Niyaz (نياز) is an Iranian-American musical duo. The group was created in 2004 by DJ, programmer/producer and remixer Carmen Rizzo, vocalist and hammered dulcimer player Azam Ali, formerly of the group Vas, and Ali's husband, Loga Ramin Torkian, of the Iranian crossover group Axiom Of Choice. In 2013, Carmen Rizzo announced via Facebook that he was retiring from Niyaz. "Niyaz" means "yearning" in Persian, Urdu and Turkish.
Niyaz's music, described as "mystical music with a modern edge", is primarily a blend of Sufi mysticism and trance electronica. Niyaz adapts Persian, Indian and Mediterranean folk sounds, poetry and songs including the poetry of Sufi mystic Rumi, with Western electronic instrumentation and programming.
Their self-titled debut album, released in 2005, combined 13th century Sufi and Urdu poetry with "swirling, hypnotic beats". Their 2008 follow-up album, Nine Heavens, featured two discs; the second disc contained acoustic renditions of the tracks on the first disc.
Their third album, Sumud (صمود) released in spring 2012. A companion piece to the album, an acoustic EP with six songs, was released 19 March 2013.

Azam Ali
Azam Ali (Persian: اعظم علی) is an Iranian American singer and musician. As of 2013, Ali has released eight full-length albums with the bands VAS and Niyaz, as well as four full-length solo albums.
Biography
Born in Tehran, Iran, in 1970, Ali spent most of her childhood in Panchgani, India. Ali and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1985, after which Ali discovered the santour. Ali then studied the santour under Persian master Manoochehr Sadeghi, which led to the rediscovery of her voice. She is now living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
In 1996, Ali formed "alternative world" group VAS with percussionist Greg Ellis after meeting the year prior at a concert at UCLA. She and her husband, Loga Ramin Torkian, are also part of another group, Niyaz, an Iranian acoustic electronic group. In 2005, Azam Ali was featured in Enter The Chicken, a Buckethead album, singing the song "Coma" with Serj Tankian.
Solo career
In 2002, Ali released her first solo album, Portals of Grace. This was followed up with 2006's Elysium for the Brave, which reached #10 on Billboard's World Albums chart on 23 September 2006. Ali's third album, From Night to the Edge of Day (2011), is a collection of lullabies inspired by her son.Lamentation of Swans - A Journey Towards Silence (2013), Ali's fourth album, is a joint effort with her husband Loga R Torkian that began in 2009 and explores the intimate spaces they had to carve out for themselves to escape the demands of touring.

Plot: Raghunandan is an ex-Bank of England employee who resigned his lucrative job because he was bored with the rather sedentary and mundane nature of his work. he chose journalism as his next career and worked in different cities in India. This old folkloric song from Afghanistan is sung in Dari, which is one of the dialects of the modern Persian language spoken in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The song is about the beautiful, historically holy city of Mazar-e Sharif. It is also a plea for all human beings to see an end to suffering. We choose this song to express out love for this beautiful country and its people who have seen decades of war and invasion, and yet they always manage to rise up and rebuild.

Allama Dr. Sefaraaz Naeemi Motivated him to get Islamic Knowledge, so Allama Dr. Sarfarz Naeemi Shahid was his First teacher .Dr sahib taught him Arabic Morphology and Arabic syntax. Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi started to deliver lecture when he was 19 years old and in 1998 he went to Dubai for speech. He did Umrah in 1998 and in 1999 he performed Hajj by Road. He gave speeches in Makah and Madinah. In June of 1999, the American Muslim of New York invited him to give speech on Milad Jaloos. Next year in June of 2000, Allama Naeemi Again Invited for lecture, giving lectures in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, charlotte, Michigan, California san Francisco, live oak, Chicago, Florida, Dallas And Houston. So Houstonians requested him to stay permanently. Since September 7, 2000 till now (September 7th 2012) he has been in one mosque named MASJID Ghous-e Azam Humble for 12 years (It is Allah's mercy).
He visited many countries to propagate Islam including, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada (Calgary, Toronto and Montreal), Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and Oman and continues to visit more.

In Ramadan Allama sahib gives 90 lectures: one during the morning on the radio, second before Maghrib Azaan on the radio and third after Taraaveeh at the mosque and by end of the Month of Ramadan, the total reaches to at least 90 lectures.
