Neeraj Pandey

Neeraj Pandey (born 1973) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter best known for his film A Wednesday (2008), for which he won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director. His work on the film was highly praised by audiences as well as critics. He was nominated for "Best Director" category by Filmfare Awards. His second movie Special 26 (2013) has also been equally appreciated by the public and the critics. His third movie is Baby (2015) starring Akshay Kumar, released on 23 January. The film is also hugely critically acclaimed and a financial success too.

Early life and education

Neeraj Pandey was born and brought up in a Brahmin family in Kolkata. His father, who originally came from Bihar and worked for Bosch in Calcutta. Neeraj Pandey moved to New Delhi, where he graduated in English.

Career

Pandey started his career working with Delhi-based 'Legacy Entertainment', a company started by the Dalmia group to make television programs where he learnt his film basics.

Akshay Kumar

Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia (born 9 September 1967), better known by his stage name Akshay Kumar, is an Indian actor, producer and martial artist who has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films. He has been nominated for Filmfare Awards several times, winning it two times. When he began his acting career in the 1990s, he primarily starred in action films and was known for his appearances in films of the "Khiladi series" as well as other action films such as Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Mohra (1994), Elaan (1994), Suhaag (1994), Sapoot (1996), Jaanwar (1999).

Later, Kumar also gained fame for his drama, romance, action and comic roles. His performances in romance films like Yeh Dillagi (1994), Dhadkan (2000), Andaaz (2003) and Namastey London (2007), as well as drama films such as Waqt: The Race Against Time (2005). His comic performances in comedy films such as Hera Pheri (2000), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Garam Masala (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and Singh Is Kinng (2008) met with acclaim. In 2007, he starred in four consecutive commercially successful films. Kumar hit a rough patch since 2009 to 2011 but came back with two successes, Housefull 2 (2012) and Rowdy Rathore (2012) with both of them grossing over ₹1 billion (US$15 million). His other films like OMG (2012), Special 26 (2013), Holiday (2014), Gabbar is Back (2015) and Airlift (2016) were highly successful critically and commercially. In February 2013, many media outlets reported that the net box-office collection of Kumar's films had crossed ₹20 billion (US$290 million) and he was the first and the only Bollywood actor to do so.Box Office India listed Kumar as one of the most successful actors in the history of Indian Cinema. Having done so, he has established himself as a leading contemporary actor of Hindi cinema.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput is an Indian actor. He had a starring role in the soap opera Pavitra Rishta, and later participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. Rajput made his film debut as one of the three male leads in Abhishek Kapoor's drama Kai Po Che! (2013). He went on to star in the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and played the titular detective in the thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015), both of which were produced by Yash Raj Films.

Early life and background

Rajput was born in Patna, Bihar where his father worked as a government official. His ancestral village is Maldiha in Purnia district. His family moved to New Delhi in early 2000s and have been based there ever since. Rajput has four sisters with him being the youngest in the family. One of his sisters, Mitu Singh is a state-level cricketer. One of Sushant's sisters Shweta Singh Kirti lives in the US, two in Delhi and one in Chandigarh. He went to school in St. Karen's High School in Patna and Kulachi Hansraj Model School in New Delhi. He was studying Mechanical Engineering at the Delhi College of Engineering (now known as Delhi Technological University)

Sushant Singh is an Indian actor and Television host. He is mainly known for Savdhaan India as the host. He has also appeared in commercially successful films like Hate Story 2, Baby and many other films.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni ( pronunciation ; commonly known as M. S. Dhoni; born 7 July 1981) is an Indian cricketer and the current captain of the Indian national cricket team in limited-overs formats. An attacking right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest finishers in limited-overs cricket. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in December 2004 against Bangladesh, and played his first Test a year later against Sri Lanka.
