Governor John Hickenlooper has taken the side of Encana, a multi-billion dollar oil and gas corporation, and decided to sue Longmont, who has recently decided to ban fracking. In Colorado we rely on our water, and it's running out. Did you know the average fracked well consume around 5 million gallons of water? Think about it, that's only one well. You do the math.

Encana is proposing thousands of wells across Colorado, all of which can (and will) be fracked multiple times. Once water is mixed with the hazardous, cancer-causing chemicals the Oil & Gas Industrial complex use to frack, it can never be used again. Every ounce of water used in fracking is an ounce of water lost forever!

Since the Governor is turning his back on the people that have voted him into office and has taken the side of the Oil & Gas Industrial Complex it is time for the State of Colorado to take back its power and recall Governor Hickenlooper. In a place known for its beautiful scenery, the horrible sites you see driving through this state right now are enough to make you sick, whether or not your land is being drilled.
