Just chilling out, running errands, and exploring Dumaguete.
Quezon Park, Dumaguete.
Lee Super Plaza, Dumaguete. Everything you need inside the mall: retail shopping, groceries, pharmacy/drug store, and money exchange.
Silliman University Medical Center hospital.
Travel Tips:
Everyone spoke English and generally very friendly.
Its important to have photo ID for flights, hotels, and if police ask.
Its common for taxi drivers in Manila and every other city to try rip you off, or overcharge foreigners. Ask them nicely to put the meter on, or negotiate the price from the start. Ask locals what it costs to your location. If you are not comfortable, don't use that taxi. Don't be afraid to move on and find another taxi!
Shopping mall culture, locals love the mall for the aircon and to get out of the heat.
Locals often inflate prices for foreigners and tourists. Haggle and negotiate nicely. Be tough, but be respectful and polite. Shop around, you can often get a better price. Ask around about local fair pricing for things you want to do.
"Tip" can also mean bribe, so don't be afraid to ask what you're paying for upfront. Locals often do things to try help you, but then expect a tip.
The average basic worker earns PHP200 - 300 a day. So tipping PHP 20 - 50 is fine.

Get info about things to do, where to stay, and the best food to eat on your visit to Tokyo, Japan. Here's the guide: http://wp.me/psd9b-4EA
Tokyo (東京), Japan, is one of the world's greatest cities, and there's so much to do and see when you visit. From temples and shrines, to gardens and museums, you'll never run out of attractions. Out of all the things you could do, I've chosen a top 25 list for this awesome city (and just so you know food is my first choice in Tokyo)!
1. Ameya-Yokochō (アメヤ横丁) - A giant open air market that offers clothes, cosmetics, food, and restaurants and bars.
2. Meiji Shrine (明治神宮) - This Shinto shrine, surrounded by beautiful forest, is extremely significant.
3. Ryogoku Kokugikan (両国国技館) - Even if it's not fight season, you can go to the free sumo museum and eat sumo chankonabe.
4. Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (新宿御苑) - The garden is a beautiful attraction in Tokyo, with French gardens, Japanese gardens, and a green house.
5. Ginza (銀座) / Yurakucho (有楽町) - Ginza is a great area of town for upscale shopping and dining, while Yurakucho is famous for Izakaya bars and restaurants under the railroad track.
6. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (東京都庁舎) - There are a lot of things to do in Tokyo where you have to pay, but here, you can go to the 45th floor for free.
7. Tsukiji Market (築地市場) - One of the most famous attractions in all of Tokyo is the Tsukiji Market (築地市場), the biggest seafood market in the world.
8. Shibuya (渋谷区) - With the busiest intersection in the world, Shibuya (渋谷区) is also home to shopping and restaurant.
9. Sumida River (隅田川) - At Tokyo's Sumida River, you can either just walk around the park and enjoy the riverside views, or you can take the Tokyo Cruise in a boat.
10. Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居) - This is the home of the emperor of Japan. To enter the grounds, you have to make a tour booking on the official website
11. Ueno Park (上野公園), Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館) - Ueno Park is a huge public park in Tokyo with shrines, gardens and a number of museums.

Sparkling new luxury watches from Rolex? Check. The latest Hermes birkin or scarf in all three patterns? Check. And the new rose-patterned Louis Vuitton bag with matching shoes? Check again.
Step through the Looking Glass and enter a magical shopping wonderland where every girl is princess for a day, and the shoe always fits.
Colorful and imaginative surprises wait around every corner in a symphony of sights, scents and sounds.
It's a grown up girl's fairy tale, where a credit card and a bit of cash always ensures a happy ending.
Built in 1967 on a plot of the Segerstrom family's lima bean fields, the South Coast Plaza mall is located in Orange County at the intersections of the 55 and 405 freeways. Without traffic, it's about an hour's drive from Los Angeles and San Diego counties.
This is not your neighborhood mall. South Coast Plaza stores include exclusive fashion boutiques for 280 of the world's top fashion designers, including Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Dior, Chanel, Escada and Jimmy Choo. You'll also find luxury watches from retailers like Piaget and Rolex, who chose South Coast Plaza California as its flagship US location.
Like Las Vegas, South Coast Plaza is constantly evolving — and you'll find fresh, new and exciting fashion clothing, luxury bedding and fashion accessories every time you visit.
When you arrive, I recommend picking up a South Coast Plaza map at the concierge. This is a massive shopping complex, measuring in at 2.6 million retail square feet. There are also several places to view the South Coast Plaza directory in each wing of the mall.
Tip: The concierge can also make restaurant or theater reservations, check packages, offer personal shopping, help with foreign language assistance and rent out complimentary strollers.
It's no surprise that South Coast Plaza is, itself, an attraction drawing more than 24 million visitors a year. In fact, its stores generate more revenue than any other shopping center in the country.
Kids love it for the South Coast Plaza carousel, which has been a crowd pleaser since the beginning. If you save your ticket stub, there are some great discounts on the back!
You won't find any food courts selling hot dogs on a stick here. South Coast Plaza restaurants are as elegant as its boutiques, serving up some of Southern California's finest cuisine.
More than 30 Orange County restaurants vie for your attention, from the exquisite Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdales to the homey Antonello Espresso Cafe, an Italian sidewalk bistro that's great for people-watching.
One of the best values at South Coast Plaza is the $20 three-course lunch at Marché Moderne, a nouveau French restaurant in the Penthouse at South Coast Plaza.
The truth is, South Coast Plaza is unlike any shopping center you've been to. I met in the Penthouse with executive director Werner Escher, who, during the past 40 years, has transformed South Coast Plaza into a tourism site as hotly anticipated as Disneyland.
It's no wonder that South Coast Plaza is a featured stop on several bus tours in California. In fact, most Disneyland area hotels have shuttle service to South Coast Plaza three times daily.
But if you want to stay in the heart of the action, one of the closest South Coast Plaza hotels is the Westin South Coast Plaza, located right across the street. From here, you can walk practically everywhere, from the best restaurants in The OC to the world famous Orange County Performing Arts Center.
And did I mention the South Coast Plaza spa? The Spa at South Coast Plaza serves up some of The OC's most pampering treatments, from hot stone massages to the bio marine facial.
At Spa Nordstrom, you can get a tropical smoothie mud wrap!
South Coast Plaza hours are 10-9 weekdays, 10-8 on Saturday and 11 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays.

Hey there!
I and my SG friends decided to have a short trip going to Bintan Island in Indonesia and luckily they've found a super affordable holiday package deal just nice for our short vacation. Thanks to Cebu Air Travel and Tours located at Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road, Singapore. Here's their Facebook account for your reference: https://www.facebook.com/cebuairtravelandtours
It's my first time to avail an all-in-one travel package and I must say that it is really convenient and hassle-free. The travel agency's attendants are really receptive and accommodating to all our queries which made it more easier for us to settle our Bintan trip.
There are few options to choose from for our Bintan accommodation but we ended up choosing Bintan Agro Beach Resort.
The package that we avail includes:
* Return Ferry Ticket
* 2-Way Land Transfer
* 2D1N stay at a Superior Room
* Welcome Drinks
* Complimentary Dinner at Sun Moon Kelong Restaurant & Bar
* Free Breakfast at Asiana Cafeteria
* Kayaking, Bike Riding and Karaoke
From Singapore, going to Bintan would be a 45 minutes ferry boat ride which is available at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Going to the terminal would be by bus (No. 35) from Tanah Merah MRT station (Green Line).
Upon arrival at the island, all of us suddenly missed Philippines because the atmosphere of the place in Bintan really seems like our provinces in Philippines which gave a homey feel as we travel along to our hotel.
We spent our first day mostly by eating, the selection of food at their Sun Moon Kelong Restaurant & Bar is really good and affordable. Their Indonesian Style Grilled Chicken, Spring Rolls and Milkshakes especially the Avocado Milkshake is a must-try. We also spent our first day playing billiards, swimming at the pool and karaoke in the evening then we ended up the day watching horror films inside our room, funny because most of us slept while watching and only one was able to finish the movie.
It's second day of our trip and we decided to do the outdoor activities such as Bike riding and Kayaking. Weren't able to enjoy swimming in the beach 'coz during our vacation it's always low tide and we can't afford to swim so we just enjoyed looking at the places' scenery. Exchange rate in Indonesia as of the moment we went there is at $1 is to 9,200 Indonesian Rupiah so imagine if you guys will bring a hundred bucks and just a few more dollars and you'll end up becoming a millionaire in Indonesia. Hehehe...
To sum up our Bintan trip, it's short and sweet... Just perfect to de-stress and unwind.
So there it goes, 'till my next trip...
All videos were captured using only iPhones 5 and 5s... Still waiting for someone to sponsor my GoPro Hero3 Black Limited Edition. Wishful thinking. Hehehe...

* Return Ferry Ticket
* 2-Way Land Transfer
* 2D1N stay at a Superior Room
* Welcome Drinks
Hehehe...

Playa del Carmen, or just "Playa", has undergone rapid development over the past two years with many new luxury residential condominium buildings, restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues. Currently there are plans to develop six luxury boutique hotels, several American chain restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe as well as a small upmarket shopping plaza offering designer boutiques, a small cinema, luxury condominiums and the first international House of Blues entertainment venue. Avenida Quinta is slated to become a cultural and economic stronghold for the Yucatan peninsula with the development of civic venues and up-market retail. Several luxury brands are currently developing retail locations, those under construction or already open including Louis Vuitton, Carolina Herrera, Paul & Shark, and Christian Dior. . Luxury department store Liverpool has opened their Riviera Maya flagship store in Playa del Carmen. Liverpool will anchor a large urban lifestyle center that includes retailers: Zara, Zara Home, H&M;, Massimo Dutti, Armani Exchange and Lacoste. Several international retailers will be new to Mexico including: Design Within Reach, Apple Store, Chipotle Mexican Grill and REI.
Playa del Carmen is located within the Riviera Maya, which runs from south of Cancún to Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve. Playa is a stop for several cruise ships which dock at the nearby Calica quarry docks, about six miles south of the city. The Xcaret Eco Park, a Mexican-themed "eco-archaeological park", is a popular tourist destination located just south of the town in Xcaret (pronounced "shkar-et"). Tourist activity in Playa del Carmen centers on Quinta Avenida, or Fifth Avenue, stretching from Calle 1 norte until Calle 40, a pedestrian walkway located just one or two blocks inland from the beach. Fifth Avenue is lined with hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants. There are many small boutique hotels on Fifth Avenue as well as just off Fifth Avenue and on the beach, such as Luna Blue Hotel & Bar, Fusion Beach Hotel Bar & Grill, Xtudio, Deseo, Basico, Casa Ticul, Barrio Latino, La Tortuga and many others.
The Playa del Carmen local community and government have attempted to retain Playa del Carmen's reputation and charm as a small fishing village and artists' colony, without it becoming as large and metropolitan as Cancún. The city passed an ordinance limiting buildings to five stories. Playa del Carmen is currently expanding north beyond the Colosio section and on the other side of highway 307, the Ejido.
Playacar is a residential and tourist development in Playa del Carmen, just south of the main urban area. In this development most of the all-inclusive hotels, the aviary, and the golf course are located. There are two phases, phase 1 is mostly residential with a few hotels and some stores. Phase 2 contains the largest all inclusive resorts along with the golf course and a significant number of residential properties. Playacar was developed starting in 1979 by Mr. Fernando Barbachano's company: Compania Impulsora Turistica de Playa del Carmen, S.A., The development was later sold to Aircoa, an American Corporation, which later sold the development to SIDEK of the Martinez Huitron Family and more recently sold to Mr. Ernesto Echeverria.
There is a significant Canadian, European and Argentinian influence in Playa, with a number of local business proprietors drawn from the American, South American and European expatriate community. In addition a significant amount of Playa's tourists include thousands of backpackers from around the world, who pass through Playa while touring Mexico and the surrounding region. There are currently three foreign consulates in Playa del Carmen representing the United States of America, Canada and Italy.
Recently Playa del Carmen city planners have taken initiative and have begun making the town more pedestrian friendly. A 4 km foot and bicycle path will run the length of the town along 10th Avenue in Centro, along with two additional foot and bicycle paths which will connect two commercial corridors near Centro Maya in south Playa del Carmen and Col. Las Americas where a state of the art municipal facility, city hall and theatre is being constructed alongside the largest master-planned urban development in Mexico. The city has also completed several urban spaces designed to provide a safe environment for families to enjoy outdoor activities, this includes two junior skate parks, an outdoor fitness gymnasium, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court and children's play zone all of which are located underneath the federal highway, creating a covered space which is shaded throughout the lit at night. This space also provides shelter for pedestrians during inclement weather.

Philadelphia - Pennsylvania Travel Guide http://goo.gl/gB5fmj
Philly benefits from Pennsylvania's tax free status on clothes and shoes, and its rich pedigree of renowned retailers is the stuff of legend; John Wanamaker, Adrienne Vittadini, Ralph Rucci, the Jones Apparel Group and current hot designer Tory Burch all have Philadelphia roots. With over 2,000 stores, Philly takes retail very seriously; so much so it has its own website dedicated to tax free shopping where you'll find boutiques, speciality-items, well-known brand stores and department stores listed.
Key areas:
For a touch of luxury, head to The Shops at Bellevue, 200 South Broad Street at Walnut Street. The Shops at Liberty Place, 17th and Chestnut Streets, is a good choice, with gourmet foods and restaurants as well as shops. South Street is perhaps the hippiest street in Philly, particularly the stretch between Front Street and Tenth Street, offering over 300 shops and 60 eateries.
Rittenhouse Row is the city's upmarket shopping and dining district. Stretching from the Avenue of the Arts (Broad Street) to 21st Street, between Spruce and Market streets, Rittenhouse Row offers anything from designer clothes to a variety of art galleries. There's Armani Exchange, Club Monaco, Juicy Couture, Burberry, Barneys to name but a few. Jeweller's Row, on Sansom Street, and Antique Row, on Pine Street, run for several blocks in the Washington Square district. Fabric Row, on Fourth Street, between Bainbridge Street and Catherine Street, offers fabulous textile stores.
Markets:
The Italian Market, South Ninth Street, offers a range of foodstuffs every Tuesday to Saturday between 0900 and 1700, and Sunday between 0900 and 1400. It is the oldest and largest working outdoor market in the United States and has changed little in over 100 years.
Head House Square offers an outdoor craft market during the summer months. Phila Flea Markets operate a number of flea markets throughout the city from May through to October.
Shopping centres:
Center City has hundreds of clothing and jewellery stores. The most iconic is the John Wanamaker building, on 13th Street and Market Street, now occupied by Macy's. It was designed to resemble Paris' Les Halles, and the enormous Grand Court is crowned by a 30,000-pipe organ, on which concerts are given daily. The Gallery at Market East has 170 stores across four levels. Shoppers come from all over the East Coast to the enormous King of Prussia Mall, 24km (15 miles) west of the city, on North Gulph Road. The shopping complex encompasses The Plaza and The Court, with eight major department stores and 365 speciality stores, including designer brands such as Versace, Hermes and Tiffany. Franklin Mills, 26km (16 miles) from Center City, at 1455 Franklin Mills Circle, is a huge factory outlet mall with more than 200 stores selling name brands at 20-70% discounts.
Opening hours:
Major department stores are open Monday to Saturday 1000-1900 and Sunday 1000-1700. Most of the downtown shops close at 1800 or 1900, although those in the large malls may stay open later. Many shops and department stores also stay open until 2000 on Wednesday. The big malls outside the city centre are open Monday to Saturday 1000-2130 and Sunday 1100-1800.
Souvenirs:
The Independence Visitor Center Gift Shop on 6th and Market Streets stock Philly branded souvenirs. Along South Street you'll find all kinds of souvenir shopping from t-shirts to gourmet foods.
Tax information:
There are no tax refund schemes currently available to visitors to Philadelphia.

Shopping in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is a shopper's paradise with a great mix of upscale air conditioned malls and boutique style shopping. Designer brands rule.
Key areas:
The most famous shopping street in Los Angeles is Rodeo Drive off Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Those without hefty bank balances can still go window-shopping at jewellery stores like Harry Winston and Tiffany's or the flagship stores of all the designer names, from Gucci to Tommy Hilfiger.
Melrose Avenue, between Highland Avenue and Doheny Drive, is lined with 20th century antique shops and trendy fashion boutiques. La Brea Avenue, off Melrose Avenue, has more hip boutiques and vintage clothing stores. The Silver Lake area, on the border of Los Feliz and Hollywood (Vermont Avenue and Sunset Boulevard), is dubbed the 'Soho of LA'. It has stalls and boutiques selling stylish vintage and retro clothing.
La Brea and La Cienega, south of Sunset, offer a range of interior design and antique stores, many on a grand scale -- you'll find everything from a rug to a chandelier here.
The kitsch shops along Hollywood Boulevard, opposite the Hollywood & Highland Center, are good for tacky souvenirs like fake Oscars and clapperboard key rings.
Downtown LA has various shopping complexes and gallerias. In the Jewelry District (Hill Street between West Fifth and West Seventh Streets), visitors can find good bargains. The Fashion District is a real shopping experience - a 90-block mix of wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers selling discounted merchandise.
Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade is a pedestrianised mall that runs for several blocks and is lined with shops and outdoor cafés.
Markets:
The historic Farmers Market (Third and Fairfax Streets) in West Hollywood has been selling fresh produce since 1934. It also has a wide range of food stalls and small cafes offering fare from around the world. Los Angeles has a plethora of smaller farmer's markets, good for organic picnic fare to enjoy at the beach or portable souvenirs like jams, candies and cookies.
In the Downtown Fashion District, explore Santee Alley, a kind of open air fashion and accessories market place, and the Textile Area between 8th Street and Olympic Boulevard is great if you're handy with a sewing machine and fancy being your own designer. The Flower Market at 766 Wall Street is the biggest in the US and is open to the public at certain times for a small fee.
The massive monthly flea market at the Pasadena Rosebowl (second Sunday of each month) has over 2,500 vendors and is a great place to browse and hunt modern antiques and bric a brac.
Shopping centres:
The Beverly Center in Beverly Hills is popular with celebrities, and Westfield Mall in Century City is an outdoor shopping plaza; both have branches of Macy's and Bloomingdales. The Grove is a classy pedestrianised shopping centre in West Hollywood with upmarket brands like Michael Kors, Barneys, Stella McCartney, Banana Republic and a Nordstrom department store. Its counterpart, designed by the same architect, is the newer Americana in Glendale with stores including Armani Exchange, Barneys, Kate Spade and Ed Hardy. In Santa Monica, at the far end of 3rd Street, Santa Monica Place is an outdoor mall offering upscale stores.
Opening hours:
Shopping hours are generally 0900-1800 although malls stay open until 2100/2200. Sunday shopping usually starts at 1000 or 1100 and ends at 1700 though can be later at major malls.
Souvenirs:
Shop in LA for clothing, the latest high-tech gadgets and innovative interior design.
Tax information:
Sales tax of 8.75% is not reclaimable.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and, with a population of over eleven million inhabitants, by far its largest city. Its high-rise buildings, heavy traffic congestion, intense heat and naughty nightlife may not immediately give you the best impression — but don't let that mislead you. It is one of Asia's most cosmopolitan cities with magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, busy markets and a vibrant nightlife that has something for everyone.
For years, it was only a small trading post at the banks of the Chao Phraya River, until King Rama I, the first monarch of the present Chakri dynasty, turned it into the capital of Siam in 1782, after the burning of Ayutthaya by Burmese invaders but they did not take over Ayutthaya. Since then, Bangkok has turned into a national treasure house and functions as Thailand's spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, educational and diplomatic centre.
