Shooting a 1911 Pistol Wrapped With RUBBER BANDS
What happens if you wrap a
Ruger SR1911 pistol with
Rubber Bands? How many rubber bands will it take to cause the
1911 pistol to malfunction? Is one rubber band powerful enough to stop the slide from functioning properly? Will this create an over pressure situation and kaboom the 1911 pistol? This has been suggested by viewers on multiple occasions and seemed like a fun video to do! This is a wacky
function test and there are a lot more in the
Tactical Operational Science Playlist! The title of this video is:

Larry Vickers is a true
American Hero. Operating in operations we have never heard of.
Today he owns and operates a Youtube
Firearms channel called Vickerstacticalinc. Vickers is the self proclaimed "fastest growing firearms channel on Youtube." Lets make his dream a reality.
Maybe if I send enough people over to subscribe to his channel then his claim will come true.
Please note that the activities in this video are NOT dangerous at all. viewer,
Iron Enthusiast, said it best:
"Many firearms, including Glocks, are designed to be carried loaded with a round in the chamber. Unless the trigger is pulled, requiring a rather intentional effort with a
Glock, they are completely safe. This was a goofy, pointless experiment, but his allegations that this was dangerous were invalid. If you mess
with the trigger in some way, then yes. With an unmolested trigger, it really doesn't matter what you do
with the gun, loaded or not, perhaps aside from tossing it in the fireplace. They don't discharge without pulling the trigger, ever, period.
I've carried loaded and chambered Sigs and Glocks for decades. They're totally safe. If someone is unable to NOT pull the trigger, they might be the kind of individual who should put their car in park and shut off the engine to avoid flooring the gas pedal at red lights, careening into oncoming traffic! This is probably not the type of person who should own firearms!"
I have created the illusion of danger and recklessness to induce an emotional response in uninformed or ignorant viewers that I have to deal with every day.
Thank you for watching.
The Glock function test is an operation where we subject the legendary Glock to unusual circumstances and observe how the Glock performs.
Sometimes we test products or lubricants. Other times we test the Glock without important parts or with unnecessary parts added!
Wrong ammunition? Parts from other glocks or guns? We even attempt to bust myths! Stopping short of exploding our gun! I primarily use a Glock 17 in my tests. Sometimes a Glock 19, Glock 23, Glock 22 or Glock 20 is featured. The glock 17 has been featured in over 50 test videos in the last two years.
Going strong, the only part I have replaced is the recoil spring! However,
I believe that the fire control group will be the next replacement.
Don't try this at home. This is the
World's Most Abused Glock.
