Nice (
/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: [nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, with a population of 348,721 within its administrative limits on a land area of 71.92 km2 (28 sq mi). The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille.
The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912. Nice is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département and the second biggest city of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille.

Prime Minister Pete Nice (born Peter J. Nash in Floral Park, Long Island, New York) is a former hip hop MC who was most noted as a member of the group 3rd Bass.
After graduating from Bishop Ford High School in 1985, Nash majored in English at Columbia University, where he hosted a hip hop radio show. This led to the creation of the hip hop group 3 the Hard Way, which later changed its name to 3rd Bass, where he adopted the stage name Prime Minister Pete Nice. The group released two gold-selling albums before disbanding in 1992. Nice teamed up with group DJ Richie Rich, and the pair released their only collaboration, Dust to Dust, in 1993.
Pete Nice and author-radio jock Bobbito started their own label, Hoppoh Records, under the aegis of Columbia Records. The first release was Kurious Jorge's 1994 album A Constipated Monkey; Nice co-produced the album and the single "I'm Kurious." Nashville artist Count Bass D's debut Pre-Life Crisis followed in 1995, distributed by Columbia sister label Chaos Recordings, but those would be the only records released before the label folded because of creative differences with Columbia.

He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's extravagant lifestyle, outspoken manner and role on the NBC reality show The Apprentice have made him a well-known celebrity who was No. 17 on the 2011 Forbes Celebrity 100 list. He is well-known as a real-estate developer who amassed vast hotel, casino, and other real-estate properties, in the New York City area and around the world.
Trump is the son of Fred Trump, a wealthy New York City real-estate developer. He worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son, while attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and in 1968 officially joined the company. He was given control of the company in 1971 and renamed it The Trump Organization.
In 2010, Trump expressed an interest in becoming a candidate for President of the United States in the 2012 election. In May 2011, he announced he would not be a candidate, but a few weeks later he said he had not completely ruled out the possibility. In December 2011, Trump was suggested as a possible Vice Presidential selection by Michele Bachmann. Bachmann has since suspended her presidential campaign.

Dust to Dust is an album by former 3rd Bass members, Pete Nice (Prime Minister Pete Nice) and DJ Richie Rich (Daddy Rich). The album was released on July 13, 1993 for Def Jam Recordings and was produced by Pete Nice, DJ Richie Rich, KMD and Psycho Les. Dust to Dust was released a year after the breakup of 3rd Bass and featured many disses toward their former bandmate MC Serch. Dust to Dust found limited success, peaking at #171 on the Billboard 200, #50 on the Top R&B;/Hip-Hop Albums and #3 on the Top Heatseekers. The video for "Rat Bastard" starts out as a recreation of a scene from the 1987 film The Untouchables, with Pete Nice beating an MC Serch lookalike to death with a baseball bat. Nice is the Côte d'Azur's fascinating and colorful city located on the curve of Angel Bay, a metropolis that has lost little of its turn of the century charm. It is also a place of contrast with all the pulsating life of an international city mixed with the rich Mediterranean flair of the south.
The magnificent Promenade Des Anglais was named after the resort's former large contingent of English visitors and was built during the 19th century.
The historical centre of the city, Vielle Ville, has become the home of Arabian immigrants, thus couscous features prominently on the menu. The old fish market is the most beautiful on the entire Côte d'Azur and its traditional displays of seafood are a feast to the eye.
The Russian Tsars also spent much time in Nice and around 1900, a Russian Orthodox Church was built. With its six eye-catching onion-shaped domes, it was designed by the Russian architect, Preobrajensky, and is the most beautiful example of its kind in the western hemisphere. The foundations of the building were designed in the shape of a Greek crucifix and the interior features a remarkable collection of Russian icons.
A good way to visit numerous places of interest is by taking a journey on a small sightseeing train known as the Azur Express.
Just outside Nice, there are some remarkable Roman ruins and a villa on the excavated site contains the Matisse Museum that features each of the famous artist's sculptures.
Nice is more than 'nice' -- joie de vivre never had it so good!

A walk along a part of the Mediterranean Sea is always a pleasure. Especially when you walk down the Promenade des Anglais, or the English Promenade in Nice, France. The boulevard begins at the eastern part of Nice, and it is almost a 5 kilometer long street westward. It was built way back in 1800s and even today remains a favorite part for locals and tourists.
Of course the main draw here is the beautiful blue waters, but there is more to see than just the rocks and the sea. If you do not want to walk it you can hire a bicycle or some rollerblades. There are chairs at regular intervals if you want to catch your breath. On one side of escalade there are some grand hotels with unusual architectual features. The most famous hotel here is the Necresco built by the East European businessman, Harry Necresco in the early 13th century. With its antique furniture and Belle Epoque architecture, it has housed many famous guests.
There are some other famous quarters along this street. Like for example, the Palais De La Mediterranee. The Promenade also has quite a few cafes and brasseries. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a few celeberties passing through. This is the perfect time of the year for relaxing on the beach. But if you come during the summer time you can also enjoy paragliding and jet skiing. And of course there is quite nothing like the Promenade des Anglais for a romantic stroll. This led to the creation of the hip hop group 3 the Hard Way, which later changed its name to 3rd Bass, where he adopted the stage name Prime Minister Pete Nice. The group released two gold-selling albums before disbanding in 1992. Nice teamed up with group DJ Richie Rich, and the pair released their only collaboration, Dust to Dust, in 1993.
Pete Nice and author-radio jock Bobbito started their own label, Hoppoh Records, under the aegis of Columbia Records. The first release was Kurious Jorge's 1994 album A Constipated Monkey; Nice co-produced the album and the single "I'm Kurious." Nashville artist Count Bass D's debut Pre-Life Crisis followed in 1995, distributed by Columbia sister label Chaos Recordings, but those would be the only records released before the label folded because of creative differences with Columbia.
Nice quit the music business and devoted his time to baseball history. He owned a memorabilia shop in Cooperstown. In 2003, he published his first book, Baseball Legends of Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery, under his real name. He has also been working to secure some property for an official grave site of Negro League players. His brother Brian was the Head Men's Basketball Coach at St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
In early 2008, Pete opened McGreevy's 3rd Base Bar (named in honor of legendary Boston publican "Nuf Ced" McGreevy's establishment), a sports bar in Boston with Dropkick Murphys' band member Ken Casey. The bar was named Best Sports Bar In Boston by Citysearch in 2009.
Commencing in 2007 and concluding in 2009, Nash was involved in litigation with an auction house relating to the authenticity of baseball memorabilia he consigned for sale. When deposed under oath, Nash invoked the Fifth Amendment dozens of times in response to questions about the origins of specific pieces of memorabilia. The court found in favor of the auction house, and Nash signed a court order in which he admitted to having committed fraud.
On July 1, 2014, after having plead guilty to misdemeanor tax fraud, Nash was sentenced in Albany County court for not paying taxes from 2009 through 2011. As a result, Nash paid $13,101 to the state in back taxes, penalties and interest.

It will show the start and planning of major developments to the control area of the layout. Another.....PLEASE forgive the SPAD'S, only the signalman (Pete Waterman) was busy doing other things, as you will see. Lastly, I am sorry for the lengthy soundtrack, but there was conversation not for the public....and the banter wasn't appropriate either (a lot of flatulence). So sorry about that. There is some nice footage of Pete's "Bulldog" having a run, so I hope that makes up for the other things.

Of all of the outstanding recordings Peter Green has made with the Splinter Group this is perhaps their finest release. The rust present on the first Splinter Group recording is absent here. Green plays in all of his fluid, soulful glory. The band is tight and remarkably attuned to his musical presence. Covers of some old Fleetwood Mac numbers are particularly enjoyable. Even though some of the same blues standards are covered on the first release, the versions on this recording improve upon them greatly. It's nice to have Peter Green back after all of these years. His is one voice that was sorely missed, as guitarists of his like are rare in that he never overplays but is remarkable for his passion and soulful soloing. Brilliant musician, brilliant recording. "Soho Session" captures the blues of Fleetwood Mac and Robert Johnson the way they should be played. .
