Illegal Eviction Day for 276
Running Ridge,
Ojai, CA by
CHASE Bank. We have taken this case to the CA
Court of Appeal. The whole Brief can be found on
http://chasechase.org/cases
.html#lange It reads like a
Detective story....See more right here....
This home was wrongfully foreclosed on by
JP Morgan Chase Bank (and others, including
Jamie Dimon) and a group of investors with direct links to WaMu (surprise, surprise)
276 Running Ridge Trl, Ojai, CA, had a WaMu loan, was illegally foreclosed on by
Chase Bank (and others) and "sold" without the homeowners' knowledge to insider investors and team on
July 14th,
2010.
After a year's battle the homeowners are wrongfully evicted on July 29th
2011. This home is the subject of a wrongful foreclosure lawsuit which is currently in the Court of Appeal.
Here is what an actual wrongful eviction looks like in
Ventura County, CA. (our home)
2 Sheriffs in an unmarked white
SUV, one of the Investors,
Brian Bladen, with his white $
100,
000 AMG Mercedes, and a locksmith in tow. This home is currently the subject of a lawsuit for fraudulent lending practices, loan modification fraud (because the homeowners were making extremely high payments), foreclosure fraud, and eviction fraud. Also Consumer Fraud.
It's a sad day in
America when homeowners are getting blamed for a crisis that they did not create - a situation with predatory banks, predatory mortgage brokers and predatory investors.
Here is a partial list of the investors involved with stealing our home that had to be disclosed by them because we are in the Court of Appeal.
Todd Kaufman from
Alta Community Investment III,
LLC. He claims to have set up the securitization division for
Washington Mutual in
2000 and was
Senior Managing Director.
Marito Domingo was his boss at WaMu and says he is a member of the
Board of Advisers for Alta Community Investment Fund.
Megan
Davidson was a
SVP at
Wamu and is listed as an executive for Alta Community Investment and Alta
Community Management.
(update: Domingo and Davidson, as former WaMu senior employees, have just been named in a major criminal lawsuit for fraud.)
Alta collaborates with a group of young investors headed by
Luke McCarthy and Brian Bladen. You will meet Brian in this video.(Conejo
Capital is also another group that Alta works with)
It's interesting that individuals who participated heavily in the fraudulent mortgage boom are now profiting immensely from the mortgage bust.
Even though the website http://www.AltaHelps.com claims to be helping rebuild communities, our personal experience proves to us the complete opposite.
Their mission statement is:
Do well by doing good. However, these investors were determined to throw us out of our home of 13 years to make what - a quick buck...? .... another acquisition in the Alta $21 million dollar portfolio???
Did they do well? Did they do good?
What's even worse is that they have tried to offload our home cheap as fast as they could to some poor family, so that they think they can move on.
The plight of this one home is an example of what happens "... when bankers and speculators ... gambled with our most valuable asset - our homes - betting against us and destroying trillions of dollars of our wealth" - aptly described by www.NationofChange.com

By the way, you will see in this video our little black and white cat, Pepi, who still haunts the property where she was born wild, under one of our lavender bushes. She still believes it's her home and her land. She did not survive our move - to a
PO Box - and returned to her land.
