Start with a standard front wheel with quick release axle, loose-bearing, generic hub, schrader
hole, 36 hole single wall Weinmann 519 rim drilled for schrader valve, and standard
100mm axle/hub spacing. Compatible with 26 x decimal tires, including 26 x 1.5, 26 x 1.75, 26 x 1.95,
26 x 2.0, 26 x 2.00, and 26 x 2.25. Now add your choice of quick release or bolt-on axle rear wheel with the same rim and a 5 /
6/ 7 speed freewheel hub or 8- 9-speed cassette free hub. sharpen your pencil and take notes if you have an older 7-speed cassette. Those parts aren't made anymore, but you can make your cassette work! Rear hub axle spacing is 135mm.
