    Not the framing that is dominating the headlines. But the facts bear it out - senior Muslim figure of Sri Lanka warned the authorities about the suspects, and the warning doesn't seem to have been taken seriously. In the aftermath, many Sri Lankan Muslims worried about reprisals.

    The VP of the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka said he warned military intelligence officials about the extremist group blamed for the attack. “I personally have gone and handed over all the documents 3 years ago, giving names and details of all these people."

    In 1969, my father, a quadriplegic, was saving hard to buy an electric wheelchair. He never got to buy it. My mum used the savings for his funeral later that year. 50 years later, why are we still crying over wheelchairs?

    I’M DEVASTATED New plan dropped, wheelchair frame funded, no wheels! Needed the power assist wheels last year after losing my breasts! I’m on the floor crying over how undignified all of this is. My dignity and autonomy is impacted. How is this ok?
