A busy morning at London's Luton airport on a beautiful Autumn day on Friday 10th October 2015.
A few nice catches to look out for, this was my first time seeing a La Compagnie 757, it arrived from Paris CDG empty before filling up and later leaving across the pond for Newark. The other nice catch which had attracted the attention of a fair few spotters was a private MD-87, VP-CTF. Great catch and just by luck, had no idea that was around. Another thing rather peculiar that I noticed was although only a light wind the aircraft were landing & taking off with a tail wind (check out the wind sock in the backdrop of a few shots) and notice the Atlas Jet A320 AND the Monarch A321 arrival actually miss the taxiway turn off and back track after landing which is quite uncommon at Luton. But just before I left the last Ryanair departure went from RWY08 into the wind after the runway swap.
PLANES INCLUDED: La Compagnie 757, EasyJet A320's & A319's, Ryanair 737's, Thomson 737, Wizz Air A320's, Monarch A321, Private MD-87 and loads more bizjets of various shapes & sizes!
As with all my Luton videos, at Luton in order to film these videos over the fence I have to stand on a step ladder. So using a tripod isn't possible, so it is hand held so try and excuse the shakiness in places.

A wet, windy and rather stormy afternoon at London Luton Airport on May 18th 2015. The reason for my trip to Luton was to catch the HiFly A340 which was operating on behalf of the new operator "La Compagnie" which operate flights from Newark to Paris & Luton, usually with 757's. However because one was in for routine maintenance they required the help of HiFly and used an A340! Now any widebody aircraft at Luton is pretty rare because the runway length is very short and the taxiways can be quite tight in places. The A340 operated the flight the previous day & then this day. As far as I'm aware these are the first time an A340 has ever been to Luton! So its pretty damn rare! This video also features some of Luton's regular visitors as well as some very smart business jets!
INCLUDES: HiFly A340-300 (CS-TQY), Titan A320 (Operating for Monarch to Larnaca), Thomson 757 & 737, Monarch A321 & A320's, Wizz Air A320's, EasyJet A319's & A320's, Ryanair 737's, Saudi Government 737BBJ, Azerbaijan Gulfstream, VLM Fokker 50 and many more bizjets!
Apologies for the shaky footage, at Luton in order to film I've got to stand on a ladder which means I can't use a tripod and in wet, windy conditions that's pretty difficult.

An early morning visit to Luton to catch the airport at full swing during its busiest time of day in its busiest month for travellers. 6:45am until just before 9 in the morning on an August morning. The weather not looking very "August" like in the slightest with mist & fog and dense drizzle just adding to the morning atmosphere. Despite the poor weather it was all systems go at the airport. Wizz Air dominate the airport at this time with more than 10 flights with in an hour 8 of which within 20 mins! As well as the endless flow of Wizz coming and going there's also a few Monarch's seen jetting off somewhere warm with the holiday makers onboard, A Thomson 737 seen positioning empty to Bournemouth after maintenance, EL AL 737-900 from Tel Aviv, DHL Airbus A300 arrival from Leipzig, VLM Fokker 50 from Waterford, Ryanair 737's, EasyJet A319's & A320's and a few private jets.
An advantage of filming in the poor weather conditions is the incredible spray affects in the jet blast during take off and with the reverse thrust on some of the Wizz arrivals. Also look out for the great vortexes visible from the EL AL 737 & Ryanair 737 arrivals & the DHL A300.
*Apologies for the shakiness in places, at Luton the only way to film above the fence is by standing on a step ladder so using a tripod at Luton isn't possible. But I did my best :)

A very busy, exciting morning at London's Luton Airport on Thursday 2nd October 2014.
A few rare visitors in with in the space of a few hours. The reason of my visit was to catch the Turkish A330 which arrived empty to take football team Galatasary back home after playing Arsenal the previous evening. A330's at Luton are extremely rare, there's only been a handful ever visit, let alone Turkish! This exact same aircraft arrived two days before to bring the team in, but I missed it. So I made sure I didn't miss it again and went down to catch it.
Lots of other great traffic around at that time in the morning too! Also some beautiful condensation shots as they aircraft go through the Autumn morning mist and murk.
INCLUDES: 2x DHL A300's, 10x Wizz Air departures in under an hour! Easyjet A319's & A320, Thomson 757, Ryanair 737's, Blue Air 737-400's, Denim Air Fokker 100, El Al 737-800 and lots of bizjets!
Bonus footage! I went to Luton on the Tuesday after the Turkish A330 had left, I only stayed about 20mins but caught two more special visitors! A VLM Fokker50 and private livery A319, so I added them onto the end of this video! :)
The Denim Air Fokker100 was just a lucky catch, not seen a fokker 100 at Luton before! This was only the second visit ever of a Turkish A330 at Luton, the first being the flight bringing the team in 2 days before! So was definitely worth getting out to see it.

A rather dull December afternoon at London Luton Airport on Wednesday 17th 2014. With winter season in full swing Luton sees a rather dramatic decline of flights. Barely any Thomson flights all week and most Monarch destinations are out of season so very few holiday flights to be seen.
INCLUDES: Wizz Air A320's, Monarch A320, Easyjet A319's, Ryanair 737's and a few bizjets!

London Luton Airport (IATA: LTN, ICAO: EGGW) (previously called Luton International Airport) is an international airport located 1.5 NM (2.8 km; 1.7 mi) east of the town centre in the Borough of Luton in Bedfordshire, England and is 30.5 NM (56.5 km; 35.1 mi) north of Central London. The airport is 2 mi (3.2 km) from Junction 10a of the M1 motorway. It is the fourth-largest airport serving the London area after Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, and is one of London's six international airports along with London City and Southend.
In 2008, over 10 million passengers passed through the airport in a single year for the first time. Luton (
i/ˈluːtən/ LOOT-ən, local /ˈluːʔən/) is a large town, borough and unitary authority of Bedfordshire, England, 30 miles (50 km) north of London. Luton and its near neighbours, Dunstable and Houghton Regis, form the Luton/Dunstable Urban Area with a population of about 250,000.
Luton is home to Blue Square Premier team Luton Town Football Club, whose history includes several spells in the top flight of the English league as well as a Football League Cup triumph in 1988. They play at Kenilworth Road stadium, which has been their home since 1905.
London Luton Airport, opened in 1938, is one of England's major airports. During the Second World War it doubled as an RAF base.
The University of Bedfordshire is based in the town.
The Luton Carnival, held on the late May bank holiday, is the largest one-day carnival in Europe.
The town was for many years famous for hat-making, and was also home to a large Vauxhall Motors factory; the head office of Vauxhall Motors is still situated in the town. Car production at the plant began in 1905 and continued until 2002, but commercial vehicle production remains.

A busy morning at London's Luton airport on a beautiful Autumn day on Friday 10th October 2015.
A few nice catches to look out for, this was my first time seeing a La Compagnie 757, it arrived from Paris CDG empty before filling up and later leaving across the pond for Newark. The other nice catch which had attracted the attention of a fair few spotters was a private MD-87, VP-CTF. Great catch and just by luck, had no idea that was around. Another thing rather peculiar that I noticed was although only a light wind the aircraft were landing & taking off with a tail wind (check out the wind sock in the backdrop of a few shots) and notice the Atlas Jet A320 AND the Monarch A321 arrival actually miss the taxiway turn off and back track after landing which is quite uncommon at Luton. But just before I left the last Ryanair departure went from RWY08 into the wind after the runway swap.
PLANES INCLUDED: La Compagnie 757, EasyJet A320's & A319's, Ryanair 737's, Thomson 737, Wizz Air A320's, Monarch A321, Private MD-87 and loads more bizjets of various shapes & sizes!
As with all my Luton videos, at Luton in order to film these videos over the fence I have to stand on a step ladder. So using a tripod isn't possible, so it is hand held so try and excuse the shakiness in places.

A wet, windy and rather stormy afternoon at London Luton Airport on May 18th 2015. The reason for my trip to Luton was to catch the HiFly A340 which was operating on behalf of the new operator "La Compagnie" which operate flights from Newark to Paris & Luton, usually with 757's. However because one was in for routine maintenance they required the help of HiFly and used an A340! Now any widebody aircraft at Luton is pretty rare because the runway length is very short and the taxiways can be quite tight in places. The A340 operated the flight the previous day & then this day. As far as I'm aware these are the first time an A340 has ever been to Luton! So its pretty damn rare! This video also features some of Luton's regular visitors as well as some very smart business jets!
INCLUDES: HiFly A340-300 (CS-TQY), Titan A320 (Operating for Monarch to Larnaca), Thomson 757 & 737, Monarch A321 & A320's, Wizz Air A320's, EasyJet A319's & A320's, Ryanair 737's, Saudi Government 737BBJ, Azerbaijan Gulfstream, VLM Fokker 50 and many more bizjets!

Wizz Air dominate the airport at this time with more than 10 flights with in an hour 8 of which within 20 mins! As well as the endless flow of Wizz coming and going there's also a few Monarch's seen jetting off somewhere warm with the holiday makers onboard, A Thomson 737 seen positioning empty to Bournemouth after maintenance, EL AL 737-900 from Tel Aviv, DHL Airbus A300 arrival from Leipzig, VLM Fokker 50 from Waterford, Ryanair 737's, EasyJet A319's & A320's and a few private jets.
An advantage of filming in the poor weather conditions is the incredible spray affects in the jet blast during take off and with the reverse thrust on some of the Wizz arrivals. Also look out for the great vortexes visible from the EL AL 737 & Ryanair 737 arrivals & the DHL A300.
*Apologies for the shakiness in places, at Luton the only way to film above the fence is by standing on a step ladder so using a tripod at Luton isn't possible. But I did my best :)

A very busy, exciting morning at London's Luton Airport on Thursday 2nd October 2014.
A few rare visitors in with in the space of a few hours. The reason of my visit was to catch the Turkish A330 which arrived empty to take football team Galatasary back home after playing Arsenal the previous evening. A330's at Luton are extremely rare, there's only been a handful ever visit, let alone Turkish! This exact same aircraft arrived two days before to bring the team in, but I missed it. So I made sure I didn't miss it again and went down to catch it.
Lots of other great traffic around at that time in the morning too! Also some beautiful condensation shots as they aircraft go through the Autumn morning mist and murk.
INCLUDES: 2x DHL A300's, 10x Wizz Air departures in under an hour! Easyjet A319's & A320, Thomson 757, Ryanair 737's, Blue Air 737-400's, Denim Air Fokker 100, El Al 737-800 and lots of bizjets!
Bonus footage! I went to Luton on the Tuesday after the Turkish A330 had left, I only stayed about 20mins but caught two more special visitors! A VLM Fokker50 and private livery A319, so I added them onto the end of this video! :)
The Denim Air Fokker100 was just a lucky catch, not seen a fokker 100 at Luton before! This was only the second visit ever of a Turkish A330 at Luton, the first being the flight bringing the team in 2 days before! So was definitely worth getting out to see it.

A hot July afternoon at London Luton Airport. Lots of summer holiday flights around, plenty of Monarch & Thomson about. This was also the first time I'd seen the new Wizz Air livery, with the white front and blue part on the tail. As well as that, it was also the first time I'd seen a La Compagnie 757, you can see it at the end being tugged to stand.
INCLUDES: Thomson 757 & 737, Monarch A321's & A320's, Wizz Air A320's, Easyjet A320's & A319's, Ryanair 737 and lots of private jets!
Nice seeing that private livery BAE-146 which had come from Inverness!

To fit enough in I decided to visit early in the morning, so this is 8 hours worth of planes at Luton. Filmed between 6:15 am to 2:45 pm on Sunday 20th September. On a sad note, this will have to be my final video for a few months as I am planning to go to University and begin a new career from here. SO I apologize for this
It was a lucky day to go on actually, a lot of interesting movements, which include some Bizjet's, mostly Rugby visitors for the 2015 Rugby World cup, as well as La Compagnie 757, El Al 737, Swiftair (spanish cargo) 737, a lovely Embraer Legacy 1000, AtlasGlobal A320 (Ukraine registered) and a lot of Luton's regulars including lots of EasyJet A319's and A320's (incl. some new liveries), lots of Wizz Air A320's, Ryanair 737's, Monarch A320's and A321's and a few Thomson's including a 757 and a few 737's. To see the most interesting movements, see the ones to look for below

What a morning for me to have picked! The sunrise in this video is a must see, it is amazing and you will notice it whilst watching the exciting movements I caught today

This video details a rather quite morning at BHX, of which is in full Winter Schedule where there are little or no activity from airlines such as Monarch, Thomson and Thomas Cook, however the regulars and interesting movements are still present in this video.
This video includes the airports biggest operator, Flybe (Both Dash 8's and E170's), Ryanair 737's, two CRJ900's including my first catch of a SAS CRJ as well as a typical Eurowings CRJ. In addition Swiss Air's flight was operated by Helvetic Airways F100 which was a fine treat. I also caught some spectaculars at BHX including two Emirates 777-300(ER)'s, a Thomson 787 Dreamliner, United Airlines and American Airlines 757's and a very rare airline - Sprint Airlines.

Our first real day of winter here in the UK, and what a morning it was. Snow to begin with, then freezing cold rain, 45 mph winds (cold winds) and 1'c temps. Not doing that again!
Anyway, sorry for not uploading in a while as every day I had planned, the weather turned out terrible - and last week my old camcorder went to heaven, so now presents a HC-V270 (Panasonic) for now on. As I am still getting use to the camcorder some parts of the video may see judder but it does not distort the video, please also note this was filmed on a stepladder with strong battering winds which resulted in some shaky footage.
Only a short video due to the weather, however this video does include some good planes, including EasyJet's new 20th livery plane (with my face somewhere on it) (OX), Wizz Air's first Airbus A321-231, VLM F50, Blue Air 737, a Thomson 737, Monarch 321 and the regulars.

I’m starting in the room, because what’s more important than a good night’s sleep?!
It’s comfy, but practical - nothing luxurious here.There are some black out curtains, a TV and pretty comfy bed.
The restaurant serves up simple salads, steaks, burgers - lots of British classics.
Then there’s the bar, where you can grab a light snack and a drink.
… and sit back in one of the comfy lounge chairs.
There’s even free, high speed wifi, fast enough to stream your favourite Netflix movie!
And, the gym is open morning, noon and night - 24-hours a day!
In the morning, it’s all about the breakfast. Which you can pre-book it to save yourself a few pounds.
When it comes to getting to the airport, you have three options!

The busiest time of day at London's Luton Airport on a very cold, icy, misty January morning from 07:45 until about 09:10! After light snow & freezing rain over night then freezing fog forming in the early hours, lead to some extremely icy conditions! This was the first time I've seen de-icing taking place at Luton. The fog/mist was on & off during the filming of this video, it starts rather dense, then brightens up slightly before getting thicker again towards the end, that's when I decided that I'd had enough of freezing!
INCLUDES: DHL A300, Blue Air 737-300, ELAL 737, EasyJet A320's & A319's, Wizzair A320's, Monarch A321, Skywork Dornier 328 and a few bizjets!
*De-icing was only being done to the aircraft which had been stationed at Luton over night, not the ones which had arrived that morning.
Great morning though, lots of action but VERY cold! I was hoping for more snow & less ice and freezing fog...

A very grey, wet dull April Afternoon at London Luton Airport. Its been a while since I've been to Luton so thought I'd pop down on Good Friday and see what was around. I must admit I under estimated quite how much it was going to rain... However I do quite like filming in the rain, the spray creates some really dramatic scenes. Take a look at some of those reverse thrust blasts, they look incredible!
INCLUDES: Privilege Style 757, Thomson 757, DHL 757, Blue Air 737-400, Thomson 737, Monarch A321, Wizz Air A320's, Ryanair 737's, EasyJet A320's & A319's and a fair few bizjets are always to be expected at Luton.
The Privilege Style 757 flight number was MON757P from Madrid, not entirely sure of its reason for being at Luton, but perfect timed for me to catch it!
The Thomson 757 was departing empty to Birmingham following routine maintenance at Thomson's engineering base in Luton.
The DHL 757 was performing high power engine runs as part of its maintenance scheduled. Love watching 757's do high power engine runs, what an incredible sound!
So lots to look out for and some really cool spray effects in the rain. It did lose focus a few times of the aircraft on final approach due to the grey conditions, I did my best to refocus it as fast as I could, apologies for that.

I have never come here before and I thought I would give it a try and am glad I did. A very bright, sunny but rather windy winter Saturday in January. Only saw 1 Thomson which was weird as their is usually quite a few I am told. But got some good stuff anyway. On my journey to the airport I had a rather heavy Snow Shower but stopped as I came out of the station which was a shame because I think I would of got some great shots in the snow but never mind!
