Para Mi

Para Mi is the fifth solo album by Mexican singer Yuridia.

Album development

After a 2-year hiatus to focus on her personal life, Yurida returned to the studio. Details emerged about the new album via a note on her official Facebook page announcing the release of her new single, Ya te Olvidé, to radio stations on October 31, 2011.

It was later announced that the album would be released in Mexico on December 6, 2011, followed by a Latin America release date of December 13, then in the U.S. on December 20.

Promotion

As part of a promotional tour, Yuridia visited major Mexican cities. Her first concert after the release of her newest effort, in which she performed new material, was held in Chilpancingo.

Chart performance

The album debuted at No. 1 on the AMPROFON charts and was certified Gold for selling over 30,000 copies. A week later, the album was certified Platinum for selling over 60,000 copies. On January 9, 2012, it was announced that Para Mi had been certified Double Platinum. Today the album has become into triple platinum as of feb 23,2012

No Creo

"No Creo" (English: I don't believe) is a song written and performed by the Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira. The song was released as a single from her multi-platinum album Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998) and later from her acoustic performance of the song on the MTV show Unplugged (2000). On the song, the singer express how she believes in nothing (and nobody) except true love. The song references popular socially accepted or non-accepted norms such as herself, luck, Karl Marx, Jean-Paul Sartre, Mars and Venus, and Brian Weiss.

Music video

The video begins in a room, where Shakira jumps out of a window into a grassland where eccentric people are present. She scratches the ceiling of a room, goes through dark rooms, riots, swims through a washing room. The video is also present in her hit, "Ciega, Sordomuda", which therefore sparked rumors some scenes were shot back-to-back with "Ciega, Sordomuda".

Soy Luna is an upcoming Argentine telenovela produced by Disney Channel Latin America. Developed by Disney Channel Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the series will star Karol Sevilla together with Ruggero Pasquarelli. It is scheduled to premiere in March 2016. 80 episodes have been confirmed so far.

Plot

Luna is a girl who lives with her family in Cancun, Mexico. She goes to school, has her own group of friends, and loves to skate. However, her life changes when her parents are given a job offer that will move them to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Prince Royce

Geoffrey Royce Rojas (born May 11, 1989), known by his stage name Prince Royce, is an American singer, songwriter from The Bronx. At an early age, Royce took an interest in music and into his teenage years, began experimenting with music and writing poetry. By age nineteen, Royce met Andrés Hidalgo, who became his manager. Hidalgo later introduced Royce to Sergio George, who immediately signed him to his label after hearing three of his demos.

In March 2010, he released his eponymous debut studio album, which generated two commercially successful singles, "Stand by Me" and "Corazón Sin Cara". Both songs reached number-one on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart while "Corazón Sin Cara" reached number-one on the US Hot Latin Songs chart. The album itself reached number-one on the US Billboard Latin Albums and Tropical Albums charts. He also received three awards at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2011, which included Tropical Album of the Year for Prince Royce. Prince Royce was listed as one of the 50 Most Beautiful on the magazine People en Español in 2011. On April 10, 2012, Royce released his second studio album, Phase II. In November 2012, Royce released a compilation album entitled "#1's", a collection of his hits thus far.
