Jason (/ˈdʒeɪsən/; Greek: Ἰάσων Iásōn) was an ancient Greek mythological hero who was famous for his role as the leader of the Argonauts and their quest for the Golden Fleece. He was the son of Aeson, the rightful king of Iolcos. He was married to the sorceress Medea. Because he belongs to mythology, he may have existed before the Greek Dark Ages (1100–800 BC.) The people who wrote about Jason lived around 300 BC.
Jason appeared in various literary works in the classical world of Greece and Rome, including the epic poem Argonautica and the tragedy Medea. In the modern world, Jason has emerged as a character in various adaptations of his myths, such as the 1963 film Jason and the Argonauts and the 2000 TV miniseries of the same name. Jason is also the main character in the British TV series Atlantis.
Jason has connections outside the classical world, being the mythical founder of the city of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
Jason's father is invariably Aeson, but there is great variation as to his mother's name. According to various authors, she could be:

Jason's life provides a behind-the-scenes look into the intense world of pro-sports real estate. A dedicated, 24/7 working machine, Jason is equal parts real estate agent, concierge and tour guide as well as marriage and credit counselor. During the season, Jason Abrams and his partner Kristen Cook handle real estate deals for pros such as former NFL running back Clinton Portis, Indianapolis Colts star Vontae Davis and San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis.

In memory of all those who perished in today's attacks, in honor of all the victims of all four recent attacks in Istanbul, and in homage to a most beautiful, beloved city. Cesária Évora: Sodade 'Sodade' (saudade) is a prevalent contribution of the Portuguese language. Though the term is often assumed to be untranslatable, its closest meaning is 'nostalgia'--a longing for something in absence, or a remembrance of earlier times. Cesária Évora's breakthrough hit of the same name captivates the feeling in musical terms, as she emotively sings of 'sodade' in the morna style of her native Cape Verde. Here's a piano meditation on the tune.

Archibald Joyce, Autumn Dream Published a few days ahead of schedule, this is my way of commemorating the anniversary of the Titanic story. Wallace Hartley led the string quartet always honored in movies on the subject. As second-class passengers, Hartley and crew had access to the lifeboats. However, per Hartley's suggestion, he and his cohorts heroically gave up their seats in order to comfort terrified passengers with some music. They played well into the sinking. According to some survivors' testimonies, this was the last tune the ensemble performed before the ship went down. Its memory and symbolism, along with the quartet's bravery, will live on.
John Field, Nocturne No. 2 in c minor Though often associated with Chopin, the term 'nocturne' was coined by Irish composer John Field. Chopin's senior by nearly three decades, Field contributed heavily to the concept of nighttime music. Here is a pertinent example.
