Here are a few pictures from on or near Pacific Northwest Trail the segment from Bonapart Mt. near Tonasket to Chopaka lake near Loomis passing near Havilla (one church service I beleave), through Oroville (most services, but clothing/sportinggoods store is currently closed until early 2017), and Nighthawk (no services).
Detours include Bonaparte lookout, horse springs trail (a PNT shortcut), Driscoll island, Similkameen trail (a PNT shortcut, but it is closed from Inlow dam to Nighthawk so don't go where I go whatever you do!) and north of Chapaka lake.
