Camp Humphreys (Korean: 캠프 험프리스), also known as United States Army Garrison-Humphreys (USAG-H), is a United States Army garrison located near Anjeong-ri and Pyeongtaek metropolitan areas in South Korea. Camp Humphreys is home to Desiderio Army Airfield, the busiest U.S. Army airfield in Asia. In addition to the airfield, there are several U.S. Army direct support, transportation, and tactical units located there, including the 2nd Infantry Division's 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
In 2004, an agreement was reached between the United States and South Korean governments to move all U.S. forces to garrisons south of the Han River and relocate the United States Forces Korea and United Nations Command Headquarters to Camp Humphreys. Those movements are expected to be completed by 2016 and will transform Camp Humphreys into the largest U.S. Army garrison in Asia. Under that plan, the 28,500 U.S. troop presence in South Korea will be consolidated by 2016 and United States Forces Korea will move from Seoul to Camp Humphreys.

Here is Vice President Humphrey's acceptance speech from that turbulent and wild convention in August 1968. He was very much the establishment candidate in '68, and was the favorite through the race after President Johnson quit. He might not have been the most popular choice in '68 but he did come close to winning, which might have been the closest anyone could have come that year, but it depends on which history expert you ask. Humphrey does seem like a nice guy however.
This is a lecture I heard a few weeks ago. It is so incredibly similar to a segment of the Genesis Theory I'm developing, that I had to share it with you all. It is extremely encouraging to see that I am on the same research/discovery path as some truly accomplished and distinguished individuals.

Alastair Humphreys is an adventurer, explorer, author and blogger. He's also one of National Geographic's Adventurers of the Year 2012. He's cycled round the world for 4 years, canoed 500 miles down the Yukon River, crossed Iceland by foot, rowed across the Atlantic Ocean and is due to take on the South Pole this autumn on the centenary of Scotts final mission. In 2011 Alastair decided to swap the great outdoors, for his own back yard by launching Micro-adventures: a project that encourages people to seek out adventure and wilderness closer to home. His talk is a testament to the adventures we can all have just by seeing our local environment with fresh eyes. As an adventurer with no talent, genetic advantages and worldly wealth (his words, not ours), his story encourages anyone and ever...
I'm not the same man
I was a while ago
I've learned some new things,
I hope that it shows.
I'm free to give my love,
But you're not the one
I'm thinking of,
So for me
the wheels are turning
Got to keep
the homefires burning.
I'll walk these borders
In search of a line,
Between young lovers
Who live separate lives.
How long can this go on?
I can hear another song,
Late at night
when I've been drinking
Substitute comes at me winking.
