Jessica is a 1962 film directed by Jean Negulesco. It stars Maurice Chevalier and Angie Dickinson.
Plot
When her husband dies in Sicily while on their honeymoon, Jessica, a nurse, decides to remain there rather than return home. She decides to become a midwife in the village of Forza d'Agro.
Men of the town pay quite a bit of attention to the attractive Jessica, causing women to resent her presence. The wives conspire to abstain from relations with their husbands, reasoning if no babies are born, no midwife is needed. A parish priest, Father Antonio, disapproves of their scheme.
Jessica develops a romantic interest in Edmondo Raumo, a marchese who has been a recluse since being injured during the war. Raumo elects to lie about his true identity, telling Jessica he is a humble fisherman.
She becomes angry when the truth is finally known and intends to leave Sicily forever. A villager who has been kind to her, however, is dying, and the situation brings her closer to Raumo in the end.

Jessica Ann Johnson (née Simpson; born July 10, 1980) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, reality television personality and fashion designer who made her debut in 1999. Since that time, Simpson has made many recordings, starred in several television shows, movies and commercials, launched a line of hair and beauty products, and designed fragrances, shoes and handbags for women. She has devoted time to philanthropic efforts including Operation Smile and a USO-hosted tour for troops stationed overseas. She started The Jessica Simpson Collection in 2006.

Debby (polar bear)
Debby (1966 – November 17, 2008) was the world's oldest polar bear. She lived in the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg. In August 2008, the Guinness World Records certified her as not only the oldest polar bear, but one of the three oldest individuals ever recorded of all bear species.
Debby was born in the Soviet Arctic in 1966, and subsequently orphaned; she arrived in Winnipeg when she was a year old.
In November of 2008, she was found to be suffering from multiple organ failure, and was subsequently euthanized. She was 42 years old.
