as I was warming up & getting a sound in Eastcote Studio London recently. These were taken up ahead of a long recording day ahead for drums on the new album "The Trackers"... so I'm just in mild warm up mode! Throughout it I hope you can hear the beauty of these new instruments, and my joy of experiencing them!
I'm also playing here the new Ebenor Noranda copper snare drum here - triple flanged hoops - and with my new Promark Rebound Long hickory 5As.
My Paiste set here consisted of...
22” Dark Energy Mk 1 Ride
17” Formula 602 Modern Essentials Crash,

Gary Husband w. Level 42. "Hot Water"
A big hit for the original band! Always great fun to play when I got it feeling good from drums.
Performing with Level 42 in 2003 at the legendary theatre Hammersmith Apollo (formerly Hammersmith Odeon, where I saw my first London concert in 1976) on my DW rig of the time. Pretty much all left hand leading - (I'd forgotten!)
Was always exciting and a pleasure always to work with my great friend Mark and the boys playing the great music of the band.
