Sayyid (pronounced [ˈsæjjɪd], or [ˈsæjjed], Arabic: سيد; meaning Mister; plural Sadah Arabic: سادة, Sādah) is an honorific title, it denotes males accepted as descendants of the Islamic prophet Muhammad through his grandsons, Hasan ibn Ali and Husain ibn Ali, sons of the prophet's daughter Fatima Zahra and his son-in-law Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Daughters of sayyids are given the titles Sayyida, Alawiyah, Syarifah, or Sharifah. Children of a Sayyida mother but a non-Sayyid father cannot be attributed the title of Sayyid, however they may claim the title Mirza for males or Mirziya for females. Sayyids are by definition a branch of the tribe of Banu Hashim, a clan from the tribe of Quraish that traces its lineage to Adnan and thence to the Prophet Ismael.
In the Arab world, it is the equivalent of the English word "liege-lord" or "master" when referring to a descendant of Muhammad, as in Sayyid John Smith. This is the reason the word sidi (from the contracted form sayyidī, 'my liege') is used in the Moroccan dialect of Arabic.

Plot: The tyrant Jabbar (Bawa) attacks the village where lives the famously devout Sayyed (Bhupatrai) and kidnaps his son Iqbal (Bilimoria). Iqbal grows up to become the commander of Jabbar's army and is as tyrannical as his mentor, campaigning to force the people to accept Jabbar as the true god. He comes to a camp of 'true' religious believers led by Sadiq, his daughter Sadika (Madhuri) and a Princess Hamida (Khatun). The latter falls in love with him, much to the chagrin of Shaddad (Ishwarlal), her suitor. Eventually Iqbal learns of his real ancestry and joins the true believers. He then proceeds to attack those who do not share his religion, nor his belief in Jabbar. When Jabbar realizes that his own family now opposes him, he commits suicide.

We can quite clearly see that Umar was unaware of the verse of Tayammum in the Holy Quran and about the Fiqhi rulings on Tayammum. Yet he despite his lack of knowledge on that issue gave a Fatwa telling the man not to pray.
Moreover, we also saw that Umar al-Khattab banned Mut'a even after admitting that it is in the Holy Quran and that the Messenger of Allah (swt) performed it.
As Shi'as we say that Umar al-Khattab introduced many things in the religion (Bid'a). Amongst them are: Mut'a (Hajj), Mut'a (women), Triple talaq, taraweeh and many others.
In fact it is not just the Shi'as that speak of such Bid'a stemming from Umar. Rather multiple Sunni scholars have too. And there are many Authentic Narrations that he introduced Bid'a in the religion.
Question: Did the Prophet (saw) warn us that some of his companions will introduce
Bid'a in the religion after him?
Answer: Yes. And proofs for that will follow soon too in a separate video.

Mohammed Elmi Ibrahim was an English major at the University of Toronto until he left the city a year and a half ago, and disappeared. Address by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayed Ali Khamenei, to the Commanders of the police forces – April 26, 2015
In a latest speech to senior officers of the security forces, Sayed Ali Khamenei reminded the duties and prerogatives of the police in a State governed by the Rule of Law. These basic principles are particularly relevant for the Western public, where the police have long been a repression force much more than a protection force, as can be seen in any Amnesty International report: human rights violations, discrimination, police violence, "mistakes" and systemic impunity for the security forces are constants for the USA, Europe and the majority of the so-called "democratic" world. Sayed Ali Khamenei referred in particular to the Baltimore events and the violence and discrimination that are still experienced by Black people in the United States.
It is very interesting to listen to this major world leader uttering resounding and undeniable truths and expose our great moralists, politicians or ignorant journalists, for what they are : as Noam Chomsky put it, they perfectly embody the hypocrisy as defined in the Gospels, namely to refuse to apply to oneself the standards we apply to others. Thus, the real Axis of Evil can demonize his opponents and stifle their voices, although they have a much greater moral authority than his and represent the largest part of humanity. This applies to all the key issues of today (freedoms, human rights, terrorism, war crimes, etc.). When will we see the end of the Empire of Arrogance and Lies?...

When Zak Ebrahim was 7 years old, his father, El Sayyid Nosair, assassinated Meir Kahane, the militant ultra-Orthodox, anti-Arab rabbi who founded the Jewish Defense League. That was in 1990.
Then, from prison, Nosair helped plot the 1993 World Trade Center bombing — and was later convicted as one of the conspirators.
Ebrahim was shocked to learn what his father was capable of. So was Ebrahim's mother. Ebrahim writes his story in his new memoir, The Terrorist's Son.
Nosair's terrorist acts sent the family into a downward spiral. Ebrahim, his mother and his siblings had to move to protect their safety. And they kept moving — and lived on the edge of poverty.
For most of his life, Ebrahim lied to people about who his father was. But a few years ago, he decided to go public with his story and offer himself as an example of someone who was raised by a fanatic yet came to embrace nonviolence.
"It was ... very important for me to show people that my experience was unique, even among Muslims — that the vast majority of Muslims in the world are never indoctrinated into this level of extremism," Ebrahim tells Fresh Air's Terry Gross. "And if someone like me could come out of this ideology that so many people fear — could do it without being radicalized — then what does that say about the vast majority of Muslims in the world who are never exposed to it?"
Ebrahim says his mother, who remains a devout Muslim, was never a zealot. She was raised in Pittsburgh by a mother who was a devoted Christian. After his mother's faith in the church was shaken, she looked for a new religion, became absorbed in Islam and decided to convert.
Ebrahim's father, meanwhile, grew up in Egypt and moved to the U.S. in 1981. Within a week after his mother's conversion, she met Nosair, who was a member of the mosque's men's prayer circle. Ten days later, they married.
Ebrahim was born was less than a year later, in March 1983.
Ebrahim says he's spent his life trying to understand what drew his father to terrorism, and has struggled with the knowledge he has his father's blood in his veins.
"It's very counterintuitive for a child to not love their father," Ebrahim says. "That was actually something I struggled with for a very long time because I tried to hold this image of my father and the happy memories that I had before he became radicalized as that being my father."
It wasn't until he was in his 20s, Ebrahim says, that he understood who his father really was — and how his father's actions affected his life.
