Towards the end of 2014, Puma surprised sneakerheads by naming Rihanna its women's creative director, and now a little over a year later, it looks like the move has paid off big time.
Bloomberg Business reports that Puma's 2015 fourth quarter earnings managed to surpass analyst predictions with €879 million (roughly $975 million) in sales, which are up 17.1 percent from fourth quarter 2014 and far beyond expert projections of €847.9 million.
According to the brand, the sales surge is due in large part to its sneaker collaborations with Rihanna, and Puma CEO Bjoern Gulden added that Rihanna "can sell sneakers and Puma is onto something here which we haven't seen yet in the women's area."
Next up from the Rihanna x Puma collaboration is the Fenty line, which made its debut last week at New York Fashion Week. Meanwhile, we can only imagine that Puma's just-announced Kylie Jenner partnership will help to further bolster sales. Stay tuned.

A baby bunny that was paralyzed this winter now has a sweet set of wheels. The folks at Overlook Acres discovered Wheels after he spent a night outside after a rabbit attacked him and left his back legs paralyzed. "After much care little wheels woke up to a nice warm room surrounded with humans," Jason Ambrosino wrote on a Kickstarter page, he hopes will fund a children's book about his story. The farm owners took him in and made him a wheelchair out of a miniature skateboard and a sock.

In the US, today is a day that most of us get together with family and friends that we may only see once a year. It's a day when we pause to reflect and give thanks for all that we have, for our health and happiness, for all the people we love and care about.
I would like to take this moment and say how THANKFUL I am to have you "popaholics" here, in my life! This last year has been so amazing, who would have thought I could build a youtube channel and would become well-known for... popping PIMPLES?! What an amazing world this is and WHAT an AMAZING community of people are you who subscribe to this channel!!
I have had many people comment to me that they are impressed by the community we have here. In a world where many people "hide" behind their computers and choose to argue and insult others on the internet, saying nasty disrespectful things just to incite others, this channel stands out as different. Many people are impressed by the decency, the kindness, the supportiveness of all of YOU who contribute here, many on a regular basis. I am impressed every. single. day.

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. Kanye Omari West (

Puma Made $975 Million Last Quarter Thanks to Rihanna's Sneakers
Towards the end of 2014, Puma surprised sneakerheads by naming Rihanna its women's creative director, and now a little over a year later, it looks like the move has paid off big time. Bloomberg Business reports that Puma's 2015 fourth quarter earnings managed to surpass analyst predictions with €879 million (roughly $975 million) in sales, which are up 17.1 percent from fourth quarter 2014 and far beyond expert projections of €847.9 million. According to the brand, the sales surge is due in large part to its sneaker collaborations with Rihanna, and Puma CEO Bjoern Gulden added that Rihanna "can sell sneakers and Puma is onto something here which we haven't seen yet in the women's area." Next up from the Rihanna x Puma collaboration is the Fenty line, which made its debut last week at New York Fashion Week. Meanwhile, we can only imagine that Puma's just-announced Kylie Jenner partnership will help to further bolster sales. Stay tuned. Paralyzed Bunny Can Adorably Hop Around Thanks to Toy Skateboard Wheelchair
A baby bunny that was paralyzed this winter now has a sweet set of wheels. The folks at Overlook Acres discovered Wheels after he spent a night outside after a rabbit attacked him and left his back legs paralyzed. "After much care little wheels woke up to a nice warm room surrounded with humans," Jason Ambrosino wrote on a Kickstarter page, he hopes will fund a children's book about his story. The farm owners took him in and made him a wheelchair out of a miniature skateboard and a sock. -

Study Shows HPV Infection Rates Are Plummeting Thanks To Vaccines - Newsy
Transcript: When the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised parents to vaccinate 11-and 12-year-old girls against the human papillomavirus, or HPV, in 2006, it was a controversial move. But now it seems the suggestion is paying off. A study from the journal Pediatrics showed that from 2003 to 2006, 11.5 percent of teenage girls were infected with the virus. The most recent data from 2009 to 2012 showed only 4.3 percent of the same group had HPV. And the improvements weren't just for girls either. HPV cases in women ages 20-24 also dropped by more than a third across the same time periods. Those are certainly encouraging numbers, since two strains of HPV alone are responsible for 70 percent of cervical cancer cases. But there's still plenty of room for improvement. A 2014 CDC study revealed that only 60 percent of girls ages 13-17 had at least one of the three shots recommended by the organization, and less than 40 percent had all three. And even fewer boys have started the shot regimen. HPV is generally thought of as a virus only affecting women, but it can cause cancer or genital warts in both sexes. Researchers said they're encouraged by the decline in HPV and hope the study's results prompt more parents to get their children vaccinated. Towards the end of 2014, Puma surprised sneakerheads by naming Rihanna its women's creative director, and now a little over a year later, it looks like the move has paid off big time.
Bloomberg Business reports that Puma's 2015 fourth quarter earnings managed to surpass analyst predictions with €879 million (roughly $975 million) in sales, which are up 17.1 percent from fourth quarter 2014 and far beyond expert projections of €847.9 million.
According to the brand, the sales surge is due in large part to its sneaker collaborations with Rihanna, and Puma CEO Bjoern Gulden added that Rihanna "can sell sneakers and Puma is onto something here which we haven't seen yet in the women's area."
Next up from the Rihanna x Puma collaboration is the Fenty line, which made its debut last week at New York Fashion Week. Meanwhile, we can only imagine that Puma's just-announced Kylie Jenner partnership will help to further bolster sales. Stay tuned.

When the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised parents to vaccinate 11-and 12-year-old girls against the human papillomavirus, or HPV, in 2006, it was a controversial move. But now it seems the suggestion is paying off.
A study from the journal Pediatrics showed that from 2003 to 2006, 11.5 percent of teenage girls were infected with the virus. The most recent data from 2009 to 2012 showed only 4.3 percent of the same group had HPV.
And the improvements weren't just for girls either. HPV cases in women ages 20-24 also dropped by more than a third across the same time periods.
Those are certainly encouraging numbers, since two strains of HPV alone are responsible for 70 percent of cervical cancer cases. But there's still plenty of room for improvement.
A 2014 CDC study revealed that only 60 percent of girls ages 13-17 had at least one of the three shots recommended by the organization, and less than 40 percent had all three.
And even fewer boys have started the shot regimen. HPV is generally thought of as a virus only affecting women, but it can cause cancer or genital warts in both sexes.
Researchers said they're encouraged by the decline in HPV and hope the study's results prompt more parents to get their children vaccinated.

When the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised parents to vaccinate 11-and 12-year-old girls against the human papillomavirus, or HPV, in 2006, it was a controversial move. But now it seems the suggestion is paying off.
A study from the journal Pediatrics showed that from 2003 to 2006, 11.5 percent of teenage girls were infected with the virus. The most recent data from 2009 to 2012 showed only 4.3 percent of the same group had HPV.
And the improvements weren't just for girls either. HPV cases in women ages 20-24 also dropped by more than a third across the same time periods.
Those are certainly encouraging numbers, since two strains of HPV alone are responsible for 70 percent of cervical cancer cases. But there's still plenty of room for improvement.
A 2014 CDC study revealed that only 60 percent of girls ages 13-17 had at least one of the three shots recommended by the organization, and less than 40 percent had all three.
And even fewer boys have started the shot regimen. HPV is generally thought of as a virus only affecting women, but it can cause cancer or genital warts in both sexes.
Researchers said they're encouraged by the decline in HPV and hope the study's results prompt more parents to get their children vaccinated.

Pullets which are destined for egg production in laying aviaries should be reared in similar systems: "intensive training" from the first day onwards allows the birds to easily adapt to the laying aviary later on. Uniform and healthy pullets and a good start into the laying phase are the main goal. Big Dutchman's three tier NATURA aviary system offers the best possible pre-requisites for a smooth transition of the pullets from the rearing to the laying aviary: the lower and the central level of the aviary are equipped with feeding and drinker lines. The upper level is designed as a resting area, as the pullets are naturally drawn to use the highest place at night. This past Tuesday, thanks to Firaxis and 2K I ran a Tuesday livestream of Long War - a new campaign, featuring the first use of the new viewer namelist. Those who couldn't make it there live were hoping I could provide a recorded VOD of the event - here it is!
I played and commentated with tutorial in mind - my main goal for this stream was to show off Long War to newer players who haven't had a chance to see it before, though it was also a pleasure to play for veteran viewers and particularly for European fans who finally got a good time they could attend. With some new tactics/strategies attempted and a new lineup of soldiers to fight for Earth, we fight through March over just about five hours. New heroes will rise and fall, but who, and when?

Big Dutchman's three tier NATURA aviary system offers the best possible pre-requisites for a smooth transition of the pullets from the rearing to the laying aviary: the lower and the central level of the aviary are equipped with feeding and drinker lines. The upper level is designed as a resting area, as the pullets are naturally drawn to use the highest place at night.
This behaviour is encouraged by a sunset simulation, which means the lights in the lower and central level are switched off sooner than the lights in the top level.
