West looks around for a black Uber sedan, supposed to take him to celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak's gym, but it's nowhere in site. So when photographers offer him a ride, he ditches the Uber saying, "I don't need Uber anymore, I just have the paps take me where I want to go!" Pasternak has a big laugh when photogs drop Kanye off. And when asked about reports he supports Trump and Kim supports Hillary, Kanye says, "I don't want to give any political opinions. You know, we had a very intense past month, and um, right now I want to focus on my family, and just making good music and good clothes." And on going more guerilla with his fashion shows, he responds, "Yeah, I'm going Mad Max!"

This video shows the hilarious moment a determined panda had to be rescued by its playful zookeepers.
The footage, taken in Japan's Adventure World Park, shows the panda rolling around the grass of its enclosure.
At that point, it tumbles down a steep slope into a ditch - despite the best efforts of the zookeepers dressed in panda hats.
The playful panda heads towards the ditch as the two zookeepers try to keep it on the grassy enclosure

A ditch is usually defined as a small to moderate depression created to channel water.
In Anglo-Saxon, the word dïc already existed and was pronounced 'deek' in northern England and 'deetch' in the south. The origins of the word lie in digging a trench and forming the upcast soil into a bank alongside it. This practice has meant that the name dïc was given to either the excavation or the bank, and evolved to both the words 'dike'/'dyke' and 'ditch'. Thus Offa's Dyke is a combined structure and Car Dyke is a trench, though it once had raised banks as well. In the midlands and north of England, and in the United States, a dike is what a ditch is in the south, a property boundary marker or small drainage channel. Where it carries a stream, it may be called a running dike as in Rippingale Running Dike, which leads water from the catchwater drain, Car Dyke, to the South Forty Foot Drain in Lincolnshire (TF1427). The Weir Dike is a soak dike in Bourne North Fen, near Twenty and alongside the River Glen.

Kanye Omari West (
/ˈkɑːnjeɪ/; born June 8, 1977) is an American musician, film director and fashion designer. West first rose to fame as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records, where he eventually achieved recognition for his work on Jay-Z's album The Blueprint, as well as hit singles for musical artists including Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Janet Jackson. West released a collaborative album, Watch the Throne with Jay-Z in 2011, which is the duo's first collaborative album. His five solo albums, all of which have gone platinum, have received numerous awards and critical acclaim. As of 2012, West has won a total of eighteen Grammy Awards, making him one of the most awarded artists of all-time. All albums have been very commercially successful, with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy becoming his fourth consecutive No. 1 album in the U.S. upon release. West has had 5 songs exceed 3 million in digital sales as of July 2011, with "Gold Digger" selling 3,086,000, "Stronger" selling 4,402,000, "Heartless" selling 3,742,000, "E.T." selling over 4,000,000 and "Love Lockdown" selling over 3,000,000 placing him third in overall digital sales of the past decade. He has sold over 30 million digital songs in the United States making him one of the best-selling digital artists of all-time.

David John "Dave" Matthews (born January 9, 1967) is a South African-American musician and actor, best known as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band. He performs mainly with acoustic guitar and favors rhythm rather than solos in his playing.
David John Matthews was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the third of four children of parents John and Valerie Matthews. At two years old, Matthews' family moved to Yorktown Heights in Westchester County, New York, where his father, a physicist, started working for IBM.
In 1974, the family moved to Cambridge, England, for a year before returning to New York, where his father died from lung cancer in 1977. Biographer Nevin Martell argues that Dave's father's death may be an impetus for his "carpe diem" lyrics. At some point while residing in New York, Matthews attended his first concert, when his mother took him to a performance by Pete Seeger. The family moved back to Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1977.
Upon Matthews' graduation from St Stithians College high school in 1985, he was faced with conscription into the South African military just as civil disobedience to the practice was becoming widespread. A Quaker (and consequently pacifist), Matthews left South Africa to avoid service.

So stitch in the ditch is a great technique to know and to use. A lot of times you'll use it when attaching waistbands to skirts, so I'm going to show you today. Today we have our orange skirt and our blue waistband. The first thing you're going to do is attach the waistband to the skirt. For that, I'm going to use a 5/8 of an inch seam allowance. I'm just going to put my fabric down at 5/8 of an inch on the seam guide. I'm going to make sure I'm on a straight stitch and I'm going to use a 2.5 millimeter stitch length and then I'm just going to stitch all the way across. Now we have our blue waistband attached to our orange skirt. You want to take this to the iron and press it. We're just going to finger press it for this demo. You want the seam allowances on your project to go up into the waistband or whatever it is you're trying to encase. Now the next thing you want to do is to take your waistband or other portion and fold under the raw edge and then fold it again so that you just cover that machine stitch. So we're just going to cover it. Now if this were an actual skirt, this would be pressed under and prepped for you before you attached it. So we're just going to cover and pin. We're pinning from the wrong side of our project to make sure that we're covering that stitching line. But we're not going to sew from the wrong side. We're going to sew from the right side. What we need to do is flip our project over and re-pin from the right side. You can see on the right side here where our pins are coming through. We're just going to transfer, put new pins in on the right side right up against where the seam is, where the blue and the orange touch each other. Then once you do that you can pull the pins out from the back. So we're going to pin all the way along. Okay, so now no more pins on the wrong side. All of our pins are on the right side. Now when we say "stitch in the ditch", what is the ditch exactly? Well, the ditch is the seam. So we are trying to even pin in the ditch, and this is where we're going to sew. We're going to drop our needle so it goes right in between the blue and the orange right there. So we're going to take this to the machine. Pick up your presser foot, put everything down, and you want that seam, the blue and the orange line, to be right in the middle of your presser foot. What you can do is take the hand wheel and twist it down a little bit and see where your needle's going to drop. You want it to drop right in between. Once you have that in a good place, then you can start sewing. You're going to stitch, you're going to sew right in that seam, right in the middle. Okay, so once you are finished, you should not be able to see your stitching from the right side of the garment because you're setting the stitch in that seam, in the ditch, if you will. Here we've used black thread on the orange so you can see it a little bit, but if we were using thread to match, you would not see it at all. Then if you flip it on the backside, you've caught this folded edge all the way across and so you would have a very lovely waistband of your skirt. And that's how you stitch in the ditch.

The footage, taken in Japan's Adventure World Park, shows the panda rolling around the grass of its enclosure.
At that point, it tumbles down a steep slope into a ditch - despite the best efforts of the zookeepers dressed in panda hats.

This video shows the hilarious moment a determined panda had to be rescued by its playful zookeepers.
The footage, taken in Japan's Adventure World Park, shows the panda rolling around the grass of its enclosure.
At that point, it tumbles down a steep slope into a ditch - despite the best efforts of the zookeepers dressed in panda hats.

Hi, I'm Jennifer from Workroom Social and today I'm going to show you how to stitch in the ditch. So stitch in the ditch is a great technique to know and to use. A lot of times you'll use it when attaching waistbands to skirts, so I'm going to show you today.
Today we have our orange skirt and our blue waistband. The first thing you're going to do is attach the waistband to the skirt. For that, I'm going to use a 5/8 of an inch seam allowance. I'm just going to put my fabric down at 5/8 of an inch on the seam guide. I'm going to make sure I'm on a straight stitch and I'm going to use a 2.5 millimeter stitch length and then I'm just going to stitch all the way across.
Now we have our blue waistband attached to our orange skirt. You want to take this to the iron and press it. We're just going to finger press it for this demo. You want the seam allowances on your project to go up into the waistband or whatever it is you're trying to encase.
Now the next thing you want to do is to take your waistband or other portion and fold under the raw edge and then fold it again so that you just cover that machine stitch. So we're just going to cover it. Now if this were an actual skirt, this would be pressed under and prepped for you before you attached it. So we're just going to cover and pin. We're pinning from the wrong side of our project to make sure that we're covering that stitching line. But we're not going to sew from the wrong side. We're going to sew from the right side.
What we need to do is flip our project over and re-pin from the right side. You can see on the right side here where our pins are coming through. We're just going to transfer, put new pins in on the right side right up against where the seam is, where the blue and the orange touch each other. Then once you do that you can pull the pins out from the back. So we're going to pin all the way along. Okay, so now no more pins on the wrong side. All of our pins are on the right side.
Now when we say "stitch in the ditch", what is the ditch exactly? Well, the ditch is the seam. So we are trying to even pin in the ditch, and this is where we're going to sew. We're going to drop our needle so it goes right in between the blue and the orange right there. So we're going to take this to the machine. Pick up your presser foot, put everything down, and you want that seam, the blue and the orange line, to be right in the middle of your presser foot. What you can do is take the hand wheel and twist it down a little bit and see where your needle's going to drop. You want it to drop right in between. Once you have that in a good place, then you can start sewing. You're going to stitch, you're going to sew right in that seam, right in the middle.
Okay, so once you are finished, you should not be able to see your stitching from the right side of the garment because you're setting the stitch in that seam, in the ditch, if you will. Here we've used black thread on the orange so you can see it a little bit, but if we were using thread to match, you would not see it at all. Then if you flip it on the backside, you've caught this folded edge all the way across and so you would have a very lovely waistband of your skirt. And that's how you stitch in the ditch.

Get this film and four more on our “The US Army Air Force in World War 2: Behind the Scenes) DVD http://bit.ly/19F9WrI Ditching in water was a fact of life for stricken aircraft in World War 2, from the frozen white tops of the North Sea to the Shark infested waters of the South Pacific. “Lt. Reynolds.” played by veteran actor Arthur Kennedy (Lawrence of Arabia), is copilot on a B-17 that ditches at sea. He's survives by pure luck, but the rest of the crew is lost due to a lack of preparation. When he gets his own ship, Reynolds vows his crew is thoroughly trained in B-17 ditching. He gives them the straight dope, step by step.
You'll see training on land and in the water on everything from crew preparation, responsibilities, crash positioning, exiting the plane, emergency supplies, launching & operating dinghies to using an emergency radio, navigating, rations, first aid & a lot more. And after sinking a Japanese cruiser, (as you might expect) Reynolds & the his crew are shot down and have to put everything they learned into practice in stormy seas. Excellent picture quality, a dramatic storyline & realistic acting, with lots of great interior shots of the Flying Fortress. A must have for every B-17 fan!

Since all manufactures ( Kato, Athearn, Atlas, Intermountain ) used the same shell structure, this technique should work on most HO diesels. All parts, tools, and techniques for the complete installation of operating LED ditch lights are shown in the video. Parts can be purchased from your local hobby shop, walthers (website), or Ebay.
