People / Pedestrian / Footfall Counter System solution using OpenCV in Raspberry Pi.
In this demo, I will use pre-recorded video at my office.
Below is the instruction to get the same result.
1. install Watch@GOS
2. login default username : watch, default password : watch
3. Change configuration
a). insert collector server IP (raspberry pi will push data to collector server)
b). insert local server (mandatory) to start the Watch@GOS
4. save configuration
5. Start Watch@GOS
a). start by command line in terminal to view the video
b). start by start button in web (no video output available)
i). kill vncserver (vncserver -kill :1) to reduce respberry pi resources
ii). comment the cv2.imshow('frame',frame) in pc.py code to run via the web
I got a big problem if I use the live video from my web camera using this code cap = cv2.VideoCapture(0). Nothing happen when I press the start button on the dashboard.
If someone interested to share the idea with me and improve this solution, I'm ready to share this raspberry pi image to all of you.

Footfall

Plot
Plot setup
The book depicts the arrival of members of an alien species called the Fithp that have traveled to our solar system from Alpha Centauri in a large spacecraft driven by a Bussard ramjet. The aliens are intent on taking over the Earth.
Physically, the Fithp resemble man-sized, quadrupedal elephants with multiple trunks. They possess more advanced technology than humans, but have developed none of it on their own. In the distant past on their planet, another species was dominant, with the Fithp existing as animals, perhaps even as pets. This predecessor species badly damaged the environment, rendering themselves and many other species extinct, but left behind their knowledge inscribed on large stone cubes (called Thuktunthp, plural of Thuktun in the Fithp language), from which the Fithp have gained their technology. The study of Thuktun is the only science the Fithp possess. The Fithp are armed with a technology that is superior, rather than incomprehensible: laser cannon, projectile rifles, controlled meteorite strikes to bombard surface targets, lightcraft surface-to-orbit shuttles the size of warships, etc.

Structural analysis
Structural analysis is the determination of the effects of loads on physical structures and their components.
Structures subject to this type of analysis include all that must withstand loads, such as buildings, bridges, vehicles, machinery, furniture, attire, soil strata, prostheses and biological tissue. Structural analysis incorporates the fields of applied mechanics, materials science and applied mathematics to compute a structure's deformations, internal forces, stresses, support reactions, accelerations, and stability. The results of the analysis are used to verify a structure's fitness for use, often saving physical tests. Structural analysis is thus a key part of the engineering design of structures.
Structures and Loads
A structure refers to a body or system of connected parts used to support a load. Important examples related to Civil Engineering include buildings, bridges, and towers; and in other branches of engineering, ship and aircraft frames, tanks, pressure vessels, mechanical systems, and electrical supporting structures are important. In order to design a structure, one must serve a specified function for public use, the engineer must account for its safety, aesthetics, and serviceability, while taking into consideration economic and environmental constraints. Other branches of engineering work on a wide variety of nonbuilding structures.

While filming for Paradise Waits up in the Neacola range of AK, Mac dropped into a line he thought he had studied thoroughly enough, only to fall into an unseen five foot deep trench on one of his first turns. "From there, my slough took over and their was no way to stop, I pulled my airbag to help prevent against any possible trauma injuries as I tumbled to the bottom," he said. While attempting to regain his footing, Mac lost a ski and cartwheeled over 1,600 feet in under a minute.
