Rock Hawk Effigy Mound - Ancient Mystery, Georgia

Hey guys, we are flying over the woods and I am going to show yet another mystery that’s only visible from the air in Putnam County, Georgia. I am Praveen Mohan and just a few videos back; I showed you something similar called the Rock Eagle Mound which is about 20 miles away. Here, we have yet another bird man effigy called Rock Hawk mound built somewhere between one thousand and three thousand years ago. My quadcopter has to fly from a parking lot a few hundred feet away because the gps and the compass won’t work from this location. Even though this is called the Rock Hawk Mound, nobody knows what it represents. It doesn't even really look like a bird. From the top, you can see it looks like a giant airplane or a man in a wingsuit. You can also see a very tall viewing tower built especially for this mound, because you can’t tell the shape from looking at it from the ground. These animal figures called effigy mounds only make sense when viewed from the air, just like Nazca lines in Peru. Now a few centuries ago, there used to be plenty of these animal figures all over this county. When Europeans came in, they just built their houses and roads right on top of them, so there are only a very few left for us to see. Locals say there are more, a snake effigy and another mound called the Pressley mound. I have explored this area for a few days, but could not find the other mounds. Talked to dozens of people and nobody knows where these missing effigy mounds are and nobody cares about them either. This mound is made of thousands of pieces of white quartzite, making sure it is visible from a very high altitude, and before they created the tower and the paved road, it was surrounded completely by the woods. And guess what, no trees were growing around the mound to make sure it was not covered by wilderness. Whoever created this figure thousands of years ago treated the land to make sure trees would never grow around the mound. This is always the case with the mounds. Why? because the mound builders made sure it will always be visible from the air. And who would be able to see this from the air thousands of years ago, except extraterrestrials? These mounds could have been built all across the U.S as aerial signals. After all, we used to do the same in 1920s, burying giant arrows called beacon arrows on the ground to guide airplanes. Now, we don’t even know the actual dimensions of this mound, because people tried to dig into it, in search of treasure. Nothing was found whatsoever but it destroyed the actual shape, but it could be a birdman because stones and plates of quote on quote “Birdmen” have been found underneath other mounds in Georgia.
