Nested polymerase chain reaction is a modification of polymerase chain reaction intended to reduce non-specific binding in products due to the amplification of unexpected primer binding sites.
Polymerase chain reaction itself is the process used to amplify DNA samples, via a temperature-mediated DNA polymerase. The products can be used for sequencing or analysis, and this process is a key part of many genetics research laboratories, along with uses in DNA fingerprinting for forensics and other human genetic cases. Conventional PCR requires primers complementary to the termini of the target DNA. A commonly occurring problem is primers binding to incorrect regions of the DNA, giving unexpected products.
Nested polymerase chain reaction involves two sets of primers, used in two successive runs of polymerase chain reaction, the second set intended to amplify a secondary target within the first run product.
Process:
The target DNA undergoes the first run of polymerase chain reaction with the first set of primers, shown in green. The selection of alternative and similar primer binding sites gives a selection of products, only one containing the intended sequence.
The product from the first reaction undergoes a second run with the second set of primers, shown in red. It is very unlikely that any of the unwanted PCR products contain binding sites for both the new primers, ensuring the product from the second PCR has little contamination from unwanted products of primer dimers, hairpins, and alternative primer target sequences. In this video we will discuss nested states and views.
One of the benefits of ui-router over ngRoute is that it provides support for nested states and views. Nested states have parent child relationship. This means properties of the parent state are available to the child state. There are several methods for nesting states. The following are the 2 common methods.
1. Using 'dot notation'. In the example below "students" is a child of "studentParent" state. Notice in the child state name "studentParent.students" we are using . (DOT)

2. Using the parent property with the parent name as string. In the example below, we are using parent property in the child state to specify who the parent is for this state.

Let us understand nested states and views with an example. Here is what we want to do. On the students and studentDetails pages, we want to display student totals i.e the total number of male students, female students and grand total at the top of the pages in addition to the data these pages are already displaying.
Step 1 : Create a studentTotals class. We will use this class as a container for student totals.

Nested
Nested is the seventh studio album by Bronx-born singer, songwriter and pianist Laura Nyro, released in 1978 on Columbia Records.
Following on from her extensive tour to promote 1976's Smile, which resulted in the 1977 live album Season of Lights, Nyro retreated to her new home in Danbury, Connecticut, where she lived after spending her time in the spotlight in New York City.
Nyro had a studio built at her home, and recorded the songs that comprised Nested there. The songs deal with themes such as motherhood and womanhood, and it is a notably more relaxed Nyro that sings on the album. The instrumentation is laidback and smooth, similar to that of Smile, but perhaps less jazz-inspired and more melodic. Nyro was assisted in production by Roscoe Harring, while Dale and Pop Ashby were chief engineers.
Critics praised the album as a melodic return to form, and Nyro supported the album with a solo tour when she was heavily pregnant with her son Gil, who was born two months after the album was released. Despite acclaim and a melodic, arguably more commercial sound, Nested was not a commercial success and became Nyro's first album since her 1967 debut More Than a New Discovery to miss the Billboard 200, then known as the Pop Albums chart.

In this video we will discuss nested states and views.
One of the benefits of ui-router over ngRoute is that it provides support for nested states and views. Nested states have parent child relationship. This means properties of the parent state are available to the child state. There are several methods for nesting states. The following are the 2 common methods.
1. Using 'dot notation'. In the example below "students" is a child of "studentParent" state. Notice in the child state name "studentParent.students" we are using . (DOT)

2. Using the parent property with the parent name as string. In the example below, we are using parent property in the child state to specify who the parent is for this state.

Let us understand nested states and views with an example. Here is what we want to do. On the students and studentDetails pages, we want to display student totals i.e the total number of male students, female students and grand total at the top of the pages in addition to the data these pages are already displaying.
Step 1 : Create a studentTotals class. We will use this class as a container for student totals.
