On High Voltage Cables sometimes the actual cable catches fire and keeps burning when there is a fault with some resistance. These are some video's on YouTube where this phenomena is visible. In this demo I visualize it with a twin conductor cable connected to a 4400 Volts supply. The cable arcs between the Active and the Neutral (or screen) and burns like a candle. At the end of the video a true example of a single core non - armoured cable is shown. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)
